Enjoy your stay in our modern cottage located near the historic and beautiful downtown Salado. Large Windows offer serene panoramic views of the properties huge oak trees and various deer that reside on the property. Enjoy lounging at the nearby pergola for a peaceful and romantic fire lit experience. Nestled only .5 miles from downtown and 1 mile from the golf course you will be perfectly central to all Salado has to offer.

The spacious cottage includes luxury bedding, a 60" TV, rainfall shower, soaking tub, and beautiful views. The space comfortably sleeps two adults and two children on the sofa. A blow up mattress is available upon request.

Enjoyable and Relaxing

A very well kept property that was relaxing and enjoyable. We enjoyed looking out the windows as the deer went by. The accommodations met our needs. We will be back.

Wonderful Sister Weekend

The yard of the cottage is beatiful. The huge window looks out on the beautiful yard and trees. We had deer come through each night. It is located near town. We will definitely go there again.

Great time was had by all

Just stayed one night but the host was responsive,the cottage was clean, everything worked . The location was closed to town but still had a country feel,even saw some deer in the field!

Beautiful Setting & Space

The property is just as described in the listing. It features a beautiful setting complete with huge oaks and tree swings. The cottage has impressive floor to ceiling windows with a comfortable sofa in the sitting area. The bathroom is luxurious and the tub can’t be beat! The location is away from the hustle and bustle, but still just a few minutes to Main Street. We always enjoy our stay!

Best Place to Stay

The Cottage has become our home away from home in Salado. It is meticulously maintained and situated on a beautiful lot with lots of large trees. The location is perfect, with great access to Main Street. We won't stay anywhere else!

Nice Salado Retreat

Comfy, spacious getaway. Pretty place & views. Lots of windows & light. Comfortable bed & bedding and just the right small touches to enhance your stay. All the amenities needed for a weekend getaway. Close to the Main street shops in historic district. We especially enjoyed being greeted by a nice buck & a few does lounging on the front lawn when we returned in the evening.

Anniversary Trip

The guest house was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The owners live next door, but they are friendly and respect your privacy just as they want theirs respected. They have a golf cart you can rent, which is how a lot of people travel in the town. It’s a nice, relaxing place to take life a little slower.

Rimatic getaway

My husband and I snuck away for a few nights and it was wonderful. Our favorite was coffee watching 2 little fawns right outside the window! We also enjoyed relaxing in the soaking rub! Everything was perfect.

Just what we needed

This property was great for my friend and I who were in town to celebrate my birthday. I loved the big windows and swings on the grounds. It was stocked with everything that we needed. The only thing I wish would have been communicated, was that there was a golf cart to rent with the room. I did not know and therefore rented from a company and paid triple for it.

A Beautiful Little Get Away

This guest house is absolutely gorgeous. Clean, very spacious, and has everything you need. We loved the property - just beautiful - inside and out! And loved seeing deer both nights we were there.
