Great Location

It was amazing, you could stay with your family but if you wanted private time you could do that as well!!!!There were 2 places you could walk to eat, drink or get coffee!!!

the house is amazing, exactly what we need it... My family enjoy the stay so much... 1 block away from the beach the pool was amazing, the beds are very comfortable and enough space for my family; very recommended...

Destin stay

We enjoyed the stay very much but the stairs were a challenge for some of the family it would’ve been nice to had access to the elevator but all in all it was a very pleasant stay

Amazing Family Vacation

We stayed for our family spring break and the house was perfect for our large family! It was a perfect location and did not disappoint! We will come back for sure!

Family vacation

We had a wonderful family getaway. The beach was beautiful just a few blocks away. The house was amazing. The host was very helpful and answered all questions in a timely manor. Highly recommended and will be back.

Location, location, location!

Only 15-minutes from many of our scheduled events, this was a great place for our team to relax and regroup. The property is roomy, quiet, and comfortable with a beautiful beach just steps away. 10/10 would recommend!

Wow!

Amazing! This house was great! We have an extended family of 9 and it was a great size for all of us to spread out with plenty of additional room! The bikes were a great added amenity and there was an Icecream shop and Alvin island within bike riding distance!

That was some of the best customer service I've ever had! One example, i've burnt a pop beyond repair and text.Then, I was gonna replace it.And they came over within an hour, with an a new pot.No charge no questions. The checkout was the easiest process I've ever experienced. Just had to take our garbage out and start the dishwasher. No worrying about where to put sheets and towels and anything or even stripping the beds.

50th birthday celebration

The property was great. Just as nice as the picture shows and even better. Very accommodating for all my guest (which was the 17 max). I would definitely visit and recommend this property. My only issue was the elevator was not working or was only used for the home owners so going up and down was very challenging for me, and I had the 3rd floor master suite, wish it was on the first floor. Great property

Family Vacation

Liked the location and layout. About a block from public beach entrance. House could use some maintenance such as, fridge bottom drawer broken, unable to use, kitchen drawer and cabinet knobs very loose and awkward and looks like some sanding was done for paint in different areas but painting was not done yet. Worked ok for our group and very spacious. Pool was great! Beach was beautiful but a lot of space taken by private property condos. First time at Destin and definitely would return.

Disappointed

While beautiful from the outside, this property turned out to be one frustration after another. We were in contact with the property manager 3-4 times daily for a variety of issues from cleanliness to mechanical. Maintenance people were sent out and agreed there were problems, but in many cases could do nothing to resolve. The pool was dirty and chairs broken, a large algae-filled puddle filled an entire side of the pool, so slippery that it became a safety issue. Needless to say we were unable to use the pool at all. Dryer vents were clogged on both dryers, rendering them useless.

Overall Great Stay

The Henderson Hideaway was a very nice house! It looks as pictured with couple of exceptions. The living and kitchen area actually has different furniture now but it’s better. New barstools, set of sofas, dining chairs, more seating…but it still looks great and was accommodating and seats a lot of people. On the 1st floor there is no bedroom with 3 twin beds. There is a bedroom with bunk beds with the bottom bed being a full size bed and the top bunk a twin size. It all still worked for my family. The rooms were great and the private patios added to the comfort! The owner also had plenty of games for the family to play! There were a couple maintenance issues but communication was great and maintenance staff was Johnny on the spot to come fix. Very nice too! The kitchen has everything you need! And we cooked cooked! There is even an extra fridge in the garage. The private pool was a highlight for the family! The beach access is only about a “block ish” away. However, the public areas on the beach was limiting but doable. There is essentially no parking so you have to walk from the house to the beach. We didn’t use the 4 bikes at the house but they were there for use. This house is near everything you need! Walmart, shopping, fun for the kids! All in all it was a great house and great stay! Would definitely come back!

40th Birthday pad

We stayed here for my 40th birthday celebration and had plenty of room for nine people and we still didn’t use all the rooms. Beautiful house with nice decorations. Some on couches/chairs on 2nd level had stains prior to arrival but didn’t take away from rest of house. You can Still seeing those few of the ocean even with the buildings across the street are blocking an awesome view. Major pleasant surprise upon walking in the house was the elevator. We used to take up and down our luggage and groceries as it was on the smaller & slower side for people to actually use. The hosts were great with communication and checking on us throughout our stay. I would most likely stay here again and would recommend for others on a budget that’s still want to stay in a nice house close to the beach and everything else to stay here. Only thing we ran out of was toilet paper and paper towels but there’s a dollar tree and Publix nearby. We use the bicycles and Uber to get around and we paid extra to have the pool heated which worked out because we went on me nice but breezy weekend

Beautiful!

Our stay was excellent!! The pictures are spot on! Super clean, plenty of room, very nice location. We rented a golf cart which made things even more convenient since beach access is a few blocks away. Pool was warm! Initially had trouble with cable but it was addressed the next day. GREAT place, would stay again!! Rode bikes to the beach daily!

Great Stay!

This house exceeded our expectations. There was plenty of room for our large party of 13. We enjoyed the pool area and also the short walk to the beach when ready to enjoy the sand and surf. The management was easy to contact when needed and responded quickly to address an issue with the cable/internet after a storm. I would recommend this home away from home to anyone ready for some fun in the sun 🐬☀️
