A delightful five-nights in this beautiful, super-comfortable, light-filled house on a secluded, spacious lot near the center of the island. A great set-up in the kitchen for a family of fine cooks. We enjoyed drinks one evening around the outdoor fire pit. We love Block Island and have visited as a family for many years. We’d happily stay in this house again.

Beautiful and immaculate house in a gorgeous property. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable living room and cozy bedrooms. Would definitely stay here again. Host was extremely helpful when we had questions about the house and flexible with check out. Amazing stay!

Lovely home on a secluded spot with nature all around. Well stocked, clean, bright, and stylish. Beds are comfortable, living spaces open and inviting. Great communication with host before arrival and he was accessible if we needed anything while there. Definitely recommend.

A beautiful property that offers privacy, striking design and beautiful vistas of the island and ocean. The sunrise and sundown views are spectacular and enjoyed from everywhere in the house. Did not see another property on Block Island comparable to this one. Matthew is a true "host" and excels at easy communication and accommodating his guests requests. We look forward to our return!

Great house!

Great, clean, new home rental! Private setting with firepit, gas grill and excellent amenities. Would stay there again in a heartbeat. Exactly as described and expected. Awesome time!

Island House is fabulous! The home is beautiful, comfortable and well appointed. The setting is lovely with beautiful views and lots of outdoor space to sit and relax. Communication with the owner was easy and he was very responsive...both ahead of the stay and during the stay. I would not hesitate to rent this home again and will recommend it to friends who are looking for a place on Block Island.

Best House on The Block!

If VRBO would allow me to give more than 5 stars, I would do it! Modern, clean, brilliantly architectured home, with first class treatments throughout. Home sits high on a hill, providing privacy and a peaceful island setting. Inside, all state-of-the-art designed amenities - the kitchen has high end appliances - perfect for cooking great meals; bedrooms are extremely comfortable and the views from the floor to ceiling windows are picturesque. My family spent Columbus Day weekend hiking nearby trails, bike riding to nearby beaches, catching glorious sunsets, and then coming back to the Island House to cook on the new Weber grill and enjoy the outdoor deck furniture. The host is gracious and responsive. We've stayed at many homes on the Block over the years - this house, is by far, the finest! Congratulations to the hosts - you've designed the perfect Block Island home!
