This 3 bedroom, 2 bath 2 story home is splashed with color to bring beauty and charm for your retreat. Located near the heart of La Crosse, area activities, colleges, and hospitals, it is a convenient location in beautiful southwest Wisconsin.

What will you find at 8th Street Blues? Every room is a true delight with many details to make your stay an enjoyable one! This updated home provides central air, comfortable bedding, a full kitchen, and all the basic supplies you would need for preparing meals, including Kuerig, Instant Pot, and a starting supply of spices and beverages. Lots of items for family time… including games, books, toys, and DVDs. We even have a special 8th Street "Blues Clues" scavenger hunt(enjoyed by all ages)... and yes for all you return guests, we have a new scavenger hunt for you to conquer! Outdoors offers a patio area and grill for dining as well as games to enjoy in a nice sized yard with privacy fencing. We provide extra sleeping areas, bedding, toiletries, and a laundry room. Off street parking is available off the alley for up to 3 vehicles. Cleanliness is a high priority to us. Hygiene supplies are provided to use as you need. Between visitors, we clean the home thoroughly for your protection. We ask no pets or smoking please.

This was our 2nd stay at the 8th Street Blues and we had a great time again! The common areas are cozy and we particularly love the game room. Check in/out was easy and the house is located nearby all our favorite places in La Crosse.

Perfect place for a family weekend

Lots of sleeping and living space for our family, with a well-equipped kitchen. Great location - close to many different dining and entertainment options. We had a great time in this little house and would enjoy staying here again!

Trip for a funeral. Loved having our own bedrooms to chill and relax. The adorable, cozy, and quiet inside made it feel like a home away from home. A wonderful experience for s somber trip.

8th Street Blues was great! Spacious and easy to get to. We took the Amtrak train into La Crosse and it was a very short uber to the property. It was also within 10 mins of downtown and the river, which was great for when we had some downtime. There was plenty of room for two couples and even space for more if needed. Would definitely recommend going forward!

A very cute house with everything was labeled as to where items were located, a fun scavenger hunt in the house, 2 full bathrooms, 3 bedrooms with additional futons or beds to sleep on if needed. Overall great stay & great hosts!

Great location

This house may look small from the outside but has very good space & can sleep many people. House has been removed beautifully. Love size of place & kitchen. Neighbor is quiet which is nice. Short drive to all places.

Great place to gather!

This property is a great option to host friends or family in La Crosse! Our group was all alumni and we decided to come back to town for the beer wine and cheese fest. The house was bigger than expected, it had a great yard, the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked, and it was a walkable distance from downtown. Not to mention affordable, especially compared to hotel prices during event weekends. We will definitely be staying here again for future alumni get togethers.

Clean and comfortable

We didn't use the many amenities that this property offered (big fenced-in back yard, grill, full kitchen, washer, etc.) but they would make this place ideal for a family. I was happy for a quiet getaway convenient to a variety of activities in LaCrosse.

Fun and function

This is our second stay at 8th Street Blues. We enjoy the location. Now that the snow has melted, we were able to enjoy the back patio. There are plenty of sleeping spaces for the group we had. Sheila was very accommodating for needs we had with my elderly grandfather. She also puts together a fun scavenger hunt, which kept us busy for a while. My son loves them! We are looking forward to our next visit there!

Girls Getaway

Gal friends out for a weekend to see Charlie Berens show at the LaCrosse Center. The accommodations were pretty outstanding. Very cute set up and with much appeal and a lot of space. Great idea to have the Scavenger hunt. Not sure if you offer more than one house key, but would recommend for larger groups if they choose to do different adventures and split groups. Would highly recommend and return to this vrbo. Well done and thank you for accommodating with early check in.

We stayed at this home for a week for a fishing tournament. Sheila was wonderful, super helpful and responsive. This house is close to a lot of things and in a convenient location. The street parking is 2 hour Monday-Friday from 8am-6pm. There is parking for vehicles in the back, but I would not recommend this home if you're staying for a fishing tournament. Sheila was kind enough to allow us to park in the back yard since there wasn't space in the parking area, but the back gate is extremely tight to get the boat trailer through. She was also kind enough to get us a parking permit to park on the street for more than 2 hours during the day.

We had a wonderful stay in this clean, well decorated, cozy home. It’s very close to Viterbo and was perfect for us visiting our student at UW LAX. The bedrooms were comfortable and the home had everything we needed. Easy parking on the street and close to local bars and restaurants for eating. Sheila was quick to respond when contacted and had great communication. I would absolutely stay here again. I’m sad it’s already booked for graduation week! Great stay! Highly recommend!

Charming home with cozy spaces to hang out and play games. The house is tucked into a cute neighborhood roughly a mile from downtown. Parking in the back was convenient, and communication with the owner was awesome. LaCrosse has many local attractions including my favorite, the scenic overlook at Grandad Bluff Park. We would happily stay here again and check out even more attractions.
