Superior Accommodations

We are so very grateful to have had the opportunity to stay in Martine & Phillippe's apartment. The apartment was very clean, beds comfortable, linens superb and the design and decor wonderful. The kitchen has all one needs for cooking full meals which we did a number of times, hosting a friend who lives in Bordeaux for dinner. Great conversation and much laughter took place around the diningroom table! The location of the property was perfect for us. Oh, and Eddie is delightful. Highly recommended.

A sensational location & property

I can't say enough good things about this apartment. The location is ideal. Don't be put off by the fact it's on the third floor...the view from the balcony and Living Room windows is wonderful...and there's a handy, small, modern lift. I never took the stairs! The owners have thought of everything one might need. You know how, sometimes, VRBO kitchens are pretty "scant." Not here! The master bedroom is actually up a small flight of stairs--not a problem, just makes it more private. And the bathroom is amazing...skylights in the stairwell and bathroom make them both so light-filled. The 2nd bedroom, on the main level was perfect for our (adult) cousins who stayed a couple nights. They are French and were amazed at the size and detailed decor of the apartment. As fpr Bordeaux, if you love great wine--especially red--you're in the right place. Trips out to the regional chateaus and vinyards are easy. Don't be afraid to rent a car--take your phone and GPS the locations on Google maps, etc. In town, you will feel safe day and night...and be sure to ride the tram. It's super easy. Great shopping, restaurants, wine bars...we also saw a concert at the opera house. It was lovely. We're definitely returning because we didn't put a dent on our list of "must see" chateaus and vineyards!

Fabulous centrally located Bordeaux apartment

This is a two level, very comfortable, well furnished apartment with lots of light, all new appliances and bathrooms. Perfect for two couples. Easy walk to old Bordeaux and shopping, restaurants, etc. Great value as well.

Fantastic Stay in the downtown core!

We absolutely LOVED this property. It was so well appointed. Everything was as advertised. No surprises. Location was absolutely perfect being so close to downtown and extremely accessible transportation. Our host Martine was very easy to communicate with. This apartment was clean, comfortable and stylishly decorated. Simply put, it felt like home.

Exceptionnel

Magnifique appartement spacieux et très bien équipé dans le triangle d'or. La localisation exceptionnelle permet de visiter Bordeaux très facilement. Lieux touristiques accessibles à pied ou en transport en commun. Le parking en bas de l'immeuble et la puissante climatisation auront été très appréciés. Facilité d'échanges avec Martine et accueil chaleureux d'Eddie. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Beautiful Downtown Bordeaux Apartment

This is a really beautiful, large apartment, with the most upscale kitchen I have ever had in a European rental. The pictures are accurate. Martine has taken a lot of care decorating it and she was excellent in her communication both before and during the visit. The were plenty of dishes, a starter supply of coffee, shampoo, toilet paper, paper towels and detergent - things not always found at rentals and very appreciated. Super central location by several tram locations and across street from Le Bar a Vin and just steps from Bordeaux Le Grand Hotel. Eddie met our friends at apartment and you just leave keys there when you leave. All very easy. We paid deposit by credit card and it was refunded within the week. Would love to stay at this beautiful apartment again.

Great place in the heart of Bordeaux

The apartment was as beautiful as it is in the photos and couldn't be in a more central location for exploring Bordeaux. We were met by Eddie who was very welcoming and showed us around the apartment. Highly recommended.

Beautiful apartment in a fantastic location

The pictures don't do the place justice. The apartment is even more beautiful than you can see in the photos. The location is fantastic, just opposite the Tourism office and just a few minutes walk to the Town Centre and other attractions. Martine made everything about the check-in process simple and was available to answer any questions we had during our stay. We have already recommended this place to friends and would love to stay here again next time we visit Bordeaux. We had a very comfortable and pleasant stay. Thank you Martine!

Location location location - and more

My sister and I really enjoyed using this perfectly located, comfortable, well furnished and well equipped apartment for our 5-day trip to Bordeaux to see Elton John in concert and discover Bordeaux. Overlooking the Grand Theatre and the Epicurales Festival park, the apartment location was ideal, very close to the tram stops, the tourist office, a taxi rank, the Grand Hommes Carrefour, the Garonne esplanade, and a wonderful choice of excellent restaurants and bars as well as the historic majesty of UNESCO status architecture. Whilst this apartment is understandably not cheap to rent, it is a competitively priced alternative to booking 2 separate hotel rooms and brings so many other advantages of a temporary home. It wasn’t immediately obvious from the details on the website that the apartment was on 2-levels so whilst that was a surprise it wasn’t a problem as I took the upper floor bedroom whilst my sister (who has had knee operations so is less mobile) took the bedroom on the lower floor where all the other facilities were located. As landlords ourselves with an eye for detail we both thought this apartment, it’s features and facilities, as well as the interaction with the owner and the host all warranted a high rating. Bordeaux was a delight. We’d both return to the city and this apartment. Merci

Beautiful apartment, fantastic location

The apartment was well equipped, clean and looks just like the pictures. The location is perfect for enjoying the city of Bordeaux. Eddie was there to meet us upon our arrival and gave us a warm welcome and introduction to the apartment and surrounding area. Thanks to Martine for having such a wonderful apartment. Beautiful apartment, perfect location! Would stay here again and again.

This apartment is absolutely wonderful. Martine made sure we were greeted by Eddie and we were shown everything we needed to know. The apartment was just steps from shops and restaurants. It was easy to access the tram or grab an Uber at any time. The balcony was such a hilight as we enjoyed sightseeing in the morning and evenings with coffee or wine. I would say this is the best spot in Bordeaux!

Perfect apartment and perfect location

Absolutely wonderful. Eddie, the on-location manager, is charming and so helpful. He found a veterinarian for us when our dog was ill. The apartment is so comfortable and convenient, with a spectacular view of the square, the trams,the merry-go-round,the grand theatre,and even a glimpse of the river. Martine, the owner, is also lovely.

Perfect Location

This apartment was everything we hoped for in coming to Bordeaux. It is centrally located, in a charming building and well furnished and maintained. We were worried it might smell like smoke (as smoking is permitted in the apartment) but it did not. Our only challenge is the 2nd bedroom (on the main floor) has no vent in it so the air conditioning was not able to cool it down as much as we would have liked. There is a fan provided which helps, but that room is definitely warmer than the rest. Other than that, the apartment is perfect! Martine is lovely to work with and provides any information you might have questions about. I would definitely stay there again!

Tolles sauberes und schön eingerichtetes Apartment.

Die Lage ist 1A+. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl und hat das Gefühl dort zu wohnen. Die Matratze war uns viel zu fest, aber dass ist sehr individuell.

Perfect home base for a week in Bordeaux

We would highly recommend a stay at this delightful property. Communication prior to our arrival was prompt and thorough, and Eddie was waiting for us and very helpful on our arrival. The apartment is ideally located in the center of Bordeaux, convenient to parking, the visitors bureau, restaurants and shopping. The apartment itself is lovely and well-appointed. Having an in-unit, separate washer and dryer was a definite plus. With all of the thoughtful decor and welcoming touches, our family felt very comfortable and “at home.” I have already recommended this rental to friends and would rebook if we return to Bordeaux.
