Not at all as advertised
The good stuff:- the kitchen was adequate- we liked the dove soup and shampoo that was providedThe bad stuff:- the advertisement said the view "was to die for." Absolutely not. It's a view of condos and the condos' parking lot, a few beach trees, some houses, and you can see way out in the ocean over all that stuff. No view of the beach at all.- the advertisement says "Find yourself mere steps from the sand..." Mere steps are, in fact, 331 steps, according to my phone step counter. You're a mere few hundred steps from the sand. Oh, and those mere steps include a stairway that is a steep 75 steps long.- To unpack you have to drive down a driveway about 40 to 50 yards long and there is no turn around, so you have to back out of that driveway, which is fairly steep at one point. - You have to punch in a 10 number code in order to open the door. Then they say there will be a key in a lock box you can use the rest of the time. We couldn't find the code for the lock box, so every time we came back to our room, we had to enter the 10 number code. I have the code memorized now.- There is a DVR and TV, but no instructions. I played around with the three romotes for about 20 minutes and finally gave up. The wifi worked well, so we used our computers for streaming movies.- The towels don't dry you off and they shed little pieces of material. If this place had any integrity, which seems lacking, we should get a refund. Walked in and knew we had been had.
