Welcome to Sandy Pants, your ideal beach retreat brought to you by a local Sandbridge family! This spacious 7-bedroom, 4-bathroom home is perfect for large family gatherings and friendly get-togethers.

Rental Details: Please note that this property is available for Saturday-to-Saturday weekly rentals only. We welcome multiple weeks—just be sure to select Saturday check-in and check-out!

Just a short stroll from direct beach access, The beautifully decorated interior features a large, fully equipped gourmet kitchen with a coffee bar, a spacious great room, and a dining area with a table and island that can accommodate up to 17 guests.

The ground level offers a game room with a pool table, along with a master king suite, a king bedroom, and a kid-friendly room with two twin beds and a trundle. Upstairs, you'll find three additional king bedrooms and a teen room with two twin beds.

After a fun-filled day at the beach, unwind in the outdoor living space, complete with a large pool and ample quality polywood furniture/ seating. Large dining table, lounge chairs, and rocker seating! Plus, your furry family members are welcome here—Sandy Pants is a dog-friendly property!

Pool Information: The private pool is open from May 1, 2025, to October 3, 2025, and is not equipped for heating. Please note that pets are not allowed in the pool area. An additional fee may apply for any chemical balancing, cleaning, or damage that could require replacement of the vinyl pool liner.

Fabulous Home!

We had a lovely time at this great VRBO! The owners could not have been nicer and the home is great for families. The kitchen is well stocked; plenty of room for families; the grill worked great we had plenty of parking. Highly recommend this property!

Special getaway

We had a very nice time. Celebrated my husband, my children’s dad’s 5th anniversary of his passing. It was very special to be all together. We enjoyed the pool especially since it was hot! I do Wish the house was more comfortable as far as AC. It never got cool enough in the bedrooms especially to sleep. I have 2 pregnant daughters who were not too comfortable at night. I appreciate The prompt response to the problem. Been wanting to go to Sandbridge so I’m glad we were able to stay at your place. We will be back for sure!

We just got back from our week-long stay at this property. The house was perfect for our family of 6 adults, 2 kids, and 2 dogs. Everyone could spread out and enjoy the pool, games, pool table and multiple TVs. Kitchen has everything you need to cook or grill full meals. There is plenty of parking for large families. The owner was great about checking in to make sure all our needs were met. This property and owner are EXCEPTIONAL!

Wonderful house and hosts

Sandy Pants was a beautiful house and we enjoyed our stay tremendously. We stayed over the week of Thanksgiving and hosted Thanksgiving dinner there as well. There was enough room for 15 of us to all dine together! When you read the other reviews about the kitchen being well stocked - believe it! They had everything you could need and then some! The walk to the beach was so close and easy and there were outdoor showers and hoses for getting clean to come back in. The pool was closed for off season, but it looked beautiful and welcoming in the back. It was fully fenced for our dog to go outside without fear of escaping. The porch was big and inviting. The beds were comfortable. The basement entertaining area was perfect for evening hangouts, and the open concept upstairs made it easy for everyone to all be together. Mary was extremely responsive and kind and we highly recommend Sandy Pants for a fantastic Sandbridge vacation!

A Perfect Place For A Family Gathering

Mary Ann and Dave provided a wonderful vacation for our family to gather. We had nine adults and six little girls and one small dog. The location was ideal. We were right across the street from an entrance to the beach. An easy walk of about 80 yards to the waters edge. The pool was wonderful for all of us. I am a lap swimmer so I got to do my laps for 30 minutes every morning. Our little girls absolutely loved the pool. Family dinners around the large table made us all grateful for each other. The beds were all very comfortable, the towels and wash cloths were high quality, as well as the sheets, pillows and blankets. Ceiling fans in the bedrooms kept everyone very comfortable at night. We all remarked how well we were sleeping. We used the grill twice for our dinners, the coffee bar was excellent. We are all coffee drinkers and totally enjoyed coffee time in the morning on the deck watching the sunrise. And finally the outdoor shower was the icing on this very wonderful home. Please know that your family will totally love this beach home.

