This contemporary home features 100 feet of sandy, private beach. Feel the stress wash away as you enjoy panoramic lake views with your morning coffee. Cook with family and friends in the chef’s kitchen while the kids explore. Bring your group for a relaxing and fun holiday getaway near breathtaking hiking trails, wineries, and ski resorts! Only 2 1/2 hours from Detroit. Anyone that knows the 72,000 Acre SBDNL Park is familiar with the huge number of activities this area provides. No other part of Michigan is as beautiful as SBDNL and its 35 miles of Lake Michigan Shoreline and countless inland lakes. In the fall nature abounds as the leaves change color for long walks. In the Winter there is ice fishing, snowmobiling, X-Country Skiing and Crystal Mountain Ski Resort is only 20 minutes away. If you are more into shopping & dining Traverse City is 30 minutes away or Cultural events at Interlochen Arts Academy and their summer concert series of world renowned musicians. The lake side of the house is all windows/sliding doors onto the huge 16'x42' deck. The water is crystal clear and the frontage is SAND and has a very gradual drop in depth to about 5 feet deep for quite a ways out. The house is about 125 ft from the waters edge planted with plush Kentucky blue grass, great for yard games (I supply cornhole, bad mitten, bocce ball, dart toss and pickle ball in the driveway). Boat and Wave Runner Rentals are available from a number of local companies. There is a space on the dock for a 24ft boat (June-Sept). I supply bed linens, pillows, blankets and hand/bath towels. Also included is kitchen utensils, plates, bowls, pots/pans, Spectrum Cable WiFI/TV and a Brother printer/scanner. I have a Samsung 85" Smart TV on each floor and Master Bedroom. You will not be disappointed in this rare opportunity to rent a new house (most rentals are older homes with all they portend) to experience all PURE MICHIGAN has to offer. Available for the months of June, July & August there is a 7-day min. stay. All other times of the year there is a 3-Day min. stay.

Good for Groups

The house was great for the group that we had. Lots of room to spread out, well stocked with kitchen items, linens and bedding. Views of the lake were amazing. Very quiet neighbourhood. It could have been an oversight because it is the beginning of the summer season, but we did have to get toilet paper, dishwasher soap, paper towels for the house. All in all a great time had by all.

Don’t sleep on this amazing place!

This house was perfect for our group of friends. The house is very well stocked for anything you could ever need. The view and the lake are beyond amazing. The host is extremely communicative and went above and beyond for us during our stay. The location is relaxing, but close enough to anything you could want to do. Frankfort, winery tours, sleeping bear dunes and more. I can’t wait to book our next trip back!

Family fun at Christmas

Great place for a family gathering. We loved the kitchen and had plenty of space! Everything was top notch! Beautiful place and beautiful views. Can’t wait to rent it in the summer next time.

What can I say about this property other than beautifully amazing. John (property owner) provided everything within the house that renters would need for a getaway weekend (whether it be kitchen essentials, bedding, extra pillows, etc). John was more than accommodating with requests and I couldn't have asked for a better owner to work with. The open floor concept on the main level provided an area that big groups can congregate in without feeling like you were being constricted or separated. Plus the added touch of the gas fireplace was quite nice on the cold days. In the past years our group has been doing these large group getaways, this without a doubt was one of the most beautiful homes we've stayed in. I could not recommend this property more. If I could give this 6 stars, I would.

Moms 80 th Birthday!!

This is an amazing home on a beautiful lake. The home is beautifully furnished and the most well stocked home I have ever stayed in. Our group ranged from one month old to 80 years old and day 2 everyone mentioned staying at the property again. We had four generations gathering for moms 80th BDay! We love the whole area but we’re very content not leaving the home as we kayaked, fished and swam right there. The driveway is huge which the kids loved for riding their bikes. We have many foodies in the group and made some amazing food with room for everyone to sit. Would highly recommend this property!
