A delightfull spot to spend time in South Florida, the guest house is perfect for two.
Renovated, and decorated beautifully, it has much charm, situated privately behind gates from the drive, with a lush garden in the rear, with seating and eating space, a small pond with a waterfall, and a gazebo, perfect for reading and taking a nap.Flowers were ablaze in March, and the mango tree was beginning to bear fruit. It is well equipped for preparing light meals indoors, and we took full advantage of the gas grill in the garden
The Morakami gardens,in Delray are quite interesting, and the Cornell Cafe, overlooking the Japanese gardens, is a wonderful place to have lunch.
Jimmy's Bistro, just up the road on the way to downtown, was our favorite spot for dinner, and, in Pineapple Grove, just north of downtown, is Cafe Brule and Wine bar- another we enjoyed.
I have recommended the guesthouse to friends, and we would not hesitate to spent more time there, if we once again head to Delray Beach.
