Condo and views were amazing, just as advertised! Resort itself was also beautiful (loved the golf cart transports), Happy Talk restaurant had some good and some not so good experiences.

Awesome condo. Gorgeous views. Overall great stay. Parking is somewhat of an issue. However shouldn’t stress about the lack of parking due to complimentary valet parking if the parking lot gets full.

Highly impressed by the cleanliness and view of Hanalei Bay this condo provides. One of the best view and quiet locations at HBR. We highly recommend this unit and would return here if future trips bring us to Kauai.Thanks for the timely communications.

The property location was absolutely amazing. We had stunning views from the lanai and could see waterfalls, rainbows, and birds regularly. If I was rating just on location and views, this property would receive 5 stars every time! The room itself had a few things that needed some maintenance on while we were there, including a leaking refrigerator. Some other things we encountered were leaking air-conditioning units, some lights that were burnt out, some bug issues, etc. However, the host was very easy to communicate with, and he was quick to respond when we reached out with questions/needed help. And honestly, even with the bug issues, I’m not sure if that is as much of an issue with the room as much of just being on a lush island (we’re living in their world now, lol). The host decorated the room/spaces with really beautiful furnishings, and we would stay there again.

Our stay was wonderful! The condo and resort grounds are gorgeous. Everything was exactly as pictured. The view from the lanai is breathtaking. Definitely recommend staying here.

This was such an amazing place. The view of the mountains and ocean were spectacular and the loft was such a great addition for the kiddos! We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay here. The condo is spacious and has great views. The HBR resort is wonderful with a great pool and access to a wonderful beach! Would definitely recommend!

Spectacular family vacation

Wanted an authentic Hawaiin getaway and this place did not disappoint. With rainbows, waterfalls, sea turtles, dolphins and more. This place at HBR was absolutely gorgeous. Just an incredible experience. A very special place. Mahalo!

Wonderful accommodations and incredible views. Just wish it didn't rain as much as it did. The Hanalei Bay Resort is a gem. Great property and the mai tai's were delicious.

First off let me say you do not come to HBR for the beach view. The mountains and Hanalei Bay views are to die for. This is our third year coming to Kauai and our second stay at HBR. This has been our favorite condo to date. It is front row center to one of the most gorgeous sunsets you will ever see. We will definitely be back. Condo was absolutely perfect it checks all the boxes.

The views from the condo are out of this world. That was the best part by far. The condo itself is not nice. It smells like mildew and is super outdated. There is no smart tv in the main area and the vhs player doesn't even work. We had to watch a family movie on the master bed where there is a smart tv which isn't ideal. The condo too is a really far walk from the parking lot. You have to add on an extra 7 minutes to go anywhere which gets old, especially when it's raining. The resort amenities are nice but this particular condo wasn't my favorite.
