Must be 25 years or older to rent this property. The guest on the reservation must be present at check-in with photo ID which matches address and credit card used. The booking guest must be present during the complete stay.

A rental agreement will need signed upon booking and a Refundable Damage Deposit of $750 will be charged to your credit card 3 days prior to arrival. This deposit will be fully refunded within 3 days after checkout, provided there are no damages or policy violations.

Hilltop Retreat sits 1200 feet off the road in secluded setting atop a hill with over 20 acres to hike on. There's 6,200 square feet of luxury accommodations along with a spacious deck overlooking the tree lined hillside. You'll wish your stay was longer to enjoy all this lodge has to offer.

Relax, play, or exercise in the indoor saltwater pool in the attached pool house. Open up the sliding glass doors in the warm months to get the feeling of being outdoors-no sunscreen required! Or sunbathe on the attached deck overlooking the pond. When the sun sets, cozy up to the fire ring or play pool, ping pong, shuffleboard, air hockey or play on the 60 game arcade machine in the large game room. There is a pond but it has not filled completely yet.

Exterior security cameras are in use at this property at parking area.

NoiseAware (a 100% privacy compliant decibel monitoring sensor) 1 is located in main gathering area and 1 is on exterior.

The driveway is pretty steep on this property. A four wheel drive or front wheel drive vehicle is needed during the snowy months.

Great spot for Bachelor Party

Property was nice and big with plenty of places to sleep. Pool and hot tub were great to relax in. Cooking out by the campfire was awesome as well!

We went to celebrate our son's 14th birthday.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hilltop Retreat with Indoor Saltwater Pool. The accommodations were comfortable, and the property was kept clean and well-maintained. Our only complaints would be that the hot tub jets don't all work, and the downstairs bathroom has a bad smell.

Hilltop Christmas

A wonderful time was had by all - from ages 8 to 79, our 4 sons & their wives, and 8 grandchildren. Not all were able to stay over night all the time but it was close enough to Columbus to make the trip down even if for the day. The pool, the hot tub, all the arcade games, ping pong, and more were enjoyed. Very, very spacious. The property is beautiful.

Spacious and great location

We had a lovely family reunion and loved the indoor pool, large out door patio gathering space snd playground and hot tub. The big disappointment was the that the water is not drinkable and it requires bringing in all your water and ice and for 21 for 5 warm summer days that is s as lot of water! You will also need to provide propane for the gas grill. Hosts are lovely s as bd maintenance team very helpful - replaced the broken air conditioner in 24 hours!!

Perfect Family Getaway with Amazing Amenities and Thoughtful Hosts

Absolutely beautiful home! Our large family stayed here for Thanksgiving, and it was perfect. The kitchen was impressively stocked with everything we needed to cook, including crockpots and glass Snapware for leftovers. The pool was the highlight for the kids, while the hot tub was a peaceful retreat for the adults. The garage full of games kept both kids (5-17) and adults busy, and the heater was great since it was very cold during our stay.The host mentions the water being slightly salty, and while they provided filtered water jugs, we went through them quickly with 20 people and brought extra gallons from Costco.Beds were very comfortable, but the layout works best for groups who are close. One bedroom is a loft above the family room, making it hard to sleep in with morning activity in the kitchen. Another is right off the kitchen with a barn door, and two require walking through one to access the other. It worked well for our family but could be a factor for some groups.We had no trouble getting up the hill in our minivans and even used it for a morning workout! Overall, an amazing home with thoughtful details, and we’d definitely return. Fantastic hosts!

LOVE! This “Cabin”

I would give this vrbo ten stars if possible ! The house lists 26 guests , that is probably an understatement. The house is Huge! The first level is amazing! Bedrooms , bathrooms , two laundry areas , a kitchen even. Upstairs has tons of room , and the beds were all very Comfortable! The kids LOVED the game room ! Something for everyone here . The indoor pool is absolutely perfect ! Water is warm , and the room is kept warm also ! It’s perfect so you aren’t cold when you get out of the pool ! The kids could have stayed the entire day just in the pool ! Hot tub was large and temp was HOT , the way we prefer it . I really cannot list one negative here 
 Communication with the managers was easy and they responded quick . I even asked for advise on which attractions we should visit first . Yes one review listed the driveway is steep. It is . But if your new to the area , like I was . The entire area has many hills and steep driving conditions . Lots of twisty Turny roads . Besides the house , the kids favorite part of the trip was the antique mall .. If you have time it’s worth a stop in ! Very neat unique antique items inside . We would absolutely stay here again . I enjoyed just walking around the property even , beautiful wooded area . I can say this is the BEST vrbo we have ever stayed in ! Thank you so much !

It's a great place. very secluded. Indoor pool was amazing. The house was big enough to get lost in! only complaint would be that the water from the tap wasn't drinkable. tasted the same as the salt water pool. Everyone had a wonderful time!!!

Great Family Vacation Destination

My wife and I took our three daughters, their husbands, and all nine grandchildren for a long weekend family vacation to Hocking Hills. We thoroughly enjoyed Hilltop Retreat. Lots of space and the grandchildren spent a lot of time in the pool. Great Family Vacation Destination.

The stay and the house itself was amazing (: everyone had a great time and there is plenty of things to keep everyone busy ! My only complaint would be some things did not work. Such as the jets in the master bathroom tub, and one of the showers stopped working while we were there. lastly some of the doors got stuck and if the 1 bathroom didn't have 2 doors someone would of Ben stuck. But like I said the property and the house was fantastic and we had a great time even with the little things that didn't work.

Loved the house.

The house was great and as advertised. The driveway was a problem as one family could not get there standard transmission car up the driveway without burning rubber. We were unable to consistently lock the door leading to the deck.
