Canyon Retreat in the City

Resort living in town with amazing view of Pikes Peak. Fully furnished, 3 bedroom with sparkling clean hot tub and private patio. Private full first floor living space/apartment. Located in the high end, Rockrimmon area, guests have a secluded, private entrance full basement apartment. Their own sparkling clean salt water spa, fire pit with city overlook, patio with dining for 6. Newly remodeled with new flooring, appliances and much more. Safe neighborhood with amazing views for a very reasonable price. Please note that we have a strict no smoking policy and we are not 420/mjm friendly. If you are looking for a college party experience, please look elsewhere. (thanks for understanding!) Also, please note that there are no shared spaces, but my wife and I live in the upper level. You likely will not see us after checkin. FYI: we are a legal and permitted property: Colorado Springs permit: STR-1156

Wonderful property! Beautiful views and very convenient to touristy things. Home was clean and spacious. Our hosts were friendly, helpful and responsive. If we're ever in Colorado Springs again we'll definitely stay here.

Delightful Colorado Experience

Steve and Ann are wonderful hosts, and we enjoyed our stay at their house with the scenic views overlooking Colorado Springs. The location was ideal for us, and the surrounding neighborhood was lovely. We were very comfortable in the beautifully decorated rooms, and we appreciated our hosts’ attention to details that made our stay a great one. We especially enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of sight seeing. We would definitely stay there again.

The location is perfect to go to USAFA and all the surrounding areas. The communication with Steve was easy and we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay.

Fun experience

The owners were super nice and informative. My kids loved seeing the wildlife around their house and enjoyed the hot tub. We will definitely be coming back again.

What a treat!

This was a perfectly beautiful, restful place to stay in Colorado Springs. It was far enough away from the bustle of town to be so peaceful, yet close enough to do all of the things we wanted to do! Steve and Ann were delightful and responsive hosts. Their place was all that we wanted!

The best host and hostess

My family of 4 stayed for 3 nights/4 days. Steve and Ann are wonderful people, this is a very comfortable setting. We felt at home. As someone else mentioned they have all the amenities you could think of. This is centrally located and easy to get to all the tourists destinations, then come “home” and relax. We were able to see a doe and her fawn in the mornings and witnessed the super moon by fire at night, Highly recommended!

Perfect play to stay

This is a great place to unwind and relax. The accommodation is really spacious with lots of wardrobe space. The views are amazing and the local deer population are a treat to watch. My whole family enjoyed the peace and quiet of the location. Steve and Ann are fantastic hosts who will go the extra mile to make sure you have a wonderful visit. Even though they live above we felt like the place was just ours but they were also happy to chat and help in any way. Thank you to you both for making us so welcome. If we are ever in Colorado Springs again, we will certainly book this place. The Garthwaite family England

Absolutely Perfect

We came for my daughter’s 7am wedding at Garden of the God’s. The host was absolutely perfect, allowing us to have beautiful and photographer on site so early in the am. Also allowed us to invite other local family members over for dinner one evening. The home was adorable, perfect set up for a wedding party to get ready in. The hot tub was Great! And we watched deer every morning and evening come right up to the house. You will not find a better host than Steve and Ann!! Can’t say enough abt how special they made our event. Will most definitely return. A++++

LGBTQ caution

The owners live upstairs and, when we met them, expressed opinions about transgender people that made their disrespect clear. I doubt I would have felt comfortable staying here if I had been with my female partner instead of my mother. VRBO states: Our principles are: Trust Safety Respect We expect every member of our community to show respect and tolerance in their interactions. The owners did not follow these principles.

The owners were friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed seeing the deers in the neighborhood and looked forward to seeing them every day as well as on the property. The property was charming and clean with a beautiful view of the town, especially at night with the city light. We also loved sitting in front of the fireplace and talking about our day.

Wonderful stay

Fantastic

We loved our stay at Steve and Ann's VRBO. The space was clean, cozy, and welcoming. My 2 children loved it. The vintage decor was really fun. The hot tub and spacious back patio was great. The neighborhood was quiet and had a secluded feel with lots of pines throughout. It was all just perfect for a multi-day adventure in Colorado Springs. If we are back in the Springs, we'd definitely stay with Steve and Ann again.

Our Canyon Retreat is newly remodeled with wonderful amenities. Hot tub, fire pit, woodturning fireplace, kitchen and dining for 6 people both inside and out. Easy access to many attractions and is situated in a very safe, high end neighborhood with off street parking for 2 cars. You will love the covered patio with a fountain and party lights.
