Come enjoy your stay at Beachwood Bliss - a cozy retreat with all the comforts of your own home. Conveniently located a short walk away from Jean Klock beach, this private home will be your own oasis. Tucked away inside the beautiful Harbor Shores community, Beachwood Bliss comfortably sleeps 8, has free high speed wifi, a gas firepit, patio with grill and accessories, and a full kitchen. You can enjoy the day golfing, beach going, or simply relaxing on the patio on our comfortable double rocking chair. St. Joseph's adorable downtown is full of delicious restaurants and gorgeous scenery from the bluff and Silver Beach. Benton Harbor offers pristine beaches (Jean Klock and Rocky Gap) as well as fantastic eateries and an inspiring art scene.

The upper level's 2 bedrooms of our home each have king beds and their own full bathrooms. The lowest level offers a twin over queen bunk bed along with a pull out twin trundle bed and a kids pullout couch and an attached full bathroom plus washer/dryer.

Great Property, Great Communication, Very Close to the Beach

Beachwood Bliss is a fantastic stay and very close to Silver Beach. Our family really enjoyed the 2 primary bedrooms on the 2nd floor and our kids loved the basement bunks! Plenty of bathrooms for all guests. Justin was very communicative. The garage is well stocked with beach gear! We would absolutely stay here again!

Great location

Quiet neighborhood, many family friendly amenities provided in house. Convenient to golf course, downtown St. Joseph, and beaches. Owner very responsive.

Beachside stay

house was clean and and a great location. It had everything you needed for our group from kids to adults. Hosts were great and professional. Neighbors were meddlesome but overall great area. Fun to say hi to the golfers coming through and walk to the beach.

Lovely Family & Friends Stay

Four adults and kids under 10 stayed in this house for four days/3 nights. It was lovely. The kids really enjoyed the basement playroom/bunkroom. The adults really enjoyed the quiet and nearby living room. It was so easy to be near and enjoy quiet space in this home. Thank you for the stay, Beachwood Bliss!!!

Great house in a perfect location

We stayed here for a girls’ weekend (teens and moms). There was plenty of space and the house was exactly as shown in the pictures. We loved being walking distance to the beach and a short drive to either St. Joseph or Benton Harber. We would stay here again!

Birthday Trip

This was the PERFECT place for a beach getaway with friends! The house is clean, cute, and great for multiple people. We easily walked to the beach and St. Joe! The owner was very kind and communicative. We’d stay here again!

Bliss at Beachwood Bliss!

We stayed 3 nights for Labor Day weekend. House was very clean and well stocked. Loved that it had 3 1/2 bathrooms and 2 King size bed en suite bedrooms with another sleeping area in the basement. We had a great time. Great proximity to beach and town. Owners very helpful with suggestions. Hope to stay again soon!

Family Visit

This property was perfect for the 5 of us sleeping there plus multiple visitors over for dinner and drinks. Parking was a bit of an issue for visitors but the overflow parking area accommodated us for the most part. The grill was wonderful and the kitchen had everything we needed. Our son especially enjoyed his “own room” in the lower level. We liked that each bedroom had en suite baths. This property is close to many attractions like Silver Beach, Tiscornia Park, Rocky Gap, Harbor Shores Golf Course and downtown St Joe where we enjoyed shopping and lunch. Overall we would definitely recommend this property for smaller groups or families.

Family Fun

This house is fantastic! It's location is just a short walk from the beach. The house was clean and Justin has thought of everything you need. We had a toddler and there was a highchair and pack-n-play ready for us to use. I rent VRBO's all the time and if there is every more than 2 people stay with us, we have to but more supplies (PT, garbage bags, soap, etc.), but there was plenty on hand here. The kitchen was also well supplied, with nice pots and pans. I will say that there's only room for a compact car in the garage and only one car in the driveway, however, there's another lot that you can park in if you have more cars.

