Om boendet

Our cabin is located in a quiet, private cabin community surrounding a beautiful lake. There is one bedroom and an open loft. Picture yourself have your morning coffee or evening wine on the big front porch looking at the lake. You can take it easy and relax in the middle of nature or you can fish, bike, hike, canoe or kayak all within minutes of the cabin. There are breweries, wineries, golfing and historic places to tour all around, as well. Perfect for couples, families and getaways with friends. We provide free wi-fi and we have a TV with a Firestick to enjoy your favorite shows. We have a fire pit available to sit around at night to roast s’mores, as well. This is a quiet community and we do not allows parties to occur at the cabin during your visit. A maximum of six guests are allowed for the entire stay. We ask that you bring your own towels. We do provide all of the bed linens for your stay.
The wood burning stove cannot be used. For rentals in the winter, it would be best if you have a four wheel drive vehicle. Roads in the community can get challenging in bad weather.

great mid week get a way!

Lakeview cabin

We found the cabin clean, comfy, and cozy. It had everything we needed! The hosts were great. We enjoyed exploring the area and found the Allegheny Grille a nice place to eat.

Awesome Cabin

Cabin is located in a nice cabin neighborhood close to Emlenton and the Allegheny River Trail. Really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the area. Cabin has everything you need (other than a microwave😮). We enjoyed the American Grille in Foxburg. Definitely hope to be back. Thanks for sharing your cabin!

Perfect getaway

We had a great time and loved the location. We went fishing at clear creek state park during the day and had a fire at the cabin after. I forgot things for smores and when we showed up the owners left us some on the counter which was a nice surprise! The cabin was nice and cozy and would love to stay here again

Quiet Weekend Getaway

What an amazing property! I was looking for a quiet, small town getaway and that is exactly what was provided! Our hosts left excellent recommendations that were all very close to the cabin. The home itself was beautiful with an amazing view. BOOK IT.

Cozy cabin getaway

My partner and I felt right at home at this property when we stayed for a last minute weekend getaway. We didn’t get to check out the lake since it snowed most of our stay, so we embraced the snow globe cabin vibes and made good use of the available board games and reading chairs! Marcy and Erich are great hosts and we look forward to staying here again in the future!

Perfect Cabin for Girls Weekend!

The cabin is absolutely adorable and Marcy and Erich are fantastic to work with. We enjoyed a walk around the lake, a fire outside, and spending time laughing and playing games in this very clean and perfectly decorated cabin. It was a great getaway and in the perfect location for us to meet. We will definitely return!

The Perfect Getaway!!!

It is a picturesque location on a private serene lake. The fog over the water in the morning with the sun streaming through was SO beautiful! The cabin had everything we needed plus. They really thought of everything! It was cozy & very, very clean! We look forward to our next stay!

Relaxing Weekend Away

We had a lovely anniversary get away at this cabin. Prior to arrival, the owners were very easy to communicate with. The cabin was immaculate and well appointed. The cabin is located in a private vacation community; we enjoyed the peace and quiet-especially sitting on the porch looking at the lake. We can't wait to return sometime with our son.

An amazing getaway :)

When we first arrived, we were in absolute awe of how cozy the setting was. The cabin is in such a beautiful location—the lake was in perfect view. With the heat this time of year, the cabin took a while to cool down, however with all the recommendations on things to do given by the family, we didn’t mind at all. My friends and I absolutely recommend staying here, thank you for your hospitality!!

Tranquil and relaxing getaway!

This property couldn’t have been better! It was just what we needed to get away from life for a few days. We had an amazing time on the deck porch swing overlooking the lake, fun walks around the lake and a great trip to Foxburg (go to Allegheny Grille!). Marcy couldn’t have been a better host and welcomed us with such personal sweet touches. It was so very peaceful.

We looked all over for a cabin to enjoy as a family. We kept coming back to this community and we are so happy that we purchased it. We love spending time together as a family. We enjoy biking, hiking, checking out wineries, restaurants and hanging out by the lake with our friends.

We chose this cabin because we wanted to be able to get away while still being close to home near Pittsburgh. We fell in love with the view of the lake immediately. We like to check out different parts of PA and this cabin is close to some of our favorite spots. Life is truly better at the lake.
