Good space, but needs some TLC

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've been renting at Windsor Hills for nearly 20 years. We've seen lots of update and upgrade cycles occur with properties. This one is due. It did meet our needs for the 10 day stay. Many pieces of furniture are in disrepair, there are wires hanging in a couple of rooms, a curtain rod is hanging on to the wall with only hopes and prayers, and the kitchen was very sparsely equipped. Their cleaning crew had not done a great job on the bathrooms, but it was worth it and far quicker for us to just wipe things down.Again, this met our needs, cost effectively, for our stay, but know that the property is not going to have the updates, maintenance, or theme-based decor of many other Windsor Hills properties.

Nice place

We stayed for a week, and the pool area was amazing. Before booking, on the website it would allow me to book up to two days before. But when I asked about checking in before 4pm. I was told no. Was also told no to checking out a day late as well. Online it also says checking in is at 7:59pm. When turned out to also not be the case. It is in fact 4. Because that our overall stay was great.

Not as expected.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Rental is not up to date and isn't very clean. We had an issue with nasty bugs thru the whole stay. Management company did have someone spray but it didn't fully correct the problem. Would not recommend this property to anyone.

Review of Windsor Hills 301B

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: While I would definitely rent from Vacation Central Florida again, I would not rent this condo again. Kara, from Vacation Central Florida, was very quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had. I was impressed by her manner, and the way she responded so quickly. The condo is real need of a deep clean. The floors didn't look like they'd been washed, and had just been given a quick sweep. When we arrived there was a broken window pane in the primary bedroom and a screen was missing from the window in another of the bedrooms. The toaster was not working either. Ana, the property manager was quick to respond and brought a new toaster with her when she came to look at the windows. She also sent someone to come and fix the window and put in the missing screen. The screen in the bathroom window also needed to be fixed, and so that was taken care of as well at that time. The shower in the main bathroom makes horrible noises. The curtains in the living area are not adequate to cover the window and do not provide any kind of privacy. It is also in need of a refresh. The walls need to be repainted to cover where a tv had been fixed to the wall in both the living area and in bedroom with the twin beds. The beds in that room do not have a box spring, and are just the mattresses, and the frames from a previous bed were still in the room as well. It would be good to have extra blankets as well. Having said that, it was comfortable enough, but I can't, in good conscience, recommend it until these problems have been addressed.

Close to Disney

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Floors were dirty, place could definitely be cleaner.Window curtains need to be better-Doesn't block any sunlight at all. Property manager wasn't around. Reservation process is simple.If you need to get someone to visit very difficult. Location to Disney is great. Pool area was awesome but packed and very difficult to get a chair or table. No condiments are in the apartment/condo so you literally have to buy everything. I've stayed at a lot of places within VRBO and they usually have salt, pepper, sugar etc. Lots of restaurants and Wal-Mart are close by.

Great Family Getaway!

We loved the main/all guest pool, sprinkler area and water slide for the kids. We loved ordering movies of our choice and enjoying the small private theatre. We enjoyed refreshing slushy drinks & ice cream cones. Guest concierge was friendly and informational with surrounding area atraction information. We enjoyed our stay and Ana at management was always available, very accomodating and exceptionally responsive! 5 stars across the board on all.

Great rental but cleaning needs to step it up

I do think the cleaning was lacking this time. The floors were very dirty (couldn’t walk barefoot or your feet would be black) and I had to wash one of the bed spreads because there was a big blob of something brown on it that we really hope was chocolate. Otherwise I highly recommend as an alternative to staying on Disney property. Great customer service.

Great little family getaway.

Having the Walmart right down the street and the Starbucks we're super handy and the kids wanted to spend more time at the pool in the community then the park almost.The two negatives for this particular place were the little ant problem we had in the kitchen made it a pain to prepare meals and being on the third floor with lots of luggage and kids was kind of a pain with stairs.

Nice area but unit was worn

Resort had plenty to do for everyone. The unit was older and very worn. There were not nearly enough linens for 6 people. Also, there was minimal cookware and kitchen supplies.

Nice resort, good value

Lots to do in W.H. resort. Condo is fine also, but very thin floors and walls so there is lots of noise from upstairs and outside at night. This condo could use new amenities. The dollar store cookware and utensils are in bad shape and need to be tossed. No problem if you are going to eat out every night. But, for the money this place is decent.
