We come to Jackson several times a year to visit family and typically stay at a different rental each time. Golf Creek 44 was very clean, and the kitchen was well equipped to host family meals. Since it’s managed by Outpost, all cleaning and paper products are provided. This property is north of Jackson so a short drive to get into town, but we appreciated away from the hustle and bustle.

Jackson

Great location just outside of Jackson and great unit. Clean and plenty of room for 4. Outpost was very responsive and the unit had everything we needed except groceries, lol. Would recommend this to anyone staying in or near Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Our Teton Trip

A wonderful family vacation to the Tetons ….Very nice place, great location, lots of amenities…however there were a few minor issues. Some blackout curtains in the bedrooms would be a great addition. Loose towel rods in the bathroom, nightstand drawers stuck shut, the front door was difficult to close/lock, a washer that sounded throughout the house, and a dishwasher flopping around…. fortunately all those were easily overcome, although for the price they should be attended too.

Highlights 1. Location: super close to the majestic Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone is about 1 hr away; 15 mins from downtown Jackson 2. Scenic: nice views of Tetons, wildlife (deer, moose) 3. Quiet: tranquil without feeling desolate (there are other units in close by) 4. Child friendly: property is equipped with pack and play and a step stool (which would be helpful for families to know about in advance) 5. Management company is responsive to questions via email What could be improved 6. Cleaning - we were skeptical of the quality of the cleaners -- we found a random tomato on the kitchen counter right when we walked into the house; also one of the pillows in the closet was very obviously NOT laundered (hair from someone who had previously used it). 7. Updating - there are definitely aspects of the house that are more "dated" -- the built-in closets and some of the shutters and blinds could do with repair / replacement 8. The patio table needs an umbrella for shade 9. Stand up shower with the room with a King bed smells mildewy and is quite cramped 10. We found at least 3 different kinds of thermostats on site and it was not clear what they turned on/off. We ended up turning everything off for most of the time we were there. Proper instructions in the handbook (or even just pasted next to the thermostat) would be ideal 11. It would be nice to have some snacks on the property to welcome guests given there isn't a grocery store super close by

Great location, but could use some attention

We enjoyed the location and the house was decently equipped; however the carpet had a lots of stains and our feet got dirty walking around barefoot. It was bad enough that you felt compelled to wear shoes inside all the time. The company that manages the property, responded to my complaint but made no effort to remedy the situation. For the nightly rate and fees, it would be nice if, they were to actually pay to have things cleaned properly and replaced as needed.

Great location, buy very little else to brag about

My family and I were looking for a place to stay for our trip to Jackson/Teton National Park. The location is great - literally 5 minutes from the airport, 15 minutes to Teton National Park and 15 minutes into downtown Jackson. For the price we paid, I was expecting a 5 star place. The pictures give that impression but reality is anything but that. As soon as you walk in the door, you see the heavily stained carpet - right away a turn off. The shower in the master bath had mildew in the corners and along the bottom. The towels were clean, but very low quality. The pillows on the bed were terrible. I woke up with neck pain each morning. No A/C in the unit either. The windows only opened on the bottom near the floor (very weird). Thank God for the fans otherwise sleeping at night would have been a big issue. The unit did have everything you needed in the kitchen and that was clean. We were expecting a top notch place given the price we paid and this was not it. The only reason I didn't rank it lower was due to the location and we didn't spend a whole lot of time in the unit.

Hi Michelle, We are glad to hear that you enjoyed the location of Golf Creek 44, but terribly sorry to hear that you only had a three star stay with us. Since your departure, all carpeting has been professionally steam cleaned. We do this periodically at all of our homes, but need at least 24 hours of drying time between cleans, which makes scheduling a challenge during our peak summer season. Our team also addressed the master shower, and we would have been happy to do so during your stay! We hope that the financial compensation we issued helped to offset these inconveniences. This home, like the vast majority of homes in Jackson Hole, does not have air conditioning, but we're glad you were comfortable with the fans we provided. Absolutely incredible beauty

Good location between Jackson, Teton Village, and the airport. Gorgeous views of the Tetons from the property complex. Large internal living space and deck perfect for our family of five. This was a special vacation for us and it turned out to be one of our best trips!

Great time at a beautiful spot!

Gorgeous views right outside the living room in an awesome place. We saw all sorts of wildlife while sitting on the couch from moose to a fox that must have lived close by. Close to the airport and short trip downtown passing the Elk Reserve. Would love to come back and stay here!
