From the moment you drive through the gated entrance of Lost Creek Lodge you will forget that your mere steps from downtown Fredericksburg.
The Lodge is nestled quietly above beautiful Town Creek, which borders the property on two sides. The property consists of 4 Individual Suites situated on the acreage surrounding the Main House. Palo Alto is one of our 4 Suites. It delivers the quintessential Hill Country charm your expecting.

The Palo Alto is a 2 story cozy & extremely private cottage.
Main floor offers a sitting area with couch, chair, coffee table, television. Mini bar w/ fridge & coffee service, microwave.
Large bathroom with 2 person shower + dual wall/rain shower heads.
Spacious second floor brings a comfy king size bed & reading area. You also have a futon couch for your relaxation!
Lots of windows to enjoy natural light and landscape. And... an outdoor shower is just outside the front door- creekside.
You will Love this quiet & private get away.

Nice weekend close to everything

We stayed the weekend here and enjoyed ourselves. We didn’t take advantage of any of the outdoor amenities but it was very clean. Upon arriving, we went to make sure the AC was on and left to eat and walk around a little bit. The shower was a little tricky to figure out but everything worked great. Communication was top notch as well.

Wonderful weekend getaway

We had a wonderful weekend getaway to celebrate our anniversary. The property is beautiful, close to Main Street, but secluded enough to be quiet and private. We had a great experience and would return here.

Private and quiet

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the small 2 story cottage in the back of the property. Everything was clean and it was very private while still being close to everything. It was all we needed for a weekend getaway and it worked out great!

Overall satisfied with few minor things

Overall we were extremely happy and impressed, with a few minor things. Had a ceiling fan but couldn't figure out how to or if it worked. Not happy with the output of the a/c splits,really couldn't get cold enough upstairs. Very beautiful property and setup spacious. Very convenient to town, we walked everywhere.

Little, unsupervised children pestering us at the pool/hot tub.

4&5 year old children running around unsupervised…literally sticking their toys in the hot tub while we were trying to relax. Property manager did not respond for almost an hour. Pack up our stuff and left. I was appalled. No offer to make things “right” with us either. Will never stay there again.

Oasis on the Creek

Great little hideaway

Had a wonderful stay at the cottage. Location is absolutely perfect for downtown Fredericksburg. Hosts were super responsive and the place was very well done.
