First timer for a rental like this. I couldn't have ask for anything better except for the weather. Everything was a 10 . The host responded to emails promptly. Highly recommend the "Cozy Cottage"

It’s a nice cozy little cottage on the river. I was in town for a wedding and it was rainy all weekend and this spot was a comfy place to come back to to get out of the cold and wet. Will come back, will recommend to people I know.

Wonderful riverfront and beach area. The host was wonderful to work with, especially given it was a last minute booking and extremely fair and generous. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Very private, and quiet.

Great Getaway

Had a great weekend on the river and staying here. Host was absolutely the best and the cabin kept everyone entertained. Will rent here again next year

Great little cottage.

Our family enjoyed our stay here. The setting was beautiful on the river with lots of yard space and the bonfire was great at night. We had everything we needed.

Great little place for our family vacation. Being right on the river was convenient for fishing and tubing. The host was flexible as well. Everything was great! Enough supplies stocked up. WiFi is ok. It works! Lots of games for the kids and toys. The backyard is large but there is a hill right off the porch so older adults may not make it down to the water. A ton of flies so make sure to bring fly traps. It’s also very hot in the cabin and dark. You don’t get much light and there is no air and the fans they supply need upgraded. Old box fans. There are ceiling fans in each bedroom though so huge plus to that. Feels cooler in the rooms than the living room and kitchen. A ceiling fan would help. Other than the hill in the backyard that is a bit of inconvenience and the hot house, it was perfect! We will definitely be back!

The cabin is very clean, comfortable and with everything you may need. The view of the river is great.I agree with bringing bottled water as the first day there was an unpleasant odor. That said, no issues with water on day 2.This place likely can’t be beat for a summer stay or as a hunters upgraded cabin.

Great secluded cottage right along the river!

The cottage had 3 spacious bedrooms, a full kitchen, and a gas grill. It has a private beach located on the beautiful Muskegon River. The owner had a great suggestion for tubing down the river which my party all enjoyed thoroughly. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a secluded waterfront getaway!
