Erwin Estate High Point Tower Camping
Welcome to Erwin Estate! Pitch your tent at our Erwin Estate High Point and have access to a table, lookout tower with a swing and fire pit with seating around it. You will meet us at the main house and follow us up to the remote spot in your vehicle where you will have complete privacy to enjoy one of the best views in Arkansas! Best if you have a truck, Jeep or SUV. Low riding cars not recommended.
We've been located here in the foothills of the Ouachita Mountains of Arkansas for over 40 years. Located on our 250 acres is a very unique spot in Arkansas. We call it "High Point" and it is the southernmost highest altitude point in the state. We have a 180+ degree view overlooking Benton to Malvern to Greater Hot Springs.
Cattle roam the pastures in the fields below. Our natural spring pond is a place to fish where it's an almost guaranteed catch as we have stocked it well!
Great for nature, vista, and sunset photography.
Nearby river and lake fishing, boating, canoeing, kayaking 3-15 miles away.
Wildlife sitings: Eagle, White-tail Deer, Wild Hogs, Birds, Squirrel and more.
Onsite catch and release pond bass fishing (bring your own gear).
Bait, gas and convenience store within 3 miles.
Walmart and restaurants 10 miles away.
Kiting is excellent atop High Point with great winds year round.
Star gazing at night with a very romantic sunset.
Novaculite & Quartz geology, mineral exploration. Take home a piece of this mineral rich area of the world! Free rocks to all!
Drone flying is superb!

Major hospital within 13 miles in nearby Hot Springs.
Bath Houses and downtown historical Hot Springs. Music Festivals. Oaklawn Racing & Gaming (horse races and casino) all within 15 min drive.

Note: This is primitive camping with no bathrooms, water or electricity. Nature at it's best! We have 2 little portable potties that are disinfected between campers for optional use positioned behind a privacy tarp.

Hi, I'm Susan Erwin Prowse, the daughter and Mike and Debra Erwin, the property owners. I grew up on this gorgeous slice of heave at the foothills of the Ouachita Mountains in Central Arkansas. My mom and dad love welcoming campers. They have acquired the land over the years starting with just 5 acres in 1976 and now have grown it to 250 acres in Magnet Cove, Arkansas.
