The view was beautiful! We had some cleanliness issues that the property owner addressed with a slight reimbursement. The owner was very prompt in communication and easy to talk to. Had elderly family members with us so it was a quiet, peaceful trip that we enjoyed. Had games and puzzles which we appreciated.

Quiet, simple getaway

Level property so walking to dock was easy. Quiet neighborhood, plenty of wildlife to enjoy. Clean home, just the right amenities for us. A bit off beaten path but adequate stores and restaurants for our needs. Had a relaxing visit.

True Southern Comfort

It was a quiet piece of paradise on the beautiful banks of Lake Seminole. My whole family really enjoyed the quiet serenity of the rental. Although the bass didn’t cooperate, we still got to step back and remove ourselves from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Would definitely recommend this rental if you’re looking to get away.

Great Property

Ryan was very informative and easy to communicate with. House was perfect. Very clean and accommodating. Location was exactly what we hoped for, and everyone commented on how this rental was well taken care of. I highly recommend Southern Comfort for anyone wanting to fish or just relax.

Absolutely Recommend!

This place was wonderful. Clean, and well kept. The lake was easily accessible with a covered dock and slip for 2 boats. Neighbors were really friendly and loved showing off the catch from the day. We sincerely enjoyed staying here and hope to stay again in the future.

Family Reunion

We traveled from Rochester New York to Bainbridge Georgia for the Thanksgiving holiday which was also our family reunion this year. The home was immaculate. Very clean fully stocked with games for the family, washcloths, laundry detergent for any clothes that were dirty, Wi-Fi access, a boating dock for fishing that we took full advantage of. Ryan was very responsive and also provided everything that we needed prior to our arrival in Georgia. I give this stay five stars plus another five stars and we will be returning next year to enjoy a summer at the lake.

Comfortable lake house with easy access to dock. Beds were very comfortable and place had everything you would need. Very restful stay as we had evacuated from FL. Good communication with host.

Wonderful lake house

The view from the living room and sun room were beautiful. Fishing from the dock was not great, but could have been the weather. A dehumidifier might help in the living room and a propane grill would aid in outdoor cooking. But it was fun "roughing" it by using charcoal instead of propane. My wife and i had a good time.

Hi, my name is Ryan. I am an Airforce veteran and an avid bass fisherman. Lake Seminole is one of my favorite lakes; and I have fished more tournaments on this lake than I can count! My wife, Angie and I have three children. We currently live in Crestview, FL. When Southern Comfort Lake House isn't booked, we will often come up with the kids to enjoy some fishing and R&R. We hope you enjoy staying there as much as we do! Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your stay more comfortable.

5 minutes from Big Jim's boat ramp. Oversized Covered Boat Dock holds 2 Bass boats, with running water, fish cleaning area & electricity for charging 12-24 volt batteries. Additionally, batteries can be charged from back porch or front shed.
