You couldn’t ask for better condo to stay in on the north shore. It has almost anything you might need during your stay and is very well cared for. Gary is great to work with and our week went flawlessly. We would definitely stay again if the opportunity presents itself in the future.

Beautiful ocean view property. Beautifully decorated and so clean. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to feel like your home. Everything from the lights to trashes were labelled for ease of use. It had all the beach gear we needed for a full day at the beach. The host was attentive to our needs, knowledgeable of the area, and very accommodating. Would love to work with him again.

Client was advised property undergoing complex wide exterior painting with a tentative schedule that could change due to rain. If impacted, a $775 would be paid as compensation. Only the Lanai was impacted possibly from 9-5 on 3 days (out of 10) and restored to full use asap. Client was sent and processed a compensation check. Client suggested he deserves $2500 that I declined. As owner, I always provide exceptional communication and provide the highest standards in accommodations as reflected in my 5 star reviews.

This condo is beautifully decorated as described in the listing! And the location is absolutely breathtaking!! We have stayed at Pua Poa twice before and were very excited about accessing the amazing snorkeling right below the complex at Hideaways Beach. So we were all obviously very disappointed to find out that the trail down to the beach is presently closed for repairs. I have not researched to see when it will reopen. But it is something to be aware of as of 8/1/2026.Of course this is not a reflection on Gary's property which is simply top notch!

Beautiful condo; exactly as advertised. Well equipped kitchen. Host Gary was incredibly responsive and helpful both before and during the process. A wonderful experience overall. I should mention that the area is beautiful.

Everything was fantastic. Very private and enjoyed the many extras like snorkel gear/beach chairs and things we were very happy to have available.

Everything about this property is 5 STAR plus! We stayed here to attend a wedding at the 1 Hotel next door and it was very conveniently located just a short walk away. We debated staying at the luxury hotel but we're so glad we chose this wonderful condo instead. Beautifully decorated inside with Hawaiian art and luxury finishes, rivaled only by the view of the Pacific Ocean below, this property is thoughtfully equipped with everything you need and things you didn't know you needed (like a key tag for the Foodland grocery store to get the "locals" discount). The pictures don't do it justice. Gary's thorough pre-arrival communication was full of info about the condo and Kauia. Detailed instructions inside the condo cover everything from how to get the TV/cable to work to maps of local hiking spots.But the true test of a host is how they react when something unusual happens - and Gary responded with flying colors. Hurricane Lowell came thru at the end of our stay and Gary communicated with us before and after to make sure we were secure and safe, and kindly accommodated an additional day when our return travel was impacted. The condo weathered the Cat2 hurricane effects solidly. Unfortunately, much of Kauia was severely impacted by downed trees, loss of power, and property damage. We hope this wonderful island and its residents recover quickly and reopen to visitors soon.If you are fortunate enough to have the opportunity to stay here - do it!

This is a lovely unit in an excellent location. If you like ocean views, this has it. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. Everything is clean. Clearly, everything has been thought through. Do note that there are a lot of steps and no elevator - this didn't bother us at all, but it might be a problem for some people. Gary was on top of everything, communicative, and easy to work with.

Excellent location, private beach, and stunning views.

The property is so nice, we were very happy with the location, views our our patio, access to a private beach area, and the overall accommodations in the unit. Gary the owners was very responsive and easy to engage with. My wife, me, and 23 year old daughter went on the trip and this place was perfect for us!

Fantastic vacation spot!

Perfect stay

Wonderful property with everything you need. Pool was never crowded and Hideaways Beach is magical. Conveniently located for easy trips to Hanalei and beyond. If you plan to stay in Princeville, this is the place.

The unit was beautifully and tastefully decorated, clean, and thoughtfully stocked, from extra blankets and pillows to beach essentials like chairs and snorkel gear. The kitchen had everything we needed, even a drawer full of spices! And of course, the views were absolutely stunning — being a penthouse unit right on the ocean made it unforgettable. The owner was friendly, responsive, and easy to reach. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

Paradise in Kauai
