Blue Paradise on the lake

Magnificent chalet located in St-Pierre Lake, an area where life is good and where one can easily rest. The residence is fully furnished and equipped for a hassle-free stay. An incredible view of the lake is offered to you. Available Mai 30 to September 30: dock, 1 double and 1 simple kayak, 1 row boat and 1 canoe are available . Also enjoy your evenings by the fire with two fireplaces, indoor and outdoor.

Children will have a good time and so will adults. You can fish on the dock and it`s about 10 feet deep. Numerous beaches, hiking and mountain biking.

Please note that tenants must be over 30 years old and that noise is absolutely not tolerated after 11:00 p.m.

To rent equipment for bikes, snowboards, paddle boards etc, ask at the Wakefield Expeditions center and they also offer delivery of larger summer equipment such as canoes, kayaks etc.

The chalet is very close to Ottawa! 35 minutes by car.

It is also close to many things to do or visit. Arbraska Cavernes Laflèche Aerial and zipline park, Mont Cascades water park, Eco Odysée, Moulin Wakefield Mill Hôtel & Spa and popular pubs in Chelsea. Jump to the covered wakefield bridge. Go skiing at Camp Fortune, Edleweiss or Vorlage. Cross-country skiing at Nakkertok.

You have access to the entire chalet, the dock and the outdoor area. 5 adults, 2 children life jackets are provided. Please, avoid noise after 11 p.m. There is 5 parkings available.

The owner will most of the time greet you during your stay.

The internet connection is unlimited high speed internet (15mb/sec).

Take note that you can`t bring your own watercraft on the lake.

La vue et l’accès au lac sont parfaits, que ce soit du très grand patio, de la petite terrasse de côté ou directement du quai. C’est définitivement l’atout de cette propriété. La maison est chaleureuse mais manque d’amour à certains égards. Aucune lampe dans une des chambres, équipement de cuisine usé, portes difficiles à fermer etc, environnement extérieur défraîchi par endroits … il y a moyen de passer du bon temps et de profiter des lieux mais il faut savoir à quoi s’attendre. La propriétaire est sympathique et réactive et les lieux étaient propres à notre arrivée.

We had a wonderful stay - loved the different areas, the morning sun by the firepit, mid day sun on the patio and dock. We had an amazing sunset one evening as well. Wonderful water. Peaceful. Comfortable. Would come back.

Great cottage getaway

Had some family visit from out of the country and had a great experience here. Rooms were great and the cottage amenities were fantastic. Dock was set up for us to enjoy. I think the BBQ might need replacing (was hot mostly in one spot so was tricky to cook chicken for a group) but other than that a great stay and would definitely come back!

Summer Vacation week

The cottage location was great as only a short drive for us. Near enough to the village but far enough away for privacy. Two issues with the cottage that impact the rating are the bathroom door does not shut without being slammed - it needs to be sanded and rehung. This is a major thing as we had to use a piece of duct tape to hold the door shut for privacy. Second thing is the air conditioner blasts the cold air into the stairwell going to second floor so the rest of the house gets minimal cooling but the stairwell and the bathroom are very cold.

Franz family cottage holiday.

Very nice cottage. Water pressure could have been better re shower and kitchen faucet, otherwise everything was excellent. Steps to dock very narrow and a handrail would be good for seniors. A chair in the master bedroom would have been appreciated.

It Really is a Paradise

This was our second stay here. Don't hesitate to rent this cottage. This remains one of my favorites. The bathrooms and beds were clean and tidy. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, cups, cutlery, cooking utensils, pots, pans, baking pans, spices, everything as though you lived there. We love the location and setup of the firepit! Wood already there, you don't have to bring any. We will definitely be booking here again. Communication with the owner was easy and they are responsive.

An excellent cottage experience

This four-bedroom cottage was clean, had modern appliances, was roomy (kitchen, dining, living) and the views of Lac St. Pierre from, numerous rooms were spectacular. Swimming and boating were excellent. We recommend this location.

A very well appointed cottage in a very beautiful location. Couldn't have asked for more. Will definitely return. But next time it will be for the fall colors.

Booking again for next year already

Booking was easy. All messages sent to the owner were always replied to within an hour. We all enjoyed the new dock, clean refreshing lake water, available watercrafts, tv with all subscriptions (Netflix, Disney+, etc), great deck overlooking the lake and of course the firepit! Only improvements would be relabelling the stove, since some of the markings have been scrubbed off (meaning the cleanliness was top notch). The fan in the upstairs bathroom wasn't working, but they're gonna fix that.

Blue paradise did the trick we relaxed

Definitely enjoyed our stay here. Couple little things. The handles on the cabinets kept following off throughout the house. The stove didn’t have dials that you could see temperatures (low to high). The umbrella on the deck was broken and we couldn’t find switches for the outdoor lights. The owners must have a dog or dogs some pet hair remained throughout so if you have allergies I wouldn’t book here. The host was great checking in was easy.

Ideal Location

This lakefront cottage is very private and offers beautiful views of the lake from many windows and the large deck with access to docks just a short walk to the shore. It has everything you need for a peaceful and relaxing getaway!
