Enjoyable Studio

The space, amenities, central location and comfortable furnishings suited us well. This is a a good central location in a lovely neighbourhood, perfect for exploring the city afoot or by using transit. We enjoyed our stay.

Great location

We have stayed in Paris to I've times and this was the best location. The studio was neat and clean but lacked a closet so clothing had to be used out of the luggage. For a six night stay there was one towel per per person.

This was a great location for us. All the sites were either within easy walking or we had easy access to the Metro line. Good food street market twice a week and good access to local grocery stores.

We liked the area and the convenience of where the bus and Metro line were. There were many restaurants and cafes in the area. The property was noisy as workers were jack hammering concrete just outside the apartment windows at 8am. The communication with the host was poor as we had to go through VRBO to get the access instructions which were not straight forward. We had to go to a market on another street to pick up the keys.

Great communication

I did not get to stay at this location. I had other plans that got in the way. However I received a full refund and the owner of the property was so commutative and truly a sympathetic to my change of plans. I truly appreciate her promptness and understanding because life happens! When I return to Paris I would love to try and stay here since the host was so kind.

October in Paris

This is a lovely apartment in a nice residential area. There is a store, restaurants and Metro nearby. Our host was so kind to wait for us when our train to Paris was almost 2 hours late. We have never had an induction cook top before and owner proptly answered our text for help. If you are handicapped, you should know that there are step up to the apartment. Only 1 key, so you have to guggle its use if you are going out separately. Enjoyed our stay!

Location! location!

Wonderfully located in Montparnasse area, this quiet apartment in a residential building looks out over an inner courtyard. The apartment is not very luxurious but has everything you need. It feels a bit like staying at a family members apartment, with personal items and pictures of the kids in the cupboard, and a cat climbing feature in the middle of the room. We went just before the Olympics so it was quite pricy. Tips for the owner: Some space to hang our clothes would have been nice. The bed could be better, the mattress is very soft (personal preference of course). And perhaps the place can be cleaned out slightly so it feels less stuffy.

Lots of clutter

The location was good, too much nonsense clutter in the apartment. Be very aware of just how quiet you are asked to be! My husband and I could not even have a conversation without the neighbor next to us banging on the wall. Very awkward and it was not late at night or too early in the morning. The accommodations were ok but not worth all the banging on the walls. FYI, we are not loud ppl, it was ridiculous. We could hear them at times but NEVER banged on the wall, unacceptable.

Not my favorite

I don’t think it was worth what I paid. Dust was excessive. No place to hang clothes. Only 2 bath towels for 9 nights. Neighborhood was great, metros close by. The people sleeping on mattresses at the front steps of the keyed entrance were very nice, however it did startle my daughter a bit when we had to enter the first night. Construction in the courtyard woke us up in the mornings, but we needed to get up anyways I guess lol. Mosquitos were a probelem Since there was no air conditioning and no screens on the windows. Won’t stay there again.

Not the apartment or host I expected.

Look at the apartment; it looks lovely. It has two large closets and lots of clean spaces, with no confusion or detritus scattered about. Not what we found. Both closets were chained and locked shut, and personal belongings, including a large two story cat tree, a big vacuum, an ironing board and a large shopping cart were in the living/bedroom. The furniture was not well dusted and two cleaning wipes, dirty and used, were left out in the kitchen. I had asked several times for directions to the apartment as we needed to find our way there from elsewhere in Europe. The "host" did not tell me that I had to get the keys from a grocery store a block away until the last minute. Maybe not a big deal for others but I would not have chosen an apartment with a remote key pick up if I had known. When I voiced my objections I was told that I wasn't cordial and that I expected a red carpet. We had just left a less expensive apartment in the heart of London that met our expectations, but not this one. I felt baited and switched.

Don’t throw your money to the toilet

This was the worst experience in my life. I rented this place for 3, two adults and a child of 11. We arrived, and it was only one bed (first alarm...as my reservation was clearly for 3) I was expecting a bed under the bed or in the large wardrobe, but only a foldable pillow not capable of receiving a kid (no bed sheets, not towels for 3). I tried to make it happen with the host, asking to adapt it, but it was a lost way. In fact the host blamed Vrbo for showing the place for 3. There were other minor (not so minor) things I would have let pass, as the fully stained carpet, the dirt and cat hair everywhere, the furniture in bad conditions, the lack of place to hang clothes. But not having the minimum accomodations I paid for made it impossible. So, we left the property, and started to search for another one. Fortunately we found another one in the same day (not without losing one day and going through the stress of not having where to sleep) and submitted a claim to Vrbo. Guess what? Even if submitted all the required documentation and their promise is "your purchase is protected" they declined it. Summarizing, there are other options better than this one and the rental company. Meanwhile I'm escalating this to a legal level. Again...don't waste your money. This was the only bad experience of our vacations.

Grosse déception

L’accĂšs, par un escalier en colimaçon, est mal commode. C'est trĂšs pĂ©nible de hisser ses valises jusqu’à l’entrĂ©e. Difficile pour une personne corpulente ou ĂągĂ©e. Impossible par un handicapĂ©. L’appartement est mal insonorisĂ©. Pendant un sĂ©jour de 12 nuits, les voisins ont tambourinĂ© 3 fois dans le mur mitoyen et sont venus se plaindre Ă  la porte de l’appartement, mĂȘme si, Ă  80 ans passĂ©s, nous ne menons pas une vie tapageuse... Ils ont affirmĂ© devoir se plaindre rĂ©guliĂšrement du bruit, ĂȘtre en conflit avec les propriĂ©taires et s’ĂȘtre plaints Ă  la police. Il y a deux grandes armoires, mais rĂ©servĂ©es aux besoins des propriĂ©taires et cadenassĂ©es. Il n’y a rien de prĂ©vu pour suspendre les manteaux, les robes ou les pantalons, pas mĂȘme un simple portant. Le seul meuble disponible pour ranger du linge est une vieille commode, dont les tiroirs sont trĂšs difficiles Ă  manoeuvrer. La douche, surĂ©levĂ©e, est difficile d’accĂšs, en sortir peut ĂȘtre pĂ©rilleux, d’autant plus qu’il n’y a pas de descente de douche. Pour un sĂ©jour de 12 nuits, nous n’avons eu droit qu’à une serviette de bain par personne. Pas de serviette de toilette ni de gant. Le lave-linge Ă©tait occupĂ© par les draps des clients prĂ©cĂ©dents, oubliĂ©s sans avoir Ă©tĂ© sĂ©chĂ©s. Nous n’avons donc pas pu l’utiliser. Il n’y a pas de table Ă  manger, seulement une table basse et deux fauteuils bas, ce n’est pas pratique pour prendre des repas mĂȘme lĂ©gers. Le tapis est sale. Une seule clĂ© est fournie, deux seraient nĂ©cessaires.
