2nd floor right over the pool, the little ones will love it! This seaside themed studio is located in a beach-front mid-rise on South Thomas Drive. This unit sleeps 4 on 2 queen beds. Fire Department regulations limit the occupancy in our unit to 4. No pets. Our condo has a fully-equipped kitchen with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishes and pots and pans. The condo features WIFI, 50-inch Smart TV, sitting area with couch and recliner, and a dining are with seating for 4. Please note, there are no private balconies at Top of the Gulf. THIS UNIT DOES NOT HAVE A PRIVATE BALCONY.

Our complex has been undergoing a lot of renovations and it shows! Come sit in our big chair, look for the turtles in our pools, and sit up on our roof-top deck at sunset! Shuffleboard? The kids love it and corn hole games are available. Our game room features complimentary games (children must be accompanied by an adult.). Top of the Gulf is the condo that just keeps getting better and better.

This unit is suitable for 4 people. Primary renter must be 21 years of age. No smoking of any type, including vaping. No pets.

The condominium is located in the heart of Panama City Beach, and is within walking distance to Pineapple Willie's, Juan Taco, shopping, golfing, and other activities. The primary renter MUST be 21 and occupying the unit. No absentee renters, this is strictly enforced by the HOA and Drivers' Licenses are checked in the HOA office.
This condominium unit is a NON-SMOKING Unit. This includes vaping, medical marijuana, and e-cigarettes. (Smoking allowed in designated outdoor areas.) Smoking in the unit, or any other deviations from the rules of Top of the Gulf (including failure to occupy the room without advanced notice) will lead to a forfeiture of the deposit. We do not allow pets. By sending the deposit, you are agreeing to these simple conditions.

Parking is limited to one vehicle per unit. Off-site parking is available. https://www.passportinc.com/blog/panama-city-beach-introduces-passport-parking-app/ Resort/Parking Passes and wristbands are issued in the HOA office for a $30 cash-only charge. Beach towels are not provided.
This family oriented condominium complex has a large pool, baby pool, seasonal snack bar, and a massive sundeck overlooking one of the most beautiful beaches on the Emerald Coast.

Come on down and get away. Don't spend all your money on a big condo that you're only going to sleep in, save that money and spend it on the restaurants, Zooworld, Gulfworld, and the other sights around!

We enjoyed our stay. In the evenings we would go to the 7th floor common area - the views were fantastic.

Top of the gulf stay

We had a relaxing and enjoyable vacation! My children loved the pool and we loved that there was not to much chaos at the elevators; like there usually is at huge hotels.

Definitely worth a stay!!

Everything was exactly as expected from this listing. Cyndi was wonderful with quick communication throughout the entire process and during our stay. It was a deal to be right on the beach, which I should mention was not crowded at all and felt somewhat tucked away from the more populated hotels and whatnot. The room was super cute and comfortable for two, and everything was perfectly clean (I was so relieved when I did a bare foot test that there wasn’t any sand on the floor lol). Top Of The Gulf was an awesome place to stay and I would definitely rent from Cyndi again!!

Wonderful Experience for a Family

The host provided excellent communication! She went above and beyond to use her personal number instead of the app for efficiency. My family especially enjoyed the outdoor game area that included corn hole, a giant connect four game and shuffle board. Snow cones at the snack shack were a huge hit for my little ones. The complimentary beach chair service is a HUGE perk. No one likes lugging chairs and an umbrella to the beach and back again when it’s time to go inside. The surrounding area had a wonderful indoor miniature golf course and arcade I believe that all ages would enjoy.

Clean & cute

Paul Bart( the mall cop) told us to "take it to our room" at 9:30pm when 4 of us were on level 2 smoking area. Felt like a bit much. Met some nice folks. Mother Nature didn't get our vacation schedule but we made the best of it. I appreciated that the Owner was always prompt responding. Hope to return

Not completely happy, but pretty happy

Beds are super soft, so be prepared if you prefer firm. You are charged $20 for a parking pass, which may have been in the original description. They put a Non Removable arm band on you that you just wear at all times. Since it is not removable then you have to wear it every where, not just on this property. I did not like that at all, and think they need to find a better way.

