You'll find a quaint living space with TV, roku, recliner, futon sofa, and large outdoor balcony overlooking the lake. The master bedroom has one queen bed, and an attached full bathroom. Another bedroom has a queen bed, and a third bedroom has a twin bed. The shared bathroom upstairs features a shower. Full kitchen with dining area. The sunroom walks out to a patio, a large grassy backyard, burn pit, and the lake.

The property is just 1-hour from downtown Chicago, but feels like a million miles away. This home boasts clean, minimal-styled spaces perfect for working or studying from home in style. 3 private bedrooms, and quaint living spaces are perfect for quality time and quiet. 200 MBps Wifi shared between two homes. Generous discounts for week-long or month-long stays make this the perfect place to lockdown with your family. The sunroom is currently getting a refresh and the price reflects that condition.

Great escape from the big city!

First and foremost Dan was an amazing host who was very hospitable and was just next door if we ever needed anything. The property was as described in the listing and worked out very well for our party of five adults. Everything was ready for us as we arrived and there were even some welcome snacks on the kitchen island counter. I recommend this lake cottage to anyone who is looking for a weekend getaway as it's only about an hour away from Chicago. Thanks Dan and we really enjoyed our stay at Lake Dale!

Beautiful Lake House

My family and I really enjoyed staying at Dan’s lake house. The house was clean and spacious with spectacular views as well as quiet and peaceful. Our host Dan was friendly and responded promptly to all of our needs. Everything was provided to make our stay an enjoyable one. We would definitely come here again!

Needs some attention

We were excited about the location of the rental on the lake, however, this potentially cute house needs some attention. The pictures did not reveal the very difficult stairs to get to the front door, the lack of upkeep to the landscaping, or the clutter in the home that made it tricky maneuver through. This house needs some love and care, inside and out, and didn't seem as advertised. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, however, we were disappointed in the property for the price we paid.
