Renovated farmhouse, dogs friendly/ hot tub with a mountain view.

This tranquil Catskill farmhouse is perfectly situated on a 1.3-acre secluded mid-mountain hill, between the towns of Phoenicia and Woodstock. The house has a great blend of old and new styles. With sweeping lawns and a large fully fenced backyard, it is ideal for kids and dogs. Within the fence, there is a stone patio with hot tub that overlooks the mountain view, it is perfect for barbecuing or stargazing.

The cozy farmhouse provides modern amenities such as spectrum cable tv, internet/Wi-Fi, and central AC/Heating systems. The kitchen is well equipped with a large rustic island table, and brand new kitchen appliances. Above all, the house has an all-season dining sunroom that provides a panorama view of the back yard and the mountains. The room serves great for a cup of tea/coffee in the morning, reading a book, and bird/deer watching. The mudroom area has a pellet stove fireplace, it’s room to kick back and relax after a day of hiking or skiing. The living room/tv room is situated next to the mudroom, it can accommodate extra guests as it has a queen-sized sofa bed that can be set up if requested. Near the back of the house, there is a roomy master king bedroom and also another bedroom with a queen-sized bed.

The drive to the towns are fairly short, both Woodstock and Phoenicia are about a 10-12min drive. The closest grocery store is called Sunfrost Farms, it’s only a 10 min drive and is on Tinker street, the same road that leads to Woodstock.

The nearby popular ski resorts are Belleayre(29 min drive), Hunter(33 min), and Windham(45 min). On occasions, Potter Brothers may offer discounted lift tickets to some of the mountains,

We regularly book stays at homes in the Catskills, and this was easily the best experience we've had. The kitchen was well-stocked for cooking, there were a ton of cozy little spaces to hang out, and the bedroom was very spacious and comfortable. Our dog loved the sunroom and zooming around the backyard. Would book again in a heartbeat!

Perfect getaway

Perfect Fall Getaway

We wanted a drivable get away and this was perfect. The house was clean and cozy. It has all the amenities if you want to cook at home and is 10 minutes away from fabulous restaurants. Not only did we enjoy it, but our puppy loved it as well We hiked and experienced some beautiful art. A perfect getaway

Long weekend in Woodstock

Everything was just right. We took our puppy with us and not only was it dog friendly, it was dog welcoming. The house was spotless and the house was fully stocked. The neighborhood was quiet and a quick drive into town.

Perfect dog-friendly house!

Vivian’s house exceeded expectations. It was wonderfully dog-friendly, with a fully fenced yard and lots of dog supplies like bowls and beds. It was also beautifully decorated and thoughtfully equipped with kitchen supplies, extra bedding, etc. This area of Willow is beautiful and rural but close to Phoenicia and Woodstock. The hot tub was a fun bonus. We would definitely stay again!

Woodstock Plus!

Had a lovely stay at this renovated farmhouse. Everything was top notch and beautifully done but kept the Woodstock and mountain/ski vibe as well. Loved the porch space and the fully equipped kitchen. Doggies loved the yard and we would all love to return. Overall A+. â˜źïžâ€ïžđŸŽŒ

Perfect dog friendly getaway

My husband and I visited for our mini-moon right after our wedding. The house is beautiful, spacious, and perfect if you are traveling with a pet. We loved the fenced in yard and the hot tub. It seems everything we needed was there- even dog bones! Vivian was super responsive and we appreciated all her help. The house is about a 12 min drive from downtown Woodstock so perfect location. Wonderful vacation home

The house was great! Very nicely decorated, clean, fully stocked etc. There is plenty of space both inside and out (our dog loved the large yard). We especially enjoyed taking a soak in the hot tub after a day of skiing or tubing.

Comfortable and Dog Friendly!

We had an excellent time and comfortable experience at this rental home. We were traveling with two dogs and really appreciated how dog friendly the house was. The fenced in yard was perfect to let the dogs out to play safely and the house had lots of dog beds! The kitchen was well stocked with cooking gear. The sunroom was beautiful and perfect for meals and board games! Would definitely recommend!

Amazing!

This place was even better than the photos! We loved the brand new kitchen - super clean, brand new appliances. The location was wonderful with beautiful views. We spent our November days in the sunlit enclosed porch and the nights in the hot tub. The pellet stove kept us warm while we cooked and we watched some old school DVDs in the TV room (which also had its own wood burning stove!) and made use of the games. Vivian was so easy to communicate with and made sure everything was perfect for us! We loved it.

