The fees VRBO charges is ridiculous. I will be using a local real estate agency in the future for all my vacation lodging needs. Otherwise, the house was amazing! 10 stars

Location, location, location. A very quick walk out the back door to the gondola and an equally easy walk to everything that the Town of Telluride has to offer. The house was very clean, everything worked and the host actually met us at the house and showed us everything. I would definitely stay here again.

Great house and location!

There were 7 of us in Telluride for our son’s wedding. The house easily accommodated us all. We were able to walk every where we needed to go, shopping, restaurants, groceries, and gondola. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!! Thank you to the owners for sharing such a lovely place!😊

Perfect spot for a group

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the 2nd time we stayed here and loved it just as much. The beds are on the main floor and basement with the kitchen/family room upstairs so it was nice to escape if you needed a minute in the quiet. Location is great, a block from the Gondola and downtown!

Great location

Beautiful house for a group of 7 adults. Everything is good - bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchen, eating and sitting areas. The only drawback for my husband particularly was the dozens of family photos, when he would prefer to feel the place was “ours” if only temporarily

JoeMary, thank you for staying at Double T Lodge. And thank you for the 5 star review! I understand and agree with what you are saying, at the same time, the owner's decorate their properties as they prefer. This particular owner if very family oriented and thus the pictures. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

Perfect House in a Great Location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay at the Lift 8 Lodge was ideal: an easy walk to shops, restaurants, and the gondola and a comfortable, well-appointed space to be with family. From the initial greeting to our departure, it was a wonderful stay. The next time we're in Telluride, I hope the home is available. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay!

Very convenient and cozy. Bunk bed mattress es were unsleepable even for our 8 year old. Beds overall could have been better. They are also doing construction next door. I had ear plugs and my wife is an easy sleeper but with windows open in summer, be aware. Would stay there again.

Thank you for your stay Carl and it was nice meeting you in person! We have had lots of construction in Telluride this summer. Also, the ownership of the Lodge recently changed hands and the new owner is upgrading the beds and mattresses. Hope we will see you again next year!

Property was well cleaned and ready for us. Spacious layout with the multiple floors and the upstairs being a great common space. Located right around the corner form the Gondola to Mountain Village and a block off the main street to all restaruants, theaters, cafes, shops, bars, it is a perfect location! Communication before and throughout our stay was great! The only confusing thing about the listing on VRBO versus the agreement you sign in order to stay is the difference in max guests, it is ultimately 8 people though on VRBO it stated 9. We ended up having a second house for the weekend given our group expanded so was not an issue, but I would double-check your guest count to make sure you are following the rules for stay. This property would be a great spot in the winter for anyone wanting a great ski/snowboard getaway but be close to everything downtown Telluride offers rather than staying in Mountain Village.

Wonderful week in Telluride…House was great! Perfect location and Pam at Welcome to Telluride was awesome host. She went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Our family of 7 stayed (including our 1 year old granddaughter) and Pam was so helpful navigating and recommending all the things that comes with traveling with a baby. They provided a hi-chair and pack and play at the house when we arrived. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location !

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented many properties from Welcome to Telluride, and they represented many very nice mother always said "if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything" so I will say the house is very nice, but I agree with the review of JoeMary M that you never feel like it's your home for the week because of the owners family pictures! We have rented all over the USA and never encountered this before. They are everywhere, even in the bath rooms. I always go back to the VRBO listing to see if I missed something, and the pictures DO NOT represent this property correctly! The VRBO ad only shows a few in the living room, but they are everywhere and sorry but they are also not good pictures !
