CONSTRUCTION UPDATE: AMENITY CLOSINGS EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 27, 2025

SunDestin Beach Resort is currently undergoing exterior construction around the property. The indoor pool, outdoor pool, and on-site restaurant are projected to be closed until the beginning of January 2026.

Please be aware that construction activity may result in noise between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM daily. Our goal is to keep you informed ahead of time so you can make the most of your stay with us.

Parking in the main lot may be limited. Please note that the drive-through area at the main lobby entrance, typically used for loading and unloading luggage, may be temporarily closed. Each one-and two-bedroom condo is allowed one vehicle only. Any additional cars will need to park in the overflow lot across the street.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding as the resort works to improve and enhance the overall guest experience.

The tan may fade, but the memories will last forever at SunDestin Beach Resort in Destin, FL. Indulge in the many on-site amenities, beginning with a newly-renovated outdoor pool, indoor pool (heated seasonally), and fitness facility. You'll love the outdoor hot tub, sauna, and steam room and the fresh, local fare served daily at the restaurant.  Seasonal amenities abound, including beach chair/umbrella rentals (fee) and an outdoor tiki bar. Explore the lobby gift shop for beach attire, drinks and snacks, and supplies then select complimentary DVD rentals to enjoy in your unit. SunDestin Beach Resort houses more than 3,000 s.f. of meeting space, making it perfect for your business meetings and personal functions. Our warm and friendly Scenic Stays team will be available throughout your stay via our 24-hour on-site front desk should any questions arise.

SunDestin Unit 0105 is a sunny and bright one bedroom, one and one half bathroom condo accommodating up to four. You’ll love the casual decor in this beautifully-furnished ground-floor unit just steps from the pool! The kitchen is fully-equipped and ready to accommodate your crew, with plenty of cupboard and counter space for storing and preparing snacks for the beach. No seat is a bad one in this open-concept unit, with a dining table that accommodates all and plenty of space in the living room to watch a movie on the flat-screen TV. Regenerate after a day in the sun on the queen-sized sleeper sofa in the living room or in the master suite, which houses a king-sized bed, flat screen television, and en suite bathroom.

Destin is renowned for its vast selection of water activities and coastal cuisine. Spend your day on a fully-equipped rental boat or book a private captain for an exclusive excursion. Top it off with a meal at Harry T’s or Margaritaville, both affording gorgeous views of the Destin harbor and just five minutes from property!

Guests under 22 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone throughout their  stay. Pets are unfortunately not welcome and are subject to immediate departure if found to be inhabiting a property. Smoking is strictly forbidden.

Please note that La Dolce Vita is the beach service vendor for this property. While beach service rentals are not included in your stay, you can easily contact them directly for all your rental needs.

UNIT 0105

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and almost everything was perfect. A washer/dryer in condo would've have been nice or either free access to one so we could have clean towels. Coin machine was out of order so getting change was not possible. Frame in sleeper sofa was bent and not very comfortable but we managed. It was not comfortable to sit on because of frame. Toilet in 1/2 bath was constantly running. Not being able to use our personal umbrellas (even though we had the same ones they used) was another expense. 100/3 days for just an umbrella that they took up while we were still sitting under them. We loved being on ground floor with pool right outside the door and the gate on the balcony helped so our 4 year old couldn't get to the pool unless we let him. Kids loved the splash pad, indoor pool and outdoor pool. Being steps from the beach was awesome also. We would rent again but would make sure there was a washer/dryer in the unit. Location was perfect. Lobby was extra clean and having a restaurant and tiki bar onsite was awesome. Great food also.

If you have young kids who love to swim - this is the condo for you! The gate leading out to the pool was difficult for even our 10 year old to open independently which gave us peace of mind that our one year old was safe and secure. We were shocked at how little noise we heard from both door areas and couldn’t have been more pleased with the cleanliness of the condo. The appliances (other than the toaster not working) appeared to all be brand new. We were able to fit a full air mattress easily in the living room and the master bed was very comfy! We will definitely be back!

Great location

This property was at a great location and the first floor was nice not battling elevators. No laundry in the condo meant going to another floor and paying. The condo was overall clean but dated and worn.

Great location

This first floor condo was conveniently located in the complex and the complex was in a great location as well. The only issue is our balcony became very busy with people at the pool throwing trash on it and being quite loud. The condo is older and pretty worn but was overall clean and very well appointed. You have to go up to another floor to access laundry. If you like a firm mattress, this is the place for you. Overall it’s a lovely location but needs a bit of a spruce up.

Perfect last minute vaca

Just as mentioned in the profile. The first floor location is perfect for enjoying the pool and beach. My kids were in and out of the sliding door more times than I can count. Keep in mind the coffee pot is old school, forget the pods and bring a bag of ground coffee and filters if you like your caffeine. Also bring salt&pepper, spices and cooking oil if you plan to make meals. You might also consider bringing some plastic storage containers and foil for your leftovers. Thanks to other reviews I brought a small fan for the bedroom. It helped drown out sounds and cooled off the room a bit more so I could sleep better. There was a box fan in the closet that we used in the living room since the ceiling fan did not work well. I would stay here again.

Perfect Fall Break Getaway

SunDestin was perfect for our family\'s fall break getaway! The staff was so kind and helpful throughout the process, answering questions in advance of our stay, check in, during the stay, and check out. We will definitely be back. Our condo had a little wear and tear but was super clean and cozy. Plenty of space and supplies for a family of 3.

Nice clean environment. Noisy being brought the pool and walkway outside the bedroom window.

Enjoyed the amenities provided and closeness to the beach. Guests have to pay $40 a day for umbrella and two chairs and wait in long lines. People who get there before you get prime choice for their whole stay up front and if you check in after them, you get way in the back. It should be daily and not weekly and guests should get at least one umbrella and two chairs with rooms like some condos do in Destin. Need more chairs at the pool area.
