Relaxing Rock Creek Cottage on Smith Lake

Come sit back and relax at Rock Creek retreat. It’s a beautiful lake view home on Smith Lake's Rock Creek. Enjoy a large Master bedroom w/king bed, two queen bedrooms on the main floor, and a bunk room in the basement with a twin over full bunk bed that sleeps a total of 8 comfortably. Plenty of bathroom space with 2 full baths. Den includes Smart widescreen HDTV. The main level kitchen/den open floor plan provides a great dining and entertainment area. Private boat dock for swimming and relaxation with chairs. Two paddleboards for exploration and fun. The House is complete with a screened-in porch and a large wrap-around deck with tables and plenty of chairs for outdoor living. HDTVs, a gas grill, and even a fire pit for those chillier nights. Enjoy unforgettable lake views from this retreat in Rock Creek.

Closest boat launch locations – Swayback Bridge ramp and Triple Creek Marina
House supplied with Coffee bar, linens, towels, fully equipped kitchen, and most necessary housekeeping items.
The dock is situated in a quiet area away from boat traffic. Great for swimming and plenty of bumpers for guests to tie the guest boat to dock.
TVs - Two (2) big TVs in the basement den and main level kitchen/den are both HDTV SmartTV with apps (YouTube, Youtube TV, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, Pandora) for streaming using your login accounts. Guests can also bring their set-top box (Apple TV, ROKU, Amazon Fire, etc.) for streaming movies, shows, and other sports.

I appreciated Anthony's timely responses and his kind flexibility with our requests/need to make adjustments to our arrival. The Cottage was a perfect spot to relax and rest. It was clean, quiet, beautifully decorated and the beds were so comfy.... the screened in porch and deck with rockers were favorite spots; and the view was so peaceful.

Clean and quiet, with a nice view of the lake and surrounding property. It is sort of off the beaten path, with a narrow winding road to the property, which allows for walking around the lakeside. Friendly neighbors. We enjoyed fishing off of the floating dock, but the steps to the floating dock may be an issue for some, as there are some 60 steps.on a steep incline. Basic amenities are provided. Recommend getting provisions before arriving, as it is about a 30 minute drive for eating out or shopping.

This property was enjoyable to stay. Beds comfortable . We cooked and grilled . Sat on deck and look at the lake. Roasted marshmellows on bond fire.

Location was good and the view of the lake was beautiful. Owners supplied everything but food for a weekend getaway. Great basement area for teenagers! Our grandchildren enjoyed the lake and paddle boards available for our use. The beds were very comfortable and that’s hard to find in rentals. We will be back.

Rest and Relaxation

Wonderful property tucked away in a secluded nook offering ample opportunities for family fun. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and looking at a great view of the lake. The hosts were easy to communicate with and provided everything we needed for rest and relaxation.

Sweet Home Alabama

The property was pefect for our stay. We are building a home in Arley and have stayed at two other locations on Smith Lake prior to this one. This will be the one we plan to stay at again. The rental is fantastic and the views are amazing.

Beautiful spot!

We had a wonderful time staying at this comfy and cute cabin on beautiful Smith Lake. We enjoyed using the paddle boards to explore the lake and swimming off the dock every day. The cabin was clean and the deck is absolutely fabulous. We would definitely come back anytime!

Really nice house with a peaceful location

The house was very clean and comfortable with plenty of space. The rooms and beds were in very good shape. It was stocked with everything we needed. Nice living area, great master bedroom, very relaxing screened-in porch and deck. Beautiful lake view. Nice dock. No complaints at all.

Absolutely Perfect!

This is a great get-a-way spot. The house was gorgeous and the perfect amount of room for family. The extra paddle boards and water mat were a big hit with the kids. We enjoyed fishing, grilling, game night, and rented a boat nearby for a day! We will definitely be back!! One note, there were some ants on the dock so bring some ant spray.

Nice View of Lake

This is an older property that has been partially updated. The master suite is very. nice but the other areas could use some attention although they were adequate. The dock is large and nice for boats to pull up or swimming off of.
