It would be nice to have coffee/ cream provided at check in. Also more outside seating on the deck. The removal of the extra table on the deck would allow space for this.

Quiet Retreat

Great space. Lots of room for family to gather. Large bedrooms and well-stocked kitchen. Bedrooms were large and roomy and having bathrooms for each bedroom was super nice. Very relaxing and it is great to be so close to a dock and have the beach access, especially in Zephyr Cove where it is tough to drive around and get into the beach areas.

Perfect Summer Lake Vacation!

This was our family's 1st time in Tahoe. There were a lot of rentals to choose from, but we chose this house for several reasons: Private beach access in close walking distance, 3 bed/3 bath, so our two boys could have their own space, and the free use of kayaks and paddle boards. We did not regret our choice.The house is part of a gated/condo HOA. The grounds are clean and beautiful, providing shade, grass, and full of small wildlife: bunnies, jays, geese, & squirrels. The house was 5 min walk to the dock/beach. The beach is perfect for sitting outside to read or to watch the sunset! The beach is small and it's not a great place to layout, however, you can paddle board or kayak about 15-20 minutes to the south to the Round Hill public beach (with Beach Bums restaurant and bar), where they have plenty of sand for laying out, playing volleyball, etc. The house was comfortable and had lots of natural light. The kitchen is modern, with nice appliances. I loved the Keurig/Espresso machine and the Toaster Oven/Air Fryer. The beds and pillows were fine. The master bath is small, to make room for the sauna. If we stay here again, we'd probably take the upstairs room and bath--that's the nicest bathroom in the house. We used the sauna once, but found it didn't get very hot. I imagine this comes more in handy for winter visitors who've spent the day in the snow. The best things about this house are the lake and the unlimited use of kayaks and paddle boards. We used them daily!

Perfect Location for a Relaxing Summer Vacation

This was our family's first time in Tahoe. There were a lot of rentals to choose from in our budget, and although this one was a little more expensive than the others, we chose this house for several reasons: 1) Private beach access in close walking distance, 2) 3 bed/3 bath, so our two boys could have their own space, and 3) The free use of kayaks and paddle boards. We did not regret our choice. The house is part of a gated/condominium HOA. The grounds are clean and beautiful, providing shade, grass, and full of small wildlife--bunnies, jays, geese, and squirrels. The house was less than a 5 min walk to the dock and beach. The beach and dock are perfect for sitting outside to read or to watch the sunset! The beach, itself, is small and it's not a great place to layout, however, you can paddle board or kayak about 15-20 minutes to the south to the Round Hill public beach (with Beach Bums restaurant and bar), where they have plenty of sand for laying out, playing beach volleyball, etc. The house was comfortable and had plenty of natural light. The kitchen is modern, with nice appliances. I especially loved the Keurig/Espresso machine and the Toaster Oven/Air Fryer. I imagine this comes more in handy for winter visitors who've spent the day in the snow and need to defrost The best things about this house are the location/access to/view of the lake and the unlimited use of kayaks and paddle boards. When deciding between this house and a different house, we chose this one because of the kayaks and paddle boards. We used both daily, sometimes multiple times a day, for hours at a time. The extra money we spent on this rental was worth it! We avoided the inconvenience and expense of having to rent and return gear. Obviously, South Lake Tahoe is gorgeous! If you decide to visit, we highly recommend this home for a family summer beach vacation!

It has potential

The home itself is beautifully renovated. Great amenities and location. Unfortunately not very well maintained or clean. Bathrooms were dirty, pet hair on the bedding/couch and pillows, no fitted sheet on the bed just a flat sheet tucked in, thick dust on living room fan, multiple spider webs in the house etc. If the homeowner ever gets a new property management company and cleaner we'd come back. Some FYI's for future guest- They have beach chairs/cooler/ umbrella etc which is great. If you come with your dog, they are only allowed on the private beach Oct-April 30th. The house is a bit dark inside and bedrooms do not have any over head lights. Not a big deal, but was just surprised as the pictures make it look very bright inside but thats not how it actually looks.

Location is great. 5 minute walk to lake, near Heavenly lifts, downtown Kitchen stocked w/ gadgets minus a small cooking pot. Gated community. Only marring events were when power circuit blew in kitchen, had to prove to property manager about devices by sending a pic of air fryer which they apparently didn't know they have on site. When sauna didn't heat up past 70, mgmt wanted picture when i notified prop mgr. Esch time i hsd to justify the problem w/ a picture. Repair person fixed sauna ptomptly but was given incorrect description by property mgr. Pet hairs found in closet blankets when we needed extrs layering-downstairs bedrooms chilly at night.

