The host responded quickly and friendly to every message i sent. The tv upstairs is the only one that was hooked to roku. The pool and hot tub were nice. Quiet area. Very close to drive to town. Sullpied most things but if you want coffee grab some filters. Overall a great stay!!!

Perfect!!!

This is a perfect rental for a small family!The downstairs pool has an alarm and lock which is an incredible thing with a small child, the property was super clean and easy to get to. Everything worked perfectly! 20/10 when we decide to come to back to Gaitlinburg we will definitely rent it again!

Worth the Stay

This cabin was a great cabin for me and my family of 5. It is one room/bed, but it worked out well for us because we brought our son’s rocker that he loves to sleep in! & I myself didn’t mind sleeping on the couch so everyone else could have the bed! The pool was amazing! That’s where my boys spent the most time. They really loved the hot tub as well. Everything worked, we had no issues. We enjoyed the pool table as well! It was close to all of the fun things to do in Gatlinburg as well. The place was clean and definitely worth the money we spent on it so our kids had a great spring break!

Great place to stay.

Heard rats in the ceiling all night but can’t blame the owner for that. Rats were cold and found their way to insulation. No signs of rats inside cabin.

Secret Splash

We had a lovely time at the cabin! While the property is a little worn, it was clean and maintained. We especially enjoyed the private pool, hot tub on the deck and the tranquility of the property. My only complaint (though it is explained in the check in email) is that there are so few towels. For a property with soooo many water features, having a few pool towels would be a nice addition. Overall we truly enjoyed the secret splash and would love to come back soon!

Great cabin the mountains!

Place was as described in listing. Views from the cabin we’re great and overall experience was positive. 1 suggestion is to use less chemicals in hot tub. So potent you couldn’t stay in it more than 5-10 minutes, other than that was a great vacation!

Great cabin

All the negative reviews really had us scared but I'm glad we went. Most are true, but not enough that it could ruin our time. The floor in entry is a little uneven. We still swam in the pool, the hit tub was nice. We had some beers and and played pool. We had a fantastic time. I would recommend to anyone for the price. I will say the profanity someone used in the little guest book wasn't cool, my 7r old read it and the gas grill is a little dangerous, but otherwise I will definitely be back.

Prior to arrival we had been advised the washing machine was inoperable. The property hot water was almost nonexistent. My wife's side of the bed collapsed to the floor due to the bed being improperly put together with very tiny screws. It took a few attempts to contact someone with any issues. The company sent soneone out and the bed was fixed. The pool area became very humid due to the dehumidifier not working. This caused a section of drywall over the pool to fall. The maintenence person stated they had been very busy and didn't have anyone available to empty the water out of the tempory dehumidifier so it had stopped running causing the ceiling issue. The maintenance worker advised he was going to speak with someone about the issues, but ultimately no I one cotacted us to discuss the concerns.

New’s Eve Weekend

We enjoyed our stay. The carpet should probably be removed - wasn’t vacuumed and was crunchy feeling… the jetted heart shaped tub should be removed and extend the bathroom! That’s the tiniest bathroom for 4 ppl to use! Glad the hot tub was up and running… it was peaceful. It seems there is a critter/s living upstairs within the ceiling… lots of noise at night.. if you have kids the pool is great. The waterfall didn’t work I guess but that wouldn’t change my mind about staying for the pool.

Needs repair and cleaned

Bed was broke and was on a 2x4 on tge ground hut head board was still there and not attached. Fell on us in tge middle of tge night. Only two pillows in the house, stayed 74 degrees in the cabin. Black mold around the door going to tge pool.

Overall, the place was nice. Even though I knew the hot tub was out of commission, I think it’s been down for a long time. Also you couldn’t sit on the back deck and take in nature. I got this cabin for the pool and it wasn’t heated enough. We got in and were cold. Lastly my check out wasn’t until 10 well someone showed up at 9 am and I felt rushed so we left. This was to celebrate my 40th which is today. I feel like y’all owe me for that hour that was taken away.

Run!

The keypad was not working at time of check-in. I was able to reach a representative who explained the issue was throughout all of their properties and was able to unlock it from a remote location. The code was fixed within 15 mins. The pool was not warm at all and the fountain did not work. The jacuzzi tub did not even fill half way. The main level back door was left unlocked along with numerous windows. It took both my husband and myself to hold the windows down to lock them securely. The video game joysticks are warn and so the game does not operate correctly or timely. Upon entering the cabin it smelled freshly cleaned and looked that way as well. We shortly found out that was not the case. The property was infested with roof rats and mice who have a massive nest under the jacuzzi tub littered with urine, feces and the food they've collected. They run throughout the cabin all hours of the day and night. The manager did call pest control to the property, where we also had them treat for roaches! The hot tub worked as advertised. The living room offered reading in the form of two guestbooks dating back to 2018 and time-stamping the fact that the majority of the problems were ongoing. After being told no refunds are offered under any circumstances and unable to sleep at night due to critters. We were able to come to an arrangement to be transferred to another cabin about 20 mins away. Please don't waste your time and money to stay at this cabin!