A blissful thumbs-up

We were wowed with the accommodation at Beachwood Bliss. Very well-appointed with a multitude of water accessories and toys for all ages (even books!). The beds & pillows were extremely comfortable. The rear porch opens into a large nature area that makes the small yard feel very spacious and safe for the young ones. And we could wave at the occasional golfers joyfully traveling from hole 5 to 6. Both adjoining neighbors were very friendly and told us to ask any questions we wanted. You have to be a bit creative with the limited parking, but it all worked out. The owner was very responsive to any issues. All-in a great experience.

Great location! Great home base!

We were in town for a family wedding. We loved staying at this property! It was the perfect location - just a few minute drive to all the places we wanted to visit. The house was exactly as pictured and described in the listing. The beds are comfy, and everything was clean clean clean! Our young kids especially loved the children’s toys and Nintendo Switch. It was a cozy place to come back and relax after a day of fun in downtown St. Joseph’s. Our kids loved it so much, we had tears upon leaving! Would definitely come back and stay again.

Great Home and Great Location

We loved our stay! The listing is exactly as advertised. Beautiful home, close to the beach, shopping and restaurants. Our daughter loved her bed and all of the closet space. My husband appreciated all of the details from the fully wired home, well stocked kitchen to beach chairs and toys. We will definitely book again when in the area.

Loved this house!

We stayed up here for the Ironman 70.3 and this house couldn't have been in a more perfect spot. Quick walk across the street and you were in Jean Klock Park which is the Start/Finish for the event! The hosts were extremely easy to communicate with as well. As far as the house, it was really nice and comfortable and was perfect for our family. If I do the race again, I will definitely be trying to book this house for the trip!

Our time in St Joseph

This property gives easy access to St Joseph and Benton harbor. Both areas have a lot to offer: dining, shopping, beaches, and more. The house is very comfortable and provided for all our needs. We greatly enjoyed the back porch.

Great stay in St Joseph!

We came to St Joseph for a week last summer and loved it so much we came back for Memorial Day. This was our first time staying in this rental, and it was perfect! Amazing birdwatching right off the porch. Gorgeous views from the master. Fun toys for the kids, and it was really nice to have the pack n play and high chair in the house so we didn’t have to lug ours. We loved the location. By our last day we were totally relaxed. Wonderful wonderful stay. We will definitely be back to this house!

Beachwood Bliss was perfect for our family vacation

We were looking for a three bedroom home with a minimum of three baths, and located near good beaches and great restaurants. Beachwood Bliss looked perfect for our family vacation with 6 adults. The owner, Justin Philips, was most helpful in meeting our needs, and indeed is a Super Host. The property is well maintained and exactly as described in the Vrbo listing. Harbor Shores is next to Jean Klock Park and beach, and Silver Beach in St Joe is a 5 minute drive from the house. We can recommend Beachwood Bliss and hope to return next year.

Perfect Getaway

My husband and I traveled with our 4 yr old and twin 1yr olds. The home was located just a quick drive or walk from the Kloch Beach (which we found quieter and CLEANER than Silver Beach). We enjoyed the home very much. It was immaculately clean (and I am a bit of clean freak because I have littles; I need places where I feel like they are safe if they crawl about the floors). Justin was communicable and accommodating. Toys, baby gear, and gates were all accessible to us. Last time we were up in St. Joe's we stayed at the Boulevard Inn. Which was nice for convenience, but we won't be going back now that we know about this house.

My first post pandemic trip

This property is gorgeous and located close to everything you might need want or desire. To be honest I was extremely nervous about traveling. I think I started communicating with Justin about 3 years ago, sadly due to family health issues (mine) and the pandemic I was unable to actually go until last week It was SO WORTH THE WAIT This is a lovely home and set up to provide all that is needed. I was traveling with 3 of my grandkids ages 3 months, 6 and 7 year old, everything we needed was there. There is ONE main reason why this family trip was perfect in every way and that is because the host. Justin guided me through every little question I had. Justin was always prompt in returning messages and was beyond understanding with this needy grandma and all my 100’s of questions Justin provided a wealth of information in his welcome packet yet was always available to help me fully understand what I read, like I said this was my first time traveling in 3 years. I cannot thank Justin enough for being an outstanding host. It is definitely customer service like Justin provides that brings you back to this gem.