Enjoyable Vacation - June 2022

The house itself is very pretty and well decorated. The beds are very comfortable. There are plenty of dishes, including pots and pans. Having the Keurig was fantastic. The toaster does not work well. Burned our toast and bagels daily. lol Food Lion is a ten minute drive away or you can Instacart and they WILL DELIVER. The pool is beautiful and was very comfortable. We had a few notes of mention that are not meant as a slight to the homeowners, but as a renter I would have like to have known before coming in: WiFi - the wifi was sporadic. There was only five of us and if we were sending pics on phones or using laptops at the same time, the tv would time out or our phones wouldn't send images. TV - the TV has no local cable. You must use smart tv apps. We only used the tv in the living room because unless we signed in to an app on someone else's account, there was nothing we could watch. We watched The Office and Seinfeld all week. lol There are two decks and of course, the pool area, but there are no covered areas. There are two umbrellas at the pool that we used religiously. It would be nice to sit on a deck or sitting area that was covered. The deck off the living room was our favorite, but it was exposed. You sit in direct sun. You can sit on the front porch by the front door, but that isn't really a sitting area. The top deck off the living room (our favorite) has several raised nails. It's a great deck, but the nails are a hazard. The 150 feet from beach walk is true, however, the beach path is a sloped hill with deep sand. It was a true work out to walk to the beach. My 72 year old mother had hopes of going to the beach multiple times a day, but minimized her ocean visits to a handful of times during the whole week due to the difficulty walking to the ocean. Small dog owners - heads up. The bottom of the house by the pool deck had a hole large enough for my miniature doxie to crawl through easily and escape the back yard. The first night we were there we closed the gaps with boogy boards. The corners of the fence do not meet up so we put chairs in the corners to close off the gaps. This kept our doggo enclosed all week. Coors Light Bottle and mysterious chicken nugget - there was an empty beer bottle under the end table in the master bedroom and a rogue, rotten chicken nugget under the dresser in another bedroom. Capacity - the house definitely can sleep 16, but it does not have furniture to accommodate

Great place close to beach

The house worked out great for our party of 15. Plenty of bedrooms to accomodate evryone and a spacious kitchen/common area for everyone to dine together. The beach entrance is very close, only a few hundred feet away. The pool is nice and worked out great for our family especially after a day at the beach.

We've stayed here before and the owners were very responsive as usual. Plenty of room for us all and a short walk to the beach. Kitchen/living room is nice and roomy for after dinner tv watching or game playing. Another nice time had by all!

Great end of summer

Property was perfect for our large family vacation and a very close to the beach. The short walk to the beach was perfect. Owners were very responsive and made an awesome donut recommendation. Overall we had great experience.

We stayed at this property and it was a chance to get away and enjoy family time without the concern of getting everyone together. The property owner was able to address two concerns with toilet seats not being secure and the lack of security on the sliding door. We appreciated the promptness. We had some very particular people in our family and in general, it was nice. I will say the toilets seats need a total replace because they came unhinged again as soon as sitting on it and frankly did not want to bother the home owners again. It was MINOR! Thanks again!

Great location, great house!

Beautiful home close to the beach access. Plenty of space for everyone to “do their thing” when not at the beach. Generally everything inside was in great condition and only gently used appearance. Outside pool chairs were awesome! Pool and pool area were very nice as well! Minor repairs needed for loose door handles, etc. inside. No lock on the sliding door going out to the pool. We had some minor issues with one of the inside showers and the hosts were GREAT with response and response time! Also loved the outside shower and the faucet at the entrance to rinse off feet. Overall a great house!!!!

We were all so pleased with this beautiful property. All week long everyone was exclaiming how great it was and how perfect it was for us- (9 adults, 2 kids, and a dog). The furnishings were so nice. Sure hope we can come back every year.

Fabulous Family Vacation

Our family stayed two weeks at Sandy Pants. The owners were easy to work with and the property was perfect for us. We enjoyed the large great room area and the bikes. The pool was super fun. Hope we can return next Summer!

Almost a Home Run

Great location and accommodation for three-generation family. The house is well-appointed and well-provisioned with the things that you hate to bring or forget: linens and towels, dishwasher and detergent, soap in bathrooms, TP and paper towels. There were persistent maintenance issues that required more attention or adjustment than we would have expected. Otherwise, a very pleasant time for all.

Fun Week at Sandy Pants

The property was well located, well stocked, and very comfortable for our extended family of 14. The indoor furniture was very nice and the outdoor furniture was excellent. The pool area was perfect for our group. Mary Ann and Dave were very responsive to the few relatively minor issues we raised early in the trip. This is a pet friendly property, which is great if you have a pet with you on the trip, but may be less desirable for those without pets due to the inevitable downside of pet hair throughout the house for those with infants crawling around.

JULY 4TH CREW

Our group of friends selects a new location every year for a July 4th get away. We have grown from 9 adults to 11 adults and 9 kids! This house was the perfect size for us, the pool was incredible, especially for young kids being its 4'-0" all around. You are right across the street from the beach. The owners are accommodating, helpful and super friendly. The kitchen was big and well stocked with plenty of dishware, coffee mugs (the big ones!) and a huge table for all of us! We loved this house!!
