This is a beautiful property, a little gem. Very clean, from the cleaning crew to the hostess they were just amazing. The beach sunrise and sunset view was spectacular. Pool was nice, the whole place had a tranquility we were looking for.I definitely recommend it and will be staying again.

Casa Tortuga was perfect for my teen daughter and I for our spring break vacation (we are from cold, snowy northern Michigan). Very cute, cheerful community of studio-style homes in a quiet residential area. It was amazing to be right on ocean - the property is slightly elevated so the views are incredible in either direction. We climbed down the short staircase for some beautiful morning beach walks. I really enjoyed being able to walk along the road into Aguada. Again, a safe and quiet area to stay. The house itself was cute, clean and well-stocked. We liked the curtain to separate the beds, sitting on the porch being visited by the neighborhood cats, and my daughter enjoyed sunning and swimming in the pool. Thank you Casa Tortuga!

Loved This Place!!!

This place is located in a quiet area north of Aguada and close to Aguadilla & Rincon. The house was clean comfortable enough for a family of 3 and had everything that you could need to make your beach adventure an unforgettable one.

Great escape from the noisy city

I’ve been wanted to have a relaxing vacation with pool and beach for my son. Casa Tortuga gave me that! Very quiet neighborhood, clean and easy to self check in and check out. Only concern is that the mattress was too firm for my back and neck. Hope they can be replaced for softer and comfier ones. However, I will book again!

Host was very welcoming and accommodating at first . However there were few things that needed attention. Towels were stained and dingy. When letting Host know he quickly had someone send me better towels. I also addressed an insect problem. We first discovered one roach in the bedroom. Host apologized and stated that he would have someone spray . I told him that I did not want anyone spraying while we were staying because I did not want to be inhaling spray and I also had my pet with us. I then noticed few more roaches in kitchen area and in bedroom. At this point it was starting to look like an infestation problem. Sent Host pictures because at this point I was really disgusted. Host suggested that if I wanted to I can find other accommodations if I was feeling uncomfortable. Host stated he would refund me the last two nights. I wasn’t able to find anything that was available. Host was able to find me another rental in the same community. We were out of his house by 1 pm . Host did not give the full two day refund as he stated he would. He stated that I did not leave by 11 and that he was the one to help me find a place therefore he wasn’t going to issue me the full 2 day as he promised. He stated that no one else complained about his roach problem. I was extremely shocked and disappointed in this response. Hopefully he will take care of this roach problem. We loved the community and the location and close proximity to the beach . Community pool was very nice.

Cynthia thank you for your honest review. We live in a tropical paradise. All our properties on the island have professional pest control come in monthly to spray. At times, we may see a dead bug, because the service is working, And in your case, we offered multiple times to have the company come in and address any concerns. Unfortunately you denied us the ability to resolve the problem. Yes, we did help you find another unit to make your stay more comfortable. Looking at our system, you were refunded unused nights, as promised. We run a honest business and our team goes out of our way to make all stays memorable. We have successfully been in this business for over 10 years. We understand there will be a client here or there that cant be satisfied, and this was one of them.
