DIVES SUR MER / PORT WILLIAM. Cottage with 4 main rooms, with a capacity of 6 people, with an area of approximately 66mÂČ, with a magnificent open view of the Dives and access to the swimming pool of the residence.
The cottage includes: a living room/lounge (with flat screen TV) overlooking the garden with a view of Dives and equipped with a barbecue, a semi-open kitchen (with fridge, microwave and conventional oven, 4 induction hobs , a dishwasher and 2 coffee makers (classic and Tassimo)), a 1st bedroom (with a 140x190 bed) with adjoining bathroom (shower and sink); upstairs: a 2nd bedroom overlooking the Dives (with a 160x200 bed), a 3rd bedroom (with 2 90x190 beds), a bathroom (with bathtub and WCs) and a laundry room (with washing machine) . Independent toilets on the ground floor.
A closed box is available to you.
Pets are not accepted in this rental.

Petit cottage qui correspond en tout point à la description. TrÚs bien agencé avec placards dans chaque chambre et 2 salles d'eau.Emplacement top, calme, proche de la plage de Cabourg, avec vue superbe sur la Dives.L'accÚs à la piscine de la copropriété est un vrai plus pour les enfants. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Avec un accÚs WIFI ce serait parfait.

Notre séjour

Lave vaisselle et le four ne sont pas fixĂ©s donc dangereux. La literie des lits jumeaux est trĂšs inconfortable, peut-ĂȘtre pas adaptĂ©e pour des adultes, literie du lit de 160 plutĂŽt ferme. Baignoire dangereuse car pas de tapis antidĂ©rapant, on a glissĂ© plusieurs fois risquĂ© d’accident. Enfin le mĂ©nage moyen car beaucoup de toiles d’araignĂ©es au plafond. Pour finir un peu plus de vaisselle car pour 5 que 4 mugs. Le grand radiateur de l’entrĂ©e ne fonctionne pas. Sinon c’est bien placĂ©.

Belle localisation, adaptée pour une grande famille, un rafraichissement serait cependant nécessaire

Maison spacieuse, bien située et équipée. Elle mériterait cependant un sérieux coup d'entretien et d'investissement. Les stores, les lattes des lits, le systÚme électrique ne sont pas adaptés. Le prix de location au regard de la qualité de la prestation est un peu élevé.

Man sollte eine Beschreibung des etwas gewöhnungsbedĂŒrftigen HaustĂŒrschlosses anfĂŒgen. Nur drei Kaffee-tassen. Die 2 Einzelbetten waren etwas klapprig. Ansonsten alles top!

Great location but in need of a refresh

The property is perfectly situated for all local attractions, history, nature, water sports, restaurants and shops; and for easy access to main routes further afield. It's in an idyllic location with a great walking path around the estuary, over to Cabourg and along to Houlgate. The garden areas were a bonus with a large awning over the terrace overlooking the estuary, and the communal pool was lovely. The welcome arrangement were efficient. The beds were very comfortable and bedding kits were fresh and crisp (although some guests didn't like the square pillows). Living accommodation is great for four adults or a family, but would be less comfortable for six adults. The kitchen is small but has all the appliances needed for self-catering. This is quite difficult to find around Cabourg so is a real bonus. However, much of the kitchen equipment is old and could do with a refresh. The bathroom was a good size, shower room very small, but both are in need of an update. All sanitary ware needs a deep clean and decalcification – it was impossible to get the tiles/bath/sinks properly clean and the shower head sprayed in a number of unwanted directions! The cottage had not been professionally cleaned recently – hair collected in the corners of the bathroom; crumbs on the dining room table under the table mats. This is often a problem where cleaning is an added extra as guests don't want to pay extra, but then don't really want to clean thoroughly before they leave. For location, facilities and comfort (and a garage to park in) I would recommend this cottage, but it is a little tired – with a refresh and deep clean I'd give it five stars.

Idéal pour une famille avec enfants

On a passĂ© un excellent sĂ©jour. Location bien Ă©quipĂ©e. Vue de la terrasse sur la Dive vraiment Ă©patante. On peut jouer aux boules juste devant le jardin, soleil couchant, gĂ©nial ! Petit bĂ©mol Ă©ventuel : maison entourĂ©e d'autres maisons en location Ă  droite et Ă  gauche. Pour nous ça a Ă©tĂ© car les parents des enfants faisaient rĂ©gner une certaine discipline, et c'Ă©tait donc assez calme. Mais en cas d'enfants ou d'ados bruyants, ça pourrait vite virer au problĂšme ... C'est d'ailleurs le cas de la piscine, prise d'asso par les enfants qui empĂȘchent que ce soit un endroit pour se reposer (juste se rafraĂźchir donc, mais c'est dĂ©jĂ  pas mal).
