Awesome Getaway!

The house and property was much more than we anticipated! Views are spectacular and the house relaxing and comfortable. We will definitely be back!

Paradise!

We loved loved loved this property! The pool, the views, and the birds were a perfect complement to this wonderful home. Spent 10 days exploring, beach hopping and eating our way through the variety of restaurants in the local towns. Each day was capped off with a swim in the awesome pool and relaxing with the amazing sunset view. Our host Lu was the best! She offered great recommendations for live music, food and excursions. She was extremely responsive and definitely elevated our stay. Rent this house! You will not be disappointed... Pura Vida!

Beautiful and Peaceful

We really enjoyed our time at this villa. It was close enough to town to have choices for activities, markets, dining, etc. The house has everything you need to relax and make the most of your time there. Lu was extremely welcoming and made herself available—no matter how small our question. This was our third time visiting Costa Rica and we found Lu to be very informative about the area in general and the villa. another great memory in a great place!

Beautiful house, gorgeous views, and so many adventures!

Our family really enjoyed the stay at Villa Bueno Trueno! This gorgeous house is situated on a hilltop with breathtaking views of the Pacific coast and surrounding jungle and hilltops. Around the house we continually spotted monkeys, birds, and other native wildlife. The house has a fantastic open kitchen, and multiple indoor and outdoor gathering spaces, with killer views from every room - and especially from the beautiful infinity pool. The location feels like a secluded mountain retreat, but we were just minutes from so many great adventures: horseback riding to waterfalls, hikes, beaches, snorkeling, zipline canopy tours. The activity and dining recommendations from the owners were spot on - you can tell they really know and love this area. Note - 4x4 required, this is no joke. The hill up/down from the house takes some getting used to but is very easy w/ a proper 4x4 vehicle. We loved everything about this place and can't wait to come back!

We want to go back!

Our first impression of the house was it was very clean, great view, wonderful pool and well thought out. We appreciated the little touches with the bouquets of flowers and wine, just saying. Lu was very easy to work with; we had troubles with our flights and she was very accommodating to our needs. Our only regret was having to leave. We will definitely plan on staying longer next time. We have stayed at other houses in the area and this one is one of our favorites. Oh, did I mention the pool!!!!
