Woodsy Coastal Escape

Come get away to a newer home that is nestled between the Atlantic Ocean (8 minute drive) and the Waccamaw River (1 mile).

It is in a quiet and peaceful area (on a dirt road), yet close to amazing restaurants, shops, Myrtle Beach (a half hour north) and historic Charleston (an hour and a half south). This is a perfect neighborhood for those who love to golf, and you are welcome to park your boat in the driveway.

The house and garage are equipped with beach towels, cooler, beach chairs, umbrella, and beach toys for kids. The house also has some board games, puzzles, and DVDs.

The owners might sometimes be staying in the guest house above the detached garage, but you will have the whole house to yourself. The only thing that would be shared would be the garage and maybe a little driveway space. Feel free to use the bicycles in the garage! Make yourselves at home!

Great house

Visiting for a state ball tournament. This house was only a 20 minute drive to the ball fields in Georgetown and close enough to the beach to have a vacation feel. The house was a perfect size for my family of 8. Would highly recommend this house to anyone visiting the area.

Great family getaway

We (four adults) stayed here for two nights to visit family in the area, and couldn’t have asked for a better vrbo experience! The house was spacious and comfortable, and the hosts were responsive and courteous.

The home was even more beautiful in person! The host has taken time to think of all the little things to make your stay great. She was quick to respond to any questions and so pleasant.

Great Place - Very Comfortable

The house was very nice. It's a relatively newly built house so nice open layout, up-to-date design and appliances, and primary bedroom and bathroom are very nice.We enjoyed our time there, liked sitting out on the porch at end of day which was perfect.Also, the beach is a short drive away and the beach was great - plenty of room and water was not too cool.If we go to this part of SC again, we would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay

This property was perfect for our family. Tons of space with everything we needed. Great proximity to Pawleys Island beach, shopping, dining, and the bike path. The hosts were very nice and had great communication. We would absolutely stay here again on a future trip!

Beautiful home. So comfortable and so welcoming. The neighborhood is beautiful.

We had the most relaxing 3 days and, one 1 rainy day we’re so comfortable relaxing here which felt like home. The neighborhood and entire area is beautiful. Jessica and Kevin were amazing hosts. We would stay here again for sure

A little get away in beautiful South Carolina

Amazing home. More than we expected. The master bedroom bathroom/shower was impressive. The house has great natural lighting, quiet neighborhood, plenty of open space indoors and outdoor for family and friends to visit. Near plenty of restaurants and local must do locations. The owners were very attentive and welcoming. We will be back!

A Breathe of Heaven

We were looking for a place that was off the beaten path & loved the house. The feeling of seclusion was so peaceful but super close to the store, beaches, fabulous restaurants & more. Can’t say enough about the house. Charming & all the amenities of home. Thank you!

Great Getaway!!!

This house was clean, comfortable, and large enough for 3 women to enjoy one another’s company yet have privacy when needed. There are a lot of trees so not happy with the spiders that met us…LOL. But we would definitely recommend this property. Though the owners live on the property above the garage, there was no interference or awkwardness.

A Great time!

Booking this property was so easy through this website. It was as simple as selecting the days and then paying for the reservation. The pictures that are given are exactly how the house looks. It was a beautiful home and the surrounding neighborhood was quiet and equally as nice. The owner had great communication and provided us with so many activities that we could do in the town and also the equipment (bikes, body boards, beach toys) to do them. If I make another trip to Myrtle Beach this is going to be my go to place!

Beautiful Home. Very relaxing!

We stayed at Woodsy Coastal Escape to celebrate our granddaughter's 4th birthday. It was myself, my husband, son, daughter-in-law, granddaughter & grandson. We never felt like we were on top of each other. The kitchen is perfect. Has everything you can think of & more. Beds were comfortable, showers great, AC worked perfect. Communication was excellent with the owners. We highly recommend this house. We hope to make it back!

Would definitely rent again!

We had a great 2-night stay at this house! Jess was fantastic…always friendly and prompt with her replies to messages and questions. The house was exactly as described, very clean, and had everything we needed in the kitchen to prepare meals. It was even decorated for Christmas! We would definitely rent this property again when next in the area.
