This home is situated on 2 lots with 100 feet of canal front. This home features beautiful hardwood floors, a gourmet chefs kitchen with stainless appliances, custom cabinetry, granite countertops and multiple deck and balcony views to enjoy this spring fed saltwater canal home. Animals of any kind are not permitted in the home due to family allergies. Close to all that the 'Sports Coast' has to offer.

Host Jeff was easy to communicate with. Fabulous vacation rental- so much space and great location. We enjoy Hudson in the cool weather and love the canal with abundant wildlife!

Very clean. Quiet street. Riverfront is amazing, many types of fish, birds, turtles and manatees every day. We brought our pontoon, kayak and bikes. We used all of them. Restaurants nearby. Jeff is a fantastic host. We had a few questions and he answered them quickly. We have reserved for next year!

House is nice and the porch was my favorite.

Owner is quick to get back to you!! It's on a canal and we were able to fish. (Caught bluestripped grunts.) Would stay here again.

Beautiful canal house in Hudson, Florida!

We had an amazing stay at beautiful Camp Therapy. We all hated to leave. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out (4 adults, 4 children). The house was spotless, had a gorgeous kitchen with stainless steel appliances, comfortable beds, washer and dryer for our use, and was in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed sitting out on the back porch in the evenings and drinking coffee there in the mornings. One of the special treats were the kayaks that were provided. We loved paddling up and down the canal in front of the house and exploring the area. My grandson and I were excited to see a manatee swim by the dock one afternoon. Jeff was very responsive and responded immediately if we had any questions. One day we made an excursion to Tarpon Springs, about 25 minutes away. It's known as the sponge capital of the US and has a large Greek settlement there. We enjoyed walking along the dock, seeing sponges, and having lunch at a Greek restaurant. You can' t go wrong with a stay at Camp Therapy. Thank you, Jeff, for sharing your lovely home with us!

Phenomenal

Our trip was just wonderful despite cold and windy weather. Being right on a canal was so special. We saw at least 6-8 manatees every day and they stopped by for a visit a few times. We found ourselves waiting for them every day. Also saw dolphins, sharks and tons of fish and birds in the canal. Jeff the host was great about communicating when the handyman was coming to work on a couple things and very responsive to our questions. The house has everything you could possibly need and had plenty of room for the six of us. The neighborhood is pretty sketchy but we didn’t have any problems and the house itself was safe. I do suggest that Jeff put better seating in the living room. The existing couch and chair are shot and there’s not enough seating for more than four people. We ended up using lawn chairs. Also, the many outdoor cameras are a bit off-putting. Overall though, this trip was phenomenal and I would recommend this house to anyone.

Thank you for your review. There are plans to replace the living room furniture at the next open opportunity. As a rental home, there are periods when the home is empty. For security, there is a camera for each entrance, doorbell camera and the dock area, nothing for the outdoor deck or any living area. I have a similar configuration (as I assume most people do) for my own home.

Nice stay

The property was clean and ready for our stay. The kitchen was well stocked, including baking supplies, oil and basic spices. The Keurig and pods were great. The kids loved the kayaks and punching bags. The dolphins and manatees were an unexpected surprise.

Great house and amenities

House was beautiful, great central location and we really enjoyed the kayaks and paddleboat! We had 9 people booked for our stay and the house was the perfect size. Only negative was the host. My dad drove from Montana and ended up having a pump go out in his truck. First we were notified that he couldn't park in front of the house, even though the truck was barely drivable, the mobile mechanic came to fix it and we were notified that there was an unauthorized guest at the door...felt like we were being monitored the whole time. I understand having cameras on the property, but this seemed a little excessive.

As explained in the house rules (bold type and underlined), which the guest likely did not read or ignored, this is a residential neighborhood and street parking is not permitted. There was no response or action from the guest the first time I messaged about the vehicle. There are five spaces available beneath the home and in the driveway, as well as.parking alongside the house... ample parking off the street. As for the second statement, the doorbell video showed someone unknown ringing the doorbell repeatedly and waiting/loitering on the property without a guest present. Since nothing had been said prior to seeing this individual, I left a message for the guest (no answer) asking if they were expecting someone for their own safety. Clearly the guest does not communicate well or honor house rules.

Family holiday

Home was clean and well stocked. Contact with host was easy and quick. Great property located close to stores and restaurants. Beautiful canal to paddle around. We saw many fish and manatees. We had a duck join us around the yard. Great experience!

Fantastic host and stay

Stunning home in a serene setting, my family had a wonderful time during our stay. The welcome book provided info for local activities that we would have otherwise missed. Kids had a great time at Sunwest.
