Bethany beach condo

We had a great time. The only downside was the outside pool was shut down in our unit. That was not disclosed. We were able to go to the inside pool and spa next door

Almost 5 stars!

The vacasa representative we spoke to told us all the pools would be open during our stay, which was not accurate. The kitchen needs updating as far as appliances and pots/pans. Otherwise, the property was clean, the view was great, and we had everything we needed for a successful weekend getaway. We would definitely stay again!

It needs some attention

We stayed here last year, and came back this year. Unfortunately, things have gone downhill somewhat. The door to the laundry area nearly fell on top of one of us as we went to open it. We reported it, and had to move the door to the floor of the bedroom. The master bath has a lot of mold and mildew around the tub. We love staying at Sea Colony, but next year we will be staying in a different unit.

Disappointed from the start

We arrived to find Dirty linen bags outside our door. Not a great start but then when we got inside the unit it did not appear to have been completely cleaned-food on the ground around the DR table, dust on tv surfaces, food/grease stains all over the kitchen. We notified someone & were told they would come clean the unit; no one came. We cleaned the unit ourselves. The unit needs a lot of attention-dishwasher basin was full of food, handles were off dressers w/screws sticking out, black mold all the way around the tub, screen ripped on the door to balcony, door off the nook to the washer/dryer-just leaned against the wall, master bed not made, screen completely missing off window to the master, stains all over the carpet, extremely dated/dirty appliances and a broken picture frame leaned against the wall. We have stayed at sea colony in the past and really enjoy the area but we were very disappointed with this unit and experience.

Served its purpose, but could use some TLC

Ocean view but you don’t see sunrise in the summer (June). The unit serves its purpose as we really enjoy being close to the pool and beach. The unit could really be drastically improved with some small upgrades to it.

Lovely Condo

We loved the decor and the view was great! It’s very close to the beach and within walking distance to restaurants. We loved watching the sunrises from the balcony. There is some opportunity for improvement though. The daybed mattress is not very firm and doesn’t give any support. The curtains in the 2 bedrooms that face the walkway don’t close all the way, so people can see into the rooms as they walk past. Also, the sliding door to the balcony is very difficult to open and close. Overall, the positives outweigh the negatives, and we would stay here again.