Peaceful Stay at Willow Ranch

My dog and I had a great stay at Willow Ranch. The house was a great break from the craziness of the city. The backyard is fully fenced in and my dog and I spent a lot of time out there. Internet is reliable and strong (there is no cell service), and I didn't have any issues working from the house. The kitchen is nice and well supplied - I loved having access to all the spices and cooked with some I'd never used before. Plenty of pots and pans. Grill was great as well. Vivian was an outstanding host and was super communicative. She gave me lots of recommendations for activities to do in the area and answered all questions promptly. If you are looking for some peace and quiet in the country, this is a great choice!

Beautiful Relaxing Stay!

We stayed here for a long weekend with our puppy and it was absolutely lovely! The house is in a beautiful and quiet spot not far from Woodstock. Vivian was alway quick to answer questions before and during the stay. The house is renovated and perfectly clean. Beyond that, the host has thought out every detail including having pantry staples in the kitchen, tons of outlets and usb plugs, comfy pillows and blankets in every room and fast wifi. Our favorite room was the sun room to sit in and eat in, it was cozy and had a great view of the yard and the mountain! Our puppy loved the fenced in yard so he could run around and it was so nice that there were extra dog treats and dog beds in the house as well! We really had a wonderful time and can’t wait to stay here again!

Spectacular Weekend Stay

Willow Ranch was the perfect escape for our family! We loved sitting outside, enjoying the beautiful mountain view, while relaxing in the hot tub. The yard was fenced in, so it was perfect for our puppy. We took advantage of the fire pit every night. There was plenty of firewood for our use in the carport. There was a nice size table and a cozy hammock for our use, as well. The house itself was spotless. It was cozy, yet spacious and so beautifully decorated. The kitchen was super organized and well stocked with anything you might need. There were plenty of board games, a coffee bar, a hand sanitizer station, dog toys....and even cozy dog beds! The decorative hooks in every room made it easy to keep sweatshirts and other items organized. The bedrooms were extremely comfortable and spacious. There were bins in the bathroom for easy organization of toiletries. Linens and towels were provided, along with bath soaps, body wash and shampoo. Vivian is so friendly, thoughtful and easily accessible for any questions. She was responsive throughout and provided us with awesome hiking and dinner recommendations. There is a welcome binder, complete with restaurant menus and other important information. A bottle of wine was waiting for us upon our arrival, which was such a thoughtful, unexpected surprise. The house is centrally located with Woodstock and hiking traisl just minutes away. We couldn't be happier and will definitely return again! My children (ages 12 and 14) didn't want to leave. This was the perfect escape from everyday life. We are already looking at dates to return. I highly recommend this vacation home and can't wait to go back!

Lovely and comfortable home on awesome property

Had a wonderful 5 days at the Willow farmhouse. Our dog Marlin felt right at home too. This home is so nicely decorated and well appointed. Many great amenities. The place is warm and cozy yet spacious. The views of the forest and mountains are serene. The kitchen is well stocked and very organized. The new hot tub was great and therapeutic after skiing at Bellayre. I highly recommend this vacation home. Vivian is a fantastic host too.

A perfect house that made for a perfect weekend

This house is a real find! it is recently renovated and has a lot to offer. Well appointed kitchen, pellet stove and wood stove, lovely sun room, jacuzzi bathtub and large fenced in yard area. We were there with our 11 year old sun and our 7 month old puppy. Bot loved it! Willow is central to hiking and skiing and nearby restaurants. The house itself is on a quiet dead end road. The host was super responsive throughout. We will definitely be back. Did not have time to take advantage of the outdoor fire pit but will next time!

Wonderful, cozy and clean escape from our usual routine

The home was clean, bright and beautifully decorated. Only 10 minutes from Woodstock with NYC quality restaurants for takeout and skiing 30 minutes away. My kids did not want to leave and neither did I. The reality exceeds the pictures. The kitchen is brand new and the bedrooms are extremely comfortable and spacious. The gate in the backyard was great to let the kids go out and not worry about them wandering too far. Vivian, the owner, was beyond thoughtful and easily accessible for any questions. I was looking at dates to come back before we left. We really felt like we got a break from our everyday life.
