We arrived a few hours early only after receiving the go ahead from the host. There was a car in the driveway, the front door was unlocked and the code did not work(we were told to use the #after the code, the keypad did not have a #). We called the host to find out it was her husband’s car. No biggie we waited until he walked over , we backed out of the driveway to allow for him to move his car. The door was left unlocked by the cleaning service, so ok now we feel comfortable to unload and take in our luggage in. We noticed the house seemed to be in order however not real clean. The stove top had not been cleaned since the last time used. Paper and debris under the kitchen table. Toothpaste and hair in the bathroom sinks…. Appeared to be hair, small bugs in the bathtub. The tub did not drain so when showering you had to stand in inches of water. The bathroom sink did not drain as well. The extra liens were waded up and stuff in a wardrobe in the bedroom. We called the host and she was very disrespectful, rude and loud. She did not offer for anyone to come take care of the issue or the cleaning fee refunded . Actually we never heard from her after our first call to her. I DO NOT Recommend this rental! Very poor service! Oh, and the patio furniture…. The table and chairs completely covered in rust, The cushions stained, old just not suitable to sit on!

Beautifully-decorated.

We stayed here for the Moon Pie 5K and 10 miler. It was so convenient being walking distance to the start line. The house is decorated in such a cute retro style. My granddaughter loved the bunkbeds. The master bathroom is huge.

Great overnight stay

House was just as advertised. Group of friends playing golf stayed there overnight. Property was just like the pictures. Nice quiet area. Beds were very comfortable. Check in was super easy

Basketball weekend turned vacation!

We decided to rent this house for our weekend stay for our travel basketball tournament, Showtime Shootout in Shelbyville. The house was so perfect and made the weekend feel like a little getaway. Bell Buckle was such a quaint town, and the famous Bell Buckle Cafe did not disappoint! We will certainly be back!

Weekend wedding

Perfect place for my sister, our parents and my dog. My nephew got married at the White Dove Barn. It was an easy 15 minute drive to the venue. The house was charming and clean. Nicole was a pleasure to deal with and everything was super easy. As an added bonus Bell Buckle is the sweetest little town with a cute downtown area. We did discover that my dog found the main room way too stimulating when left alone and turned into a barking maniac. But thankfully we discovered that the day before the wedding so crated her in the bunk bed room with shades down, lights off and sound machine playing and she was quiet as can be. Everyone had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

RC Cola Moonpie Festival Getaway

To be perfectly honest with respect to online accuracy - Nicole's home was actually better than described and perfect for us in every way. We were visiting for the annual RC Cola and Moonpie Festival and wanted a comfortable place near downtown that would allow our service dog. Nicole's house was roughly two blocks from 5K/10 Mile Run Start Line and four blocks from downtown Bell Buckle. The house itself was charming with extremely comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen and a relaxing front porch. The enormous backyard gave my dog plenty of room to stretch her legs. My wife and her friend loved colors, decorations, furnishings and all of the other things that make a vacation home comfy and relaxing. Our only disappointment was that we were only able to stay for one night, but if we return for next year's festival this will be the must stay location for us. Nicole also did a great job communicating with us from the time our request was accepted to the time we checked out. A couple of things to remember. If you have special dietary needs/requirements the dining options are limited so you might want to plan ahead like we did and plan on cooking your meals. Like I said, Nicole had everything we needed kitchenwise and provided coffee for us - always a plus. If you want a nice variety of coffee, muffins, pastries and other breakfast items be sure to check out the coffee shop and reading room downtown. Very good fare. Thanks Nicole for a lovely weekend.

The location was just what we were looking for, the property was immaculate when we arrived, and the owner was very responsive. Five stars all the way around!
