There’s no better location for a Hot Springs, AR getaway than this recently remodeled, 1900 sq ft, 3-bedroom, 2-bath home, sitting on 6 secluded acres, just a short drive away from top area attractions! The mountain views are breathtaking. It's not unusual to see deer from the kitchen or master bedroom windows. Enjoy the new fire pit area and outdoor seating.

Nature Paradise

This property is stunning. We not only had a great time downtown Hot Springs, but we had a great time just exploring and walking about the property. The home, property, and amenities were as described in the posting. The home was immaculate and very welcoming with snacks (for both human and our fur baby), cold bottled water in the fridge, and fresh home baked cookies! The drive into downtown Hot Springs was about 10-15 minutes. The Gulpha Gorge campground is a quick drive right down the road. You can hop on the Gulpha Gorge Trail and hike into downtown Hot Springs if you are up for it! We traveled with 4 adults, 1 toddler, and 1 dog. We all had enough space in the home to be comfortable. If you do travel with your pup, consider bringing a dogbed or blanket for them to lay on. Dogs are not allowed on the beds. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Hot Springs!

Beautiful escape

The girls had a wonderful time at this place. They said it was more beautiful than the pictures showed. Even though the weather was stormy they had a phenomenal time and really enjoyed staying here. Definitely worth the experience!

Beautiful views

We had a wonderful stay! The house was clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. The views were absolutely stunning—perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Everything was just as described, and we truly enjoyed our time here. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again!

Spring Break with a View

This home was perfect for our family of 5 (plus a dog) but could easily have fit 2-3 more people. Mindy was fantastic with all the small details and information, and nothing I say could justify how beautiful the property and home is. The views are spectacular. The outdoor space with a fire pit, bbq, open flat green, tree swings, woodland trails, hammock and all the rest of it just provides everything you need, no matter the mood. We’ll be back!

Couldn’t have been any better

We arrived at night to a well lit clean house with 0 issues getting in !Woke up to that view surprised me loved the place wouldn’t stay any place else while in hot springs!

Cozy by the fireplace !

The property was perfect. We stayed for our anniversary. Mindy even had an anniversary flag in the yard for us and cookies on the table. So sweet. It was cold outside but the gas fireplace was very cozy. We enjoyed the beautiful views and the visting deer. We brought our dog who loves the outdoors and nature so naturally she had a great time as well. Had a blast at the casino. Overall the home was clean and very nice. Thanks !

Christmas Vacation

The pictures don’t do it justice! The beautiful Ott House is well maintained and well furnished. If you enjoy “tree bathing” - this is the spot for you! Located on a mountain overlooking Hot Springs, the home is at the end of a dead end road. The owners were very responsive when the electricity went out (transformer problems) and the gas-burning fireplace kept us warm until the power was restored. This is by far the nicest place we have stayed in!

Beautiful ridge top property minutes from downtown hot springs

This property was absolutely beautiful. It sits on a secluded ridge. The front of the house has a beautiful expansive view for sunrises and sunsets, and the back of the house is more forested for a peaceful and private feel. The indoor gas fireplace was highly convenient for some chilly nights. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Our teenagers enjoyed the layout of the house with bedrooms and a small tv room on the opposite side from ours. The kitchen was very well stocked with all the things and some cooking basics like oil, salt, pepper, coffee filters, etc.. The property is easy to find and is located under 10 minutes from downtown hot springs. Very convenient for eating out and hiking in the National Park.

Weekend getaway

Great house, great location, great view! Brought my family and parents for 3 nights (4 adults/1 toddler/1 baby/2 dogs). House was up on a hill with a great view and then woods on the backside of the house. Kids and dogs loved running around the property.

Fall Break Getaway

This house was perfect for our group of 4 adults/4 kids (age 10-13). Beautiful view and plenty of space indoor/outdoors for all of us to enjoy. The house comes stocked with everything you need and the hosts were excellent. The location was close to everything in Hot Springs but far enough out of the hustle/bustle of the main downtown area. We would definitely stay here again and couldn't recommend this place enough!

Little slice of heaven

We went for a family vacation with our dog and we can’t wait to return in the future! The pictures don’t do the Ott House justice for how beautiful this property is. Lots of deer and other animals paid us a visit too. Mindy was very responsive, check in/out was easy, and her cookies were delicious.

What a gem

Trip 2.0 This place was absolutely a gem! Way more house than the 3.5 of us needed. Let me start off by saying sometimes you see pictures of rooms and spaces and they are considerably smaller in real life than the picture you looked - this is not the case! Everything was immaculate! Plenty of space to lounge around, or play in the yard. Super quick drive to down town hot springs. Now on to the kitchen, it’s not a kitchen that you “have to make do with”, what you have, it’s a kitchen that has everything! More culinary tools than I’ve ever seen at a rental. My daughter’s favorite parts were the swings out front, and the new books she’d never been read. Our favorite things were being so secluded, and so close to so much! 10 out of 10, highly recommend!!

Lived up to Expectations!

My family and I came for a week getaway from TX. I saw all the great reviews and wondered if the house would live up to the hype; it did! The house was beautiful with all modern updates. However, the best part is the view! It would be hard to find a better view in Hot Springs! You are at the top of a hill in a very private location. (There are neighbors down the hill, but you can't see them from the house.) The house was VERY clean and offered everything you could need. The owners provided everything you would expect from a hotel suite instead of a VRBO house: hand soap, dish soap, shampoo, laundry soap, toilet paper, and paper towels. They even provided name brand tissues (better than most hotels I've stayed at!) They also had board games and a grill and bocce ball set outside. We had to look up how to play bocce ball, but it was fun! It was a gorgeous place to get away, have privacy, and quality family time. We are hoping to come back here soon! We also liked that we could bring our dog! Our little wiener dog liked exploring the large back yard. Hot Springs tip: we went to the Lake Ouachita State Park which is 30 min. away. The lake is beautiful and the park has nice swimming areas. The one we went to didn't allow dogs, but we found out the others did. The second day we went there, we rented a pontoon boat at a reasonable price and it we had so much fun boating and tubing!

Unforgettable Experience

We had a wonder time. The house was beautiful plenty of room and very comfortable. It was in immaculate condition and the view was amazing. The outside bbq grill made us feel right at home, the fire pit was a hit and the swings kept the kids entertained. It was our first trip to Arkansas so we were unfamiliar with the attractions so we enjoyed the house accommodations. The host was amazing and they think of everything like leaving us cookies and items in the home to make you more comfortable during your stay. We also enjoyed deer watching at night they do come out we sat very still and quiet to see them. Definitely recommend and we will be back!!!!

Second time to stay

This house is absolutely beautiful inside and out!! Mindy and Jon really take care of their house. This was our 2nd time to stay and was exactly like the 1st time. It is immaculate inside which we truly appreciate. The view from the kitchen is beautiful. We saw several deer running in the woods. We stay here to go Jeeping at the off-road park, which is just 12 minutes away. The house is better than it's described. We hope to stay Thanksgiving 2025, weather permitting. Thank you Mindy and Jon for your outstanding hospitality!!!

Amazing!

My family and I had an amazing vacation in Hot Springs. The mountain views were amazing! It was so peaceful and relaxing. My parents enjoyed the movie room and the beautiful scenery. The hospitality was great and our host had fresh baked cookies on the table when we arrived! Every room was filled with amenities and the beds were comfortable. We will definitely stay at this gorgeous mountain home when we return to Hot Springs in the future!
