This lovely home in small town, Louisburg USA, is 20 miles south of Kansas City, Kansas, & two miles from the Missouri border. This town is a farm community of 4,500 people established before the Civil War. Located 2 blocks from the beautiful, newly renovated downtown, easy to see within walking distance. Don’t forget the nationally known Louisburg Cider Mill and our big cat rescue, Cedar Cove are also local attractions!

You will enjoy walking or driving around our small town. There is no bus, or local taxi service. If you desire a short fairly quiet bike ride there are sidewalks along 68 Hwy that meet up with the local walking/biking trail. Not too long or difficult.

Early Christmas

Our stay was amazing. We had a place to play games and bake cookies and have a space to make suppers together and share our meals. We love the beautiful house. Hope to be able to visit again next year

Weekend family trip

This was a great place to stay for the weekend. The small town where the house is located is quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. We came for a concert at GEHA Stadium and it was worth the drive for the location and to have a furnished house with a yard. Anything comparable closer to the stadium would have been a lot more expensive. I would definitely rent again if I'm in the area.

Prefect grandma’s house

This is an older home, if you are look for grand elegance this may not be the place for you. The third bedroom (with the 2 twin beds) is very small and has a curtain instead of a door (not an issuer for us). But, this home was easy for my older mother to get around in, she has trouble walking. There was space to hangout. All kinds of extras and amenities. It felt like staying at Grandma’s house. The neighborhood was cute, quiet, and safe. I’m n fact the whole town was cute with lots of little thrift stores. Quick and easy access to the highway. The owner was quick to respond and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Good stay

Love the small town and cute house. Interesting architecture, yet very functional house. Love the Britta pitcher and bathroom soap options. Great table for games.

Cozy with a unique layout

Staying here felt like staying at Grandma's house. There were plenty accommodations for guests of all ages, and it was cozy and quiet. Great stay!

This cute home WAs perfect for our trip to Cider Fest at Louisburg Farm. We were just a quick drive to the farm, close to restaurants, found a super cool antique store within walking distance, and the home felt cozy like we were staying at grandmas! The home had everything you need and more and we would certainly stay again!

lovely house

This place was very clean and very homey. I would definitely recommend others to stay in this house. I loved the back patio area, which felt very peaceful and private. There is also a dollar general and the price chopper a few blocks away so running to and from the store was quick and simple. Me and my friends made some good memories in that house in the few nights we were there. So thanks for opening up your home to us!

Perfect for families

The home was clean and large enough for us to spread out. They have toys, books, games, etc. It was clearly set up to accommodate families. My family commented on how stocked the house was. The host was communicative and helpful. This will be on our list to stay at when traveling through.

High School Graduation in Louisburg

The house is close to downtown and close to the high school. We were able to walk to the event center where the post graduation gathering was held (near city hall). The master bedroom was comfortable and the walk in shower was wonderful. The amenities in the kitchen were above average. The microwave did a great job with popcorn (using the popcorn setting) Using a keypad entry was good. That allows one to not have to keep up with a key, just remember the code.

Love this house!

Very comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, walk-in shower great for handicapped and or elderly. Host is very accommodating. Sky light over the tub is so relaxing. Love the location, it is walking distance from downtown and shopping. We were very comfortable and felt at home. This is our second stay and look forward staying again.

PERFECT!!!

This was more than we expected by far, convenient, incredibly comfortable!! All the personal touches made it feel like ‘home away from home’!!! We will definitely stay here again. The hostess is more than gracious, the kitchen was fantastic, and all the amenities were marvelous!!! Highly recommend this property!!!
