The Pilot House is a charming, historical guest house that consists of four "hotel style" rooms with a tropical flair. The property has been lovingly restored from the inside out. Each designer room has a comfortable queen size bed, private bath with walk-in shower, vanity sink with storage, smart tv, A/C, mini fridge and microwave. You will enjoy the large deck surrounded by tropical plants and a variety of fruit trees. Relax and connect with the abundance of peace and nature. An amazing place to unwind after your island adventures.

Things to note:

The Farmers Table Restaurant open for breakfast and lunch Tuesday through Saturday , 8:30- 4:30. Dine-in or takeaway.
Pool Passes available for $12.00 per day. Please inquire upon arrival.
Restaurant and pool are within walking distance.

A little piece of paradise

My husband and I were looking to get to know different parts of the island and this was a fabulous stop in the south. Learned a lot about the area from Karin and had a great time.

Perfect for CEI/Island School airport travel

Beautiful, peaceful, clean and calm atmosphere. My 16 year old and I visited my older daughter who is an intern at CEI. We had spent a fantastic week up north and wanted a place for a few nights close to CEI and airport. This is a little oasis just minutes from RSD airport and it made our departure stress free.

Quiet, comfortable house on beautiful island of beaches

This is a former outbuilding on what was once a larger estate. Karen has restored it immaculately. There's a nice deck to have coffee on, new plantings all around, lots of comfortable chairs, and so on. We had had a tough year and were looking for a quiet, beautiful, beach retreat for a few days. For us, the Pilot House on Eleuthera was just perfect. I guess I should note that the house has two unusual features, neither of which bothered us. One is that it has no real kitchen. We ended up getting most of our breakfasts from the rather good cafe a couple hundred yards away on the restored estate -- a fun walk in the morning. (Karen has a Keurig coffee machine and a fridge if you don't want the walk.) The other is that the house is not on the beach proper. We liked that because it means the house is sheltered from the constant coastal wind. In any case, it's only a few minutes from the beach--and the island is full of beaches, most of which were empty or nearly empty when we stayed there, despite it being spring break weekend.

Peace & Tranquility.

Wow. The online photos does not do this property justice. It is a hidden Gem. Away from everything but settlements are nearby and easily accessible. In it's own little private "Piece of the Rock". The property is well maintained and very clean. High end finishes and Karen is amazing. She thought of everything. I will be back.

Very clean and beautiful decorated property , rural location and surrounded by a beautiful garden in natural setting. Located very near Rock Sound Airport and near grocery store and a few restaurants . Host Karen is extremely accommodating and helpful . Easy access and ample parking.
