Perfect Getaway

This was our first time staying on Keuka Lake but not the first time to the area. This is the perfect place for two people. Its location is in the heart of Hammondsport which is a quaint town. Great places to eat, shop, and relax. The lake is about 3 blocks away for swimming, boating, fishing, or the perfect spot to read!! Everything about this place is lovely from the decor to accommodations. We will be back!

Perfect location

This is a perfectly placed property in the heart of Hammondsport. Walk to everything, relax, unwind and enjoy lake life as if you were a local. Took a fabulous yoga class, walked around town, shopped at the grocery store, ate delicious blueberry lemon crepes at the creamery and spicy shrimp at Timber stone grill. 10 out of 10!! I will be back.

2 day getaway

My wife and I planned a short trip to do a little hiking and visit a few wineries. There were several wineries within a short drive of town. The Hammondsport Hideaway was conveniently located in town just a short walk to shops and restaurants. It was very clean, cozy place with a comfy king size bed.

Perfect Spot

My husband and I loved this little space! It was clean and all we needed. We had enough of everything and I even enjoyed a cup of coffee from the Keurig in the room! My only note would be the shower curtain could use a refresh. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Only a few steps from the middle of Hammondsport

The Hideaway was a beautiful space. We were steps from the park where there was free music Saturday night and lots of shops and restaurants within a 2 min walk. The lake is right up the street. Our stay couldn't have been better

Take it easy

Conveniently located. Walked to breakfast and dinner. Enjoyed the Music in the park. Keuka Lake beautiful. Took in the boat show on Saturday. Many attractions near by. I left a note in room with a few suggestions to make others stay even better.

Clean, convenient, good value

We had a great stay in Hammondsport and found the town itself lovely, and also great as a home base for day trips here and there. The property is spotless, quiet, cute, and entirely as advertised. It was just what we needed and Carla was always quick to respond to any inquiry. I'd highly recommend this property to anybody.

Great Location & Perfect Size

One room and a bathroom: Seating area with two comfy chairs, tv and small fridge; king size bed with two pillows on each side; window a/c unit; coffee area with wine glasses, keurig, k-cups, sugar and creamers; good sized bathroom with walk in shower. Approx. 5 steps outside to get into the room--the concrete stairs looked brand new and had a good railing on one side. Several antique shops, restaurants and even a grocery store within 200 ft. Would definitely stay here again!

Truly A Hidden Gem

The place is as clean as clean can be. Was exactly as described and in a perfect location right in the center of Hammondsport. Mini-frig and freezer came in handy. Would definitely recommend.

Cute Little Studio In heart of Hammondsport

We had a great time at this convenient location. It is small as some others have mentioned - One open room with bed and living area- basically what I call a studio apartment. It was super clean and the bed was comfortable. We did not use the coffee service or microwave during our 3 day stay- but did appreciate the small fridge with small freezer section also. We could see the host is very attentive to suggestions from guests as some small ice cube trays and hooks near the door had been installed for guests to have a place to hang some clothes. We were able to park right outside on the street- once we parked further away when no spaces close (just around the corner) but by 9pm most of the cars clear out and we could move our vehicle closer. I would certainly stay here again if in the area.

The accommodations were just lovely!

What a great location. We could walk to everything. the town is charming. Beach was beautiful. Restaurants delightful! We ventured out to The Windmill and found some great fun and food shopping. Did some wine tastings and met up with friends. We will be back!

Happy in Hammondsport

Everything about this little spot was just wonderful. Even though it was compact, it really had everything you’d need for a weekend getaway. It was really nice to have all you needed within walking distance too (grocery, restaurants, wine store, and ofc the lake). Whenever we had questions, Carla was quick to respond. I’d definitely consider adding the wifi info within the unit or welcome email. Also, I’d request to have the lawn mowed later in the morning. They were mowing right outside the window at 8:30am on Saturday. That said, We’d definitely stay here again in a heartbeat!
