This weekly rental is located steps from the beach access in the Saltaire neighborhood in Duck. This house is spacious with two living areas and is within walking distance to shopping, dining and the soundside boardwalk. Take a break from the beach and relax in the private pool or hot tub. You and your guests are sure to love staying at the "Quack Inn"!
Pool is open from April 23 through October 29.

Wonderful house for a family

We had a great time at this beach. Great private beach. Close to shops and restaurants.The house was arranged for separate living areas. Equipped with a full kitchen, games, WiFi, and plenty of seating. We will be returning soon.

Our stay

Our stay was very pleasant and relaxing. This home is very well stocked and has all amenities as stated. The home is very clean and inviting. The home is in a safe, quiet Neighborhood and close to town. My only complaint is that the mattresses are very uncomfortable

Review

We loved this place! So close to the ocean and to town. Great amenities, pool. Jacuzzi, grill, outdoor shower. The Great room is a great place to hang out!

Best Family Vacation!

This house was perfect for us! My adult kids and grandkids had our own space to relax on multi level decks or enjoy the pool together. Short walk to beach. Short drive for coffee and duck donuts! Fully equipped kitchen and 2 refrigerators. Hope to come back soon!

The Duck was great!

It was a beautiful home, with great access to the beach and town. It is a well appointed home. Plenty of room. All switches marked so no guessing at ??? We enjoyed the pool and hot tub, maybe we will use it more next time! Lots of beach chairs.

OBX At It’s Best

100% best location ever for budget conscious family! Very clean and well maintained. Great amenities! An additional bathroom would have been ideal and consideration should be given to replacing queen mattress in second floor bedroom. Would definitely recommend and return!

Perfect house for the beach

This property was excellent for our family vacation! Beautifully furnished! It is much better than the listing!! Grandchildren and adults were please with the proximity to the beach and the pool/hot tub. We did not have any reason to contact the owners but based on questions before, I feel sure they would respond very quickly. Great location in Duck!

Beautiful Accommodations / Surroundings

Beautiful house and great accommodations for our family week in Duck. Fully equipped kitchen, and very clean from the house to the pool. The beach canopy and chairs were a plus for our daily short walks to the private beach. Already looking forward to staying in 2025!!

Family getaway

Ideal location in Duck, NC. Less than a 5 minute walk to the beach and an easy walk to the boardwalk on the Sound. The house has an excellent floorpan and is clean and comfy. The pool and surrounding pool area are a great place to gather after a day at the beach. We loved it here. Thank you !!

The house was very clean and well equipped. Plenty of spaces inside and outside for spending time with family or finding a quiet place to relax. Easy access to beach and shopping. The pool and hot tub were amazing. We loved everything about this property!

Paradise in Duck

The house was perfect. Great pool and hot tub. Location accurately described as 150’ from beach. Kitchen had every pot or pan one could possibly need. We had an issue with one of the AC units which was resolved within hours. Overall if you are lucky enough to get an open date. Grab it

Reunion

College friends for 40+years coming from NY & MA, never been to OBX, this location certainly was the best for a first time. Walk to everything, food, beach, shopping, pool & hot rob added to a couple of relaxing days. House provides plenty of places to chill alone or gather together. Wonderful!

House was fantastic, perfectly suited our group of two families (4 adults and 4 kids). Owner was communicative and helpful. House was clean, tidy, and very well equipped. Kitchen has everything you need and plenty of beach accessories (chairs, umbrellas, beach cart) nice stuff in good shape. The proximity to the beach is excellent, about 100’ from front door to the public access point. One thing that I noticed is the house had very high quality furniture - especially the outdoor furniture. Super heavy duty stuff in good condition. A pleasure to enjoy the outdoor spaces! We had a very windy week, which made the beach on the cold side, but the pool area was nicely sheltered from the breeze and we spent a lot of time swimming and in the hot tub, great option when the wind is blowing hard at the beach. Duck is also a really cool town, and easy walking distance from this house. 100% will stay here again in the future. Awesome spot.

Great house wonderful location

My family and I stayed at "Quack Inn" for a few days while attending a friend's wedding. The house is wonderful and has a great family space on the top floor with a sectional and recliners. We were able to hang out, watch movies together, and read our own books all while being in the same space. This hasn't been the case at other homes in Duck. The location is excellent: a very short walk to the beach, and we walked into town without any trouble. Everything was clean and comfortable. We plan on staying here again in the future.

Great family stay

The house had a great location for a stay at the beach. It was an easy walk even with small children. Being close to shops in Duck was good too. The house was clean and well equipped.

Beautiful home

The property and amenities were perfect. So many bedrooms and baths on all the floors. Kitchen living area were upstairs and very roomie. The only thing that was a little in disarray was the outdoor bins and umbrella area. Needs a good cleaning but other than that it was a great vacation.

Wonderful property!

The house is fantastic in every way. The location is very close to the beach making the trips back forth easy. The chairs and carts were really helpful too. The pool and hot tub are immaculate and were cleaned several times during the week. The home is very modern and well kept. We thoroughly enjoyed our week and can’t wait to go back.

Clean and family friendly

We had 10 family members staying (ages 1 - 75) and the house accommodated all us very well. It was clean, comfortable, and in a great location (beach, town). We appreciated the beach chairs, kitchen tools, and board games that were available for us during our stay. We were all very happy during our week in Duck! Thank you.

Best ever!

We have been vacationing at different beaches as a family for years. This was our best vacation yet! We loved the house, the location, and the many things to do there. The house was perfect for our large family - plenty of room in the living room, around the pool, in the kitchen or in the game room. Close walk to the beach. Just a wonderful week!