Perfect for couples except……

My wife and I stayed there 4 nights the last week of January 2023. This cabin is in a great location. Perfect for couples that love water features in a cabin. That being said, there are several problems with the cabin. The carpet is filthy and stained. The 1 1/2 bathrooms are very tiny. The floor in the kitchen is uneven. Seems to have structural problems. The pool was too cold to use. Luckily the pool guy showed up and he turned the temperature up for us. The hot tub on the deck has a leak in it and was dripping onto the lower deck. The hot water tank is not large enough to fill the heart shaped tub up with hot water. The kitchen table is very high and has tall chairs. (We didn’t like that. Very uncomfortable.) And there is some animal(s) crawling around and scratching inside the wall right next to the bed. This woke us up every night. If fixable issues could be corrected this would be a great cabin. I gave this 3 stars for one reason. We did have a great time after we did our best to overcome the problems with the cabin.

The Leaning Cabin

We have used Cabins For You in the past and been pleased. However this time the cabin we rented had a noticeable slant to the whole cabin. It seems to be leaning towards going down the mountain. The cabin had broken bed pieces in the bedroom. The over all cleanliness of the cabin was not great and then I went to cook and pulled out a pan that still had biscuit remains on it therefore lost the urge to cook there. The carpet was disgusting and none of us felt comfortable walking on it bare footed. Also I did not like to see in the guest book that there had been a bed bug incident for previous guests and that added to the over all anxious feeling I had the entire time I was there. So overall I was not pleased with the cleanliness of the cabin and was fearful it was going to slide off the mountain. If you want to check this just take a pool ball at the front door of the cabin and it will roll VERY quickly to the back. The hot tub was great when I wasn’t afraid we were going to fall off into the mountain cause of the leaning of the whole cabin. The pool downstairs was nice but VERY cold and no way to warm it up. The only thing we REALY liked was the video game console. Would I rent from them again? No I could wait to go home.

Needs maintenance updated overhaul

Please make sure none of these amenities are not why you picked this spot. The #1 reason i picked this cabin didnt even work. The red heart shaped Jacuzzi tub. Assuming motor or switch has gone bad because it doesn't turn on once water is in it. This irritated me because i had another cabin in mind but wanted this tub. So for me this was not worth nearly 400 per night and i wont stay with cabins our us again. The hot tub on the deck has a large leak and is definitely a saftey hazzard with that much water dripping on bottom deck. We had to fill hot tub twice per day to keep water in it. The deck below you can tell this has been a problem they are covering up for a significant amount of time. Overall the cabin is nice but if these are the amenities that caused your purchase think twice. Also, in pool room it was warm the day we arrived but not sure how what owner does to make it appear like it stays heated. The controls on the wall dont work. So the three water features of this cabin all have failures. I read a review like this prior then seen another saying wasnt that bad so assumed fix. Nope they just want your moment and dont seem to care to fix the problem. Huge disappointment for my first cabin.

Cabin review

We loved our stay here. It was as described. That being said, the only drawbacks were we thought the carpeting on the stairs and the upstairs bedroom was dirty. (At the very least it was stained.) Also, the mattress on the bed upstairs was not very supportive. My wife who is only close to 5 ft. tall had difficulty getting up into the kitchen chairs. They were like very tall bar stools. The indoor pool was nice, but the water was too cold to really enjoy. We would not hesitate to come back. We felt safe there.

Our original bookings back deck had to be repaired making the jacuzzi unavailable. Cabins for you emailed me within 24hrs to arrange an alternative cabin with the amenities requested. The alternative cabin was arranged quickly and efficiently via email. No added charges expenses…etc. Our new cabin was splendid. Wifey and I were very worried changing cabins so close to our travel date we’d end up sleeping in a dump. Happily surprised we did not. The cabin was everything we were looking for from a Gburg/Pigeon Forge adventure.

Do not book with Cabnins for you - read BBB first

This company was awful and I wish I had read the BBB reviews before booking. First, we booked this cabin. On the day of our reservation (we were almost there) we got an EMAIL stating that portions of our cabin including deck and hot tub were deemed unsafe and that they would be roped off and not able to be used. I called “Cabins for you” and was told that they would give us a different cabin at no additional charge. I looked the cabin up, it was beautiful and though it didn’t have an indoor pool, it had a 11 person swim spa. We were so excited and my kids were okay with this change. 1 1/2 hours later, we were notified that they made a mistake and accidentally gave this cabin to someone else and that they didn’t have any comparable cabins available. My kids were devastated but at this point we were already in Pigeon Forge so we took the cabin they had available but asked for early check in for our troubles. They said they would call us when it was clean. This was around 11 am. I still had not heard from them by 3 so I called back and we were told it would not be ready until 6pm! The check in time listed on Vrbo is 4pm. When I mentioned this they said that in the contract I signed it says that they do not guarantee check in until 6pm. This contract is not given to you until after you PAY and the check in time listed when you book and pay is 4pm. Checkout time is at 10 am so I asked for a 1 hour late checkout. That was also denied. The property was not clean and to top it off I now have a rash all over my body that I’m being told is caused Pseudomonas aeruginosa that is due to unclean hot tubs. We have stayed in cabins every single year and have never had an issue. There are tons of cabin rental companies, do yourself a favor and do not use “cabins for you”.
