Originally part of a local hotel, this 100+ year old cottage invites you to become a part of its rich history. Embrace the character of uneven wooden floors that tell tales of laughter and footsteps. Let the ocean breeze weave its way through open windows, while fans play a gentle breeze. While the cottage does not have air conditioning it is nestled under the shade of towering trees. Fear not, fans are thoughtfully provided to move with the ocean air, ensuring your stay is both cozy and comfortably connected to nature. In winter, cozy up to the crackling fire stove in the living room, adding a touch of romance to your coastal retreat.

Summer:
June, July and August we are a weekly rental from Friday-Friday.

Shore Access:
Thanksgiving through the beginning of April the shore stairs will be inaccessible as we secure them for potential winter storms.

The cottage's location is ideal. It is situated within walking distance from Lamoine Beach and Lamoine State Park. The cottage is just a short drive to the entrance of Acadia National Park and the charming villages of Bar Harbor and Southwest Harbor on Mount Desert Island. Ellsworth is a short 15 min drive away.

Nearby attractions/activities: Acadia National Park, Mount Desert Island, Bar Harbor, Northeast Harbor and Southwest Harbor, Schoodic Peninsula, Kayaking, sailing, boating, fishing, rock climbing, paddle boarding, hiking, bird watching, nature tours, historical tours, lobstering tours, whale watching and so much more.
