Waterfront Cottage on Cove with Private Dock, Kayaks & Fire Pit

Wake up to the sound of seabirds and lobster boats puttering by as the sun rises. Spend your days kayaking from our private dock, hiking nearby preserves, touring a local oyster farm, exploring Boothbay Harbor, or just relaxing with a book overlooking the cove. In the evening, gather around the fire pit with fresh Maine lobster and s'mores for dessert while the stars emerge overhead. Our cottage is the kind of place where families slow down, reconnect, and create traditions they'll look forward to every summer.

Come stay awhile and enjoy life in Maine.

We loved our 7 night stay! The home has beautiful views and is very comfortable. The kitchen had everything you might need. The Botanical Gardens are a must see. We had hoped to go kayaking but it was a bit cold in October. We enjoyed all the hiking around Boothbay and seeing the fall leaves. Porter Preserve and Ocean View Point were our favorites. Jenn was very attentive when we contacted her.

It's not very often you walk into a rental and instantly feel at home! Everything was spotless! The living room was so cozy and comfortable! The beautiful kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans! There were fans in each room and A/C 's in the bedrooms, if needed. One night there was a short power outage and the Generac kicked right in! The TV is easy to use and had all of our favorite channels! Most of all, the peace and quiet!! The view from the front porch is just as good as the out back deck! All in all, it was wonderful!! Jen and Seth were very responsive and kind! Hope to make it back next year!!

We loved our stay at this property. We stayed here with our two children, 11 and 12 and there was something for everyone. It is so peaceful. You wake up to beautiful lake views and there is no noise. It is close to Boothbay and there are lots of day trips in easy reach. The property is spacious and well stocked. They even supply binoculars which I used daily to watch the wildlife. We even saw a bald eagle fighting an osprey over the lake on the last morning! It was huge! There are birds, red squirrels and chipmunks in the garden. There are kayaks with the property and going on those is lots of fun.The host is extra helpful and responsive. Book this house - you'll be pleased you did.
