Great property and space just outside downtown Nashville. Perfect for our weekend visit to our daughter, who is a student in Bloomington. We enjoyed Nashville and the space at this property.

Lovely home, very clean and comfortable. Host stocked plenty of towels and the hot tub worked nicely. Great wifi and nice TVs for the evening. We had a great time in Nashville - the Hard Truth bourbon distillery restaurant was a special treat. Highly recommend visiting this area, and staying with the Hills.

Amazing attention to details, tucked away in the woods while still being conveniently located near town. And as an added bonus the deer visited us everyday.

Great location for doing things in Bloomington and Nashville. The hot tub is on a screened in porch which is fabulous. Lots of games and seating for your group. Very much enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful!

It was a lovely stay! The only thing we had a problem with was the stove and they jumped right on it! Great service! Even though we only heated water for tea I was very impressed on how well the kitchen was stocked. It was a wonderful time.

One of the best I’ve even stayed in!

Such an amazing property! The nature and beauty surrounding the cabin is what makes this place magical. We saw deer and geese wandering around often. The bedrooms are a great size and the place was very clean and cozy! One of my favorite places by far! The staff at the office, especially Tammy & Julie went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable! By far the BEST & friendliest management company I’ve ever experienced!
Loved seeing the deer family often.
Such beauty all around.

House was very nice. Clean, roomy. Hot tub was wonderful. Well appointed kitchen, only wish was that there would have been coffee available. I don’t normally travel with my own and most all vrbo’s I have stayed at have coffee available. Def not a deal breaker and I would certainly stay there again! Had a great girls weekend!

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay at Gimme a Break cabin. We do supply all guests with a list of what to bring, and coffee (filters) is on that list. (On our web site. ) All 117 of the cabins we manage are individually owned and those owners decide what they will supply. Since the cabins are not always booked, we do recommend no "food" type products left in cabins. Thank you for being wonderful guests and we look forward to your booking with us for your next visit.

Girls weekend

Cabin was clean, and just as described online. House well equipped with more than the standard rental. We had a small issue with the fireplace starting, made a call to the check in office and they were there to fix within 30 mins. Great service! Hot tub was clean & working. Wonderful place to stay.

Long weekend

Perfect little house in the woods away from the crowds of Bloomington. Well equipped kitchen for making meals and entertaining. Backyard is fun with the games and fire pit. Hot tub was immaculate. Front porch has a lovely view of the lake. Showers in both bathrooms were a little challenging for our 80 year old family.

Beautiful cabin in a lovely setting

We had an absolutely lovely stay, despite a power outage due to some terrific storms that passed through. Fortunately for us, the power was quickly restored. We thoroughly enjoyed the gas fireplace - made everything feel so cozy! I do wish that we could have checked in without making the additional trip over to the office, which also added time on to our trip back to the airport to drop off the key, but that's a pretty nominal complaint.

Lovely property

It was lovely but the kitchen was full of ants. They were even in the dishwasher. Left no desire to cook food there. And we normally stay in a night and cook. Could not do that this time.

Great stay

We loved the location of this property! Wooded area behind it made it very private and great for enjoying nature by the fire and it was only about 5 minutes from everything in downtown Nashville! Property was clean and stocked with all the items we needed. Plenty of space inside for our girls trip! Staff was all super friendly and helpful. Our only downside was the previous guests broke the hot tub so we weren’t able to use it which we found out upon checkin. Would recommend this property to large families or groups wanting a getaway.
