Welcome to our family home, passed down from generation to generation, in which we regularly stay during our holidays.
Freshly renovated and decorated with love by Maud, owner of the house and independant architect, we will be delighted to welcome you to our house and help you discover the beauty of the village of Cucuron and the Luberon Regional Natural Park.
Located in the typical Provençal village of Cucuron, in the heart of the narrow medieval streets and at the foot of the Dungeon, you will be seduced by the beauty and calm that reigns in the neighborhood. Our house, facing south, will offer you a lovely light and an unobstructed view of the stairs leading to the Dungeon.
The house is composed as follows:
On the ground floor :
- a living room with TV and comfortable seating,
- a dining room with 6 chairs,
- a kitchen with fridge/freezer, induction hob, oven, washer-dryer, dishwasher, microwave oven, kettle, coffee machine.
On the first floor of a clearance serving:
- a separate toilet,
- a bathroom with a large 90 x 190 cm bathtub,
- the pink bedroom with a 160 x 200 cm bed,
- the green bedroom with two possible configurations: two 90 x 200 cm beds for two separate beds or a 180 x 200 cm bed,
On the second floor:
- a bathroom with its large shower and WC,
- the blue bedroom (the only one with air conditioning) with a 160 x 200 cm bed.
A babby travel cot and its removable changing table can be made available to you at no additional cost.
Household linen (sheets and towels) is not included in the price but can be provided and the beds can be made according to your request. Duvets and pillows are at your disposal.
Beach towels are also available for hire.
Smoking/vaping is not allowed in the house and our animal friends aren't welcomed in our house.
The house being located in the medieval center of the village and its narrow streets, access by car is difficult and perilous. We advise you not to go up to the front of the house with yours. There are plenty of parking spaces nearby and several free car parks in the village.
It is also possible to come to the village with line 908 from Zou! (name of the local buses) which will take you from Pertuis or Cavaillon station.
Evrything is within walking distance: supermarket, pharmacy, bakeries, one excellent butcher, the ice cream vendor, a dozen restaurants including 3 gastronomic and a one-starred Michelin, the cinema, children's playground, the market, the wine cooperative, our friend the antique shop, local artists or crafts boutiques, etc.
You'll find, near the village: the pond of La Bonde (30 hectares / 75 acres of surface, up to 700m in length) and its large beach to cool off 6 km (4 miles) away, many charming villages to visit, the festival of La Roque d'Anthéron, hiking trails, the castle of La Coste, many one or two stars restaurants (up to three in Les Baux de Provence), etc.
