Thanksgiving getaway
Overall we had a nice stay. The home is perfect for large groups and we never felt on top of each other as there was plenty of spaces to hang out. Iâve listed a few pros and cons belowâŠ
Pros
- plenty of seating and space to hang out
- Each bedroom had itâs own bathroom
- Outdoor spaces were great with plenty of seating
- The dual fridge and oven were perfect for prepping thanksgiving food
- house was very clean
- the double washer and dryer and ice machine were perfect
- loved all the yard games and beach supplies
Cons
- we paid for the pool to be heated and the only day it worked was the first day. We reached out to property manager and asked for someone to come out. We did not see a vendor and there was no follow up. The pool remained cold the rest of our stay
- we paid extra for the golf cart and it came empty. We ended up having to drive our car to fill a canister to come back and fill the cart. I have never rented a car or golf cart that didnât come filled, especially for the price they charged.
- given the occupancy and price of home it would have been nice to have additional toilet paper, soap, paper towels, shampoo, conditioner, tin foil, Serrand wrap, trash bags and beach towels. We were all traveling from different parts of the country so having to purchase beach towels upon arrival was a bit strange, especially for a home that has a pool and is located on the beach.