You are in good hands staying at this A+ property!

Vacasa and the property owners were very helpful during our stay with anything we needed help with. The beach is the best! The sand is soft and fine, not rocky and coarse like the other beaches, so easier on your feet! By far the best place we have rented in all areas of the lake. Thank you for investing in such high quality…well, everything. Even their kayaks were newer and nicer than the others down on the beach. Yes they were already down on the beach ready to go. I almost had to pinch myself.

Quiet getaway

Some pros: quiet and the private beach is just a short walk away. Kitchen was fully equipped. Sauna was a nice touch. The amount of beach items this place came with was nice. Plenty of chairs and water toys like paddle boards and kayaks. Short distance to grocery store and had plenty of shops and restaurants close proximity to property. Cons: because there is no a/c, a screen door for the upstairs sliding door would’ve been nice. Otherwise it gets so hot upstairs and if you leave the door open, you invite some insects inside. The tubes that were provided deflated within minutes of blowing up. One was ripped so we didn’t use it. Checking in, we didn’t have access till about 15-20 minutes after 4pm because the cleaning company was still cleaning. After we got in, the cleaning was very lacking. We cleaned up and threw out the 2 bags of trash from previous people who stayed. Lastly the amount of pollen the was on both decks had accumulated so much you could put a handprint in it. Instead we swept upstairs and downstairs decks so we could use them. Overall loved the area. Was a very nice place.

Beautiful property, with problems

Lovely unit in great location with great amenities. However, upon our late arrival, my daughter found her bedsheets covered in dog hair. She ended up sleeping on top of the bedspread and we spent our first day washing and changing sheets. Finding a dried up contact lens on the nightstand and dirty coffee mugs in the cabinet established the ’ick’ factor that prevented us from feeling comfortable at this otherwise ideal vacation home. We ended up leaving a day early and couldn’t find any check-out instructions; I called the three vacasa contacts on the binder (two numbers were inactive or changed, I left a vm on the third), and called the 1-800 vacasa number and was left on hold for so long I finally hung up. Which is a shame, I would otherwise rate the property very highly but the customer service side of things are what ruined the experience for us.

Beautiful location

We enjoyed access to the beach, and when we had questions we got answers almost immediately. The kitchen is upstairs which you can’t tell from the photos, and the bed in the upstairs bedroom (off the kitchen) was so hard & uncomfortable we ended up moving downstairs. The other 2 bedrooms are downstairs. We stocked k cups for the next guests but I’m thinking it was closed for the winter- there is a keurig and a coffee pot but also a nice Safeway less than a mile away for whatever you might want.

Lovely location

Townhouse is close to Safeway and many good restaurants. Beach access is steps away. Beds are good. Kitchen better stocked than most vacation rentals which makes cooking and dining enjoyable. Would rent this unit again.

Beautiful home on the lake

The location can't be beat. Nice, updated and comfortable home. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was nicely appointed. I strongly recommend this home and will book again without hesitation.

Nice Stay for Heavenly Ski Vacay

The house was comfortable for three couples. In the evening, we enjoyed playing craps in mini coffee table and TV Netflix. Located conveniently 1 mile from Safeway Grocery Store. A short 5 min drive to Gondola and Casinos. There is a bit of a draft from the front door that makes the first floor rooms a bit cooler. After 1st night, we found keeping the doors closed to the rooms was a game changer. The Internet to stream a movie on main TV was good, but not to stream 3 different movies on personal devices at same time, which was ok for us.

Great location - easy access to the beach , downtown and ski areas

Check in was easy and instructions provided were clear. Assigned parking space was easy to find and was full sized (fit our large SUV with no issue) Property was clean and ready at check in time. House was stocked with ample toilet paper, one roll of paper towels a few dish washing pods, and pods for the washer. There are 2 stairs to enter the property and then a full staircase to enter the main living spaces so property not recommended for anybody that has trouble with stairs. We had 2 minor issues that were quickly resolved by the VACASA staff handy man Conor who was very professional and friendly. Condo location was conveniently located 7 min drive into the downtown S Lake Tahoe area and access to ski gondola, restaurants etc. Neighborhood was quiet and peaceful.

Good dog friendly property

The location is great, very short drive to the casinos and Heavenly. The craps coffee table is unique and fun. The property could use a little updating. I took off one star because the quality of the toilet paper and paper towels was very poor and actually notable. Would stay again.