Just right for the Price

Room was just as advertised. It is a little small but you will mostly be outside enjoying the super nice pool and short walk to beach. ( also a snack bar, a little pricey but nice perk) Complex a little older but well taken care of. Noticed workers doing things all week. Having the complimentary beach chair/umbrella service on the beach was a huge bonus not having to lug more stuff to beach. Just your cooler and towels. This part of beach is way less crowded than further down to the left or the right. No problem at all checking in with the nice security guard upon later arrival the first day. ( as long as you pay attention to info and have your $30 cash for parking for the week) Plus, the property workers are sticklers all week for making sure you have your wristband on ( which I think is great!) Cyndi was wonderful communicating when/if needed about the unit. I would definitely rent again

Fantastic Anniversary trip

Top of the Gulf staff were wonderful. Our Condo was pretty. I’m not sure why the bad reviews. Access to the beach was great! Pools very clean has a small one on site for kids. I’m not sure why the people complaining of armbands parking etc and no visitors. Top of the Gulf emails you way in advance. So they should’ve known this. Mrs. Maxwell was fabulous about getting back with m.e. I do plan to return.

Great place on the beach

Condo had everything we needed for our getaway. Short walk to the beach and the chairs and umbrella were a nice bonus! Pool area never seemed crowded and the kitchen was well-equipped. We would stay again 💜 thank you! Very attentive host too 💕

Our stay

A perfect stay for a family of 3.This room has everything you need for a short stay. Easy check in,clean pool area and short walk to the non crowded beach. The owners were very easy to contact although we didn't need to. They had everything nice and clean for us! Would definitely recommend this place and unit!!

Pleasant stay

We had a very pleasant experience here! The beach chairs that come with the room were awesome it was so nice not having to take chairs and an umbrella back and forth from the beach. Room had a good view and was convenient to the elevator but not so close that you hear it every time someone gets on or off. Bathroom was small but we expected that based off of the reviews and photos. Plenty of wash clothes and bath towels. Photos are very accurate and you get exactly what you pay for. The only thing we were not expecting was how many times we had to dump the dehumidifier, we had to dump it 3 to 6 times a day because it was filling up so fast. I would definitely look into getting a larger one that can hold more water at a time

Great studio condo

The condo & property was everything it was supposed to be. We would definitely stay there again. (In fact, we tried to extend our stay, but it was already booked.) Nice pool & area; fairly close to shoreline; beach chairs were a great extra benefit; beds & furniture were comfortable. The ONLY issue was not the fault of the condo or owner: GPS took us to the wrong place (nearby), & the property did not have a sign labeled "Top of the Gulf" (that we could see). The owner's recommendation about the dehumidifier was helpful. Although we had to empty its bucket 3 to 5 times a day, it made a substantial difference in the condo's comfort. OVERALL grade: A

Convenient location but in need up cleaning and upgrading.

The first thing we noticed when we came in was the pungent smell. The neighbor mentioned they had mold on their ceiling and the dehumidifier filled up after just a few hours so there was a huge amount of humidity. Expect to drain the dehumidifier often. Communication with Cynthia was really good and she answered any text I sent. There was some concern at the beginning when we didn’t bring beach towels and she let me know most condos don’t supply but that she would add that to the description for future renters. We had to go to Walmart and make the unexpected purchase. The staff at the location were also very friendly. Issues we had were when we arrived my wife had to sweep the unit because there was sand all over the floor and impossible to walk on without getting all over you. When we left we checked to make sure we were taking everything we brought and also saw that under the beds were very dirty with drink bottles, sand, and paper. The mattresses weren’t comfortable and seemed to trampoline up when someone sat on the other side. You could see them expand up. The shower took some configuring to keep water from coming out the sides of the nozzles while showering. The kitchen was convenient and while we could definitely see the ocean, this unit directly overlooks the pool which takes up most of the view since the unit is on the second floor.

This is a wonderful family-friendly complex. Walking distance to Pineapple Willie's, Alvin's Island, and Signal Hill Golf Course. Our game room is totally complimentary, (adults must accompany children). We even have a great little gym! We love the Big Chair! Corn hole games and shuffleboard available. Check out our over the snack bar roof-top, great to catch the sunset!

More beach for your buck! Top of the Gulf is a smaller complex and our stretch of the beach is rarely crowded. Complimentary beach chairs in season. Our rentals make the beach an affordable vacation reality for everyone!
