Denna pittoreska, husdjursvänliga (med ägartillstånd) stuga är en kilometer från centrum av Skaneateles by-gångavstånd. Det ligger på en privat körfält cirka 400 meter från Skaneateles sjön - inga vägar att korsa. Stugan är omgiven av träd och mycket privat. Stugan, medan en 2 minuters promenad nerför den privata körfältet till sjön, innehåller en separat, privat veranda (rustik röd byggnad som visas på foto) precis vid sjön - perfekt för cocktails, solnedgångar etc. Observera: Den röda stugan vid vattnet är bara förvaring. Du kommer att vistas är i den grönskande stugan som är detaljerad av interiören bilder. Den rödaktiga stugan visar tillgång till sjön. Det finns en 2 minuters promenad mellan stugan du bor i och din privata tillgång till sjön.
Sjöfronten är plan, har en egen brygga och har en gradvis sluttning - bra för bad för alla åldrar. Banan är trädkantad - mycket privat. Stugan är uppvärmd. Stugan kan rymma en familj på 4-6 personer och har wi-fi.

Great getaway

Property was well located clean and unique The only small negative was listed as being air conditioned only primary bedroom has air conditioning. The view of lake from the dock was outstanding

We had a great stay at the cabin near the lake. Andy was extremely responsive and flexible with questions and adjusting our reservation. We stayed at the property during a heat wave, but there were plenty of fans and the bedroom had an AC unit. Everything was as pictured. Morning stroll to the lake felt like a movie… bunnies, chipmunks, ducklings all made appearances. The property makes you feel like you are away from the hustle and bustle but is a short drive or walk to the village.

Lake Access Cabin

While our weather was unexpectedly chilly, our time away in the cabin was wonderful. We were supplied adequately with heat and with every possible device and appliance. We had a woodsy, charming and short walk to the lake which our Italian Greyhound especially enjoyed. The bed, the bedding, the towels, the dishes, the cooking utensils were good quality and more than adequate. And the availability of firepit and wood was an extra treat. Just being near the beautiful Village of Skaneateles was especially noteworthy. But, if your hope is to fish, bring or rent a boat or kayaks.

Great Cabin!

We felt like we were in the middle of peaceful woods with our very own lake to skip rocks on. Then we jumped in our car and we were in the cutest town, Skaneateles, with shops restaurants and a great place to walk in just a 4 minute car ride! My kids want us to buy the cabin!

Lovely getaway

The place was great, roomy for just the two of us and our dog. I loved taking the short walk down to the lakeshore each morning and especially at night to see all the stars. Hosts were more than accommodating and friendly. We'll definitely stay here again!

A suggestion

since the property owner recommends that guests use bottled water for drinking, a couple of bottles to get a new guest started would be appreciated. also some detail on what is in the house before we have to ask. beautiful and clean property. we were not there to take advantage of all the amenities because we were having a family reunion off site but we would visit again.

Beautiful area and wonderful cabin

Our cabin was in a very private area with access to the lake. That is exactly what we we were looking for—privacy, quiet, and a peaceful natural area with birds and our special rabbit whom we saw frequently. We loved the dock area and spent a lot of time there just looking at the lake. We took our boards and kayak out every day to explore the beautiful, clean waters of the lake. It was a wonderful experience. The cabin was comfortable and clean, with all necessities provided. I appreciated the coffee-table book about the Finger Lakes, which made me think about the history of the region and its progressive communities. The back porch and campfire area were also comfy, and we used them a lot. I hope that cabins like ours continue to be offered to Skaneateles visitors, and that the neighborhood does not become increasingly posh and exclusive.

Beautiful lake!

We enjoyed our stay at Skaneateles lake. The cottage has lake access, which is where we launched our kayaks from. The lake was quiet and calm during our stay! Andy is very nice and was responsive to my questions. Tyson enjoyed our getaway!

Quaint Cottage

This property was perfect for our needs. We were gone most days, but we did enjoy the scenery surrounding the cottage. It was gorgeous. It fit 3 adults nicely. I wouldn't recommend any more than 4. The property manager was communicative and checking in and out was a breeze.

Relaxing weekend

The cabin had all the amenities listed and was a nice home away from home. The interior was clean and ready for our visit. Just a short walk from the cabin, the sitting area down by the lake was very peaceful. The neighborhood was quiet and close to areas we wanted to see, including Syracuse, Seneca Falls, and Auburn.

The cabin was very nice it included a short stroll to be on the water.

The cabin was very nice. The bed was comfortable and we spent coffee time on the porch. It is a short stroll to the water where you can sit on a porch or dock on the water for a beautiful sunset. We brought our fishing boat and enjoyed relaxing and fishing on the lake. There is a great NYS boat launch on the west side of the lake. You do need to bring bottled water for drinking. Our dog seemed to enjoy her little get away. Thank you to the hosts.

We had a great stay, but had to work around some rainy weather.

We love this area and all around Skaneateles. This location is convenient to town and stores and recreation. Walking down to the lake and sitting was so relaxing. We had a nice cook out with some family who came up for the day and a nice campfire in the firepit to cap off a truly wonderful vacation.

Great Stay

We really enjoyed our time at the cozy cabin. Just a shirt stroll down the lane to the lake. Andy, our host was quick to respond if we had questions orior to our stay. He was also readily a available if we needed him while at the cabin.

Cottage

My husband and I had a wonderful time at the cottage. It was quaint, comfortable and very clean. We enjoyed the short walk to the lake each morning and loved the town of Skaneateles. I cannot give enough praise to our host Andrew. Throughout the reservation process, prior to our leaving, and during our stay, he answered my E-mails promptly and made sure everything was set for our arrival.
