Byggnaden påminner om sjuttonhundratalets New Orleans arkitektur och byggdes någon gång före 1883. Lägenheten ligger på andra våningen och är alltid uppdateras med nya och spännande förbättringar. Interiören har nyligen uppgraderats med en totalrenovering av badrum / dusch, nya mattor, dörrar och fönster i hela. Den "Kage House" ligger på 120 Broadway i centrum historiskt område och är mindre än en minuts promenad till Main Street och mindre än en 10 minuters promenad till 'Isle of Capri Casino ". On Main Street hittar du många fina affärer och restauranger, eller bara njuta av det natursköna området som du walkabout. Detta är absolut en av de bästa platserna i Cape bo !!

Sovrummet är möblerat med en king size-säng och plattskärms-tv. Vardagsrummet är möblerat med en "Lazy Boy" queen size bäddsoffa och en 45 "platt-TV. Lägenheten är fullt utrustad. Internet / wifi användning, samt kabel med flera filmkanaler ingår i priset för din vistelse.

Rätt tvärs över gatan finns en restaurang med namnet Minglewood. Du kan njuta av middagar och ett stort urval av hantverköl.

Best of the best!

This upstairs unit is perfect for a long weekend getaway trip! It has everything you need and is in the perfect location to the downtown area. Walking distance to shopping and great restaurants! The area is very safe and my daughter and I are comfortable walking around the downtown area any time of day.Great owner with quick response time! We enjoyed our stay and will be back!!

Fantastic location, great accommodation

There couldn’t be a better location for going out on the riverfront in Cape Girardeau. It is well set up with beautiful furniture and all the kitchen supplies you would need. Highly recommend.

Perfect Stay When in Cape!

This property is perfect for a stay in Cape. You can see the river from the property. It is in close proximity to several nice restaurants and bars. The property was extremely clean and well equipped, having the washer and dryer was a huge plus as we were in town for a volleyball tournament. It can be a little bit noisy on the weekends due to the area having a couple bars and traffic, but nothing too excessive. We will definitely stay here again.

Love this place

This is our third stay here. We love the Kage House and its location. We live only 75 miles from here but it makes a nice weekend get away. The weekend we stayed they were having a car show and our granddaughter had a volleyball tournament in Cape so it worked out great. We will be back!

Perfect stay

What an incredible stay! Waking up to the sunrise over the river was such a peaceful way to start each day. We loved watching the boats drift by and spotting birds while enjoying our morning coffee. The house itself is absolutely beautiful – full of charm and so welcoming. The bed was very comfortable. The thoughtful touches like the snacks and drinks made us feel right at home. The location was perfect – we walked to two local breweries, took a scenic walk along the river, and explored the charming shops on Main Street. We even tried our luck at the casino! Brunch at the restaurant across the street was the perfect way to end our trip. Thank you for such a memorable and relaxing experience. We can't wait to come back!

Great place to stay!

Great location in downtown Cape! When we travel we are usually disappointed with the bed and furnishings but this property had a very comfortable couch and bed. Beautifully decorated with deck with the view of the river!

Weekend Getaway

Property was better than advertised. Really great host, and provided more than expected. The place was very inviting, clean, and spacious. It is in a very convienent and fun part of historical downtown Cape G, all within walking distance. It was relaxing to walk a block away and sit, watching the Mississippi river flow by. I highly recommend staying at this property, you will not be disappointed.

Excellent location!

The Kage House is a beautifully appointed property right at the top of the old downtown. The property has more than you need because of the thoughtful owners. Everything downtown is easily walkable. Sitting on the deck watching the river traffic is a highlight!

Anniversary weekend

We loved the Kage House! It was one of the best highlights of our weekend getaway. Just a perfect place to stay--within walking distance of great restaurants and cool shops. We loved it. We would definitely stay there again. Wonderful hosts!!

This property is amazing! Close to everything and so clean! The weather was cold for mid March so I’m looking forward to our next trip when we can utilize the awesome deck looking at the Mississippi River! We highly recommend!!!

Kage House

Excellent stay at the Kage house. I was traveling alone travel RN and new to the area. I felt safe and had everything I needed. Keith was very helpful and made sure my stay was stress free! There was a snow storm the day I was checking out to drive back home. Keith arranged for me to have a late check out so I could get a nap (night shift nurse) and the roads were in good condition. 10/10 would recommend.

The Kage House is a very comfortable and well maintained property located steps away from great restaurants, upscale bars and shopping in the historical downtown area of Cape Girardeau. My daughter and I stayed there and were very comfortable and pleased with the location, property and area. Keith was great to work with in setting up our stay there, as well. We will most definitely be back!!

Lovely place on the Mississippi

We had a perfect stay here. The owners have made this property comfortable, pleasing and fun. The bed is comfy and the bedding is fluffy and white like a hotel. Fluff white towels in the bathroom and toiletries for guest use. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking. They have spices, a junk drawer for incidentals and lots of coffee. The deck is awesome and the sun coming up over the Mississippi is special! This is a 10. I would stay here again.

Beautiful place

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Beautiful views of the river & so close to things to do. Loved going to the farmers market & so many other things to see & do there. We especially loved just sitting on the deck relaxing & just enjoying all the views. We will definitely stay here again when we’re back in the area!!

Another Great Stay

OMG you did it again. Another great stay at the Kage House. It's an amazing place. Right downtown and with the river right there. Love to sit on the deck and watch the people and the boats come and go. Very comfortable place to stay. Good Job!
